Pathetic customer service
I have just walked out of Domayne at Rutherford NSW in disgust.
Upon entry a blonde lady said hello nicely & we proceeded to wander the store as we were there to possibly buy a washing machine & a laptop. Upon arriving at the store to our surprise there was actually a ride on mower out the front so that would have also been a possibility to purchase as ours is very old & outdated.
After wandering the washing machines 2 gentleman at the desk in the centre of the store were having a conversation (both Domayne workers) have not attempted to come...
Had the dumbest conversation with a young obviously inexperienced "assistant" I have ever had in my 70 years on the planet. I wanted to buy a charging dock/cradle for my Iphone. I found what I thought would be suitable and asked the assistant if he could open the packet so I could make sure it was suitable for my phone, He said no because it was sealed. However it would be alright if I bought it and it wasn't suitable I could get a refund. I replied "what's the difference you are still going to have an open packet" and it would save me the trip back if you could open the packet now. After five minutes of this inane conversation I gave up, walked out never to return.
Staff service top notch....but what happens when the product they sold you fails!!!!
Purchased a k i tchen full of appliances 18 mths ago. Great service! But then...dishwasher major fail...still under warranty all good they said and i hopefully called the contractor to fix it. Might be there in a few days. Well we go to work could you give us a time and day?? No...well i might...no cant find the maintenance guy!! Finally got a day he would ring me and come...didnt ring didnt turn up at all!! So i waited another day and phoned..we might be there this week or maybe next week!!! Wont go on but i had to complain to domayne ...who were nice but couldnt help. I now have to wait for another four days..if they turn up. Not good follow up service domayne!! Check on the quality of the follow up services before you buy there no matter how lovely staff are.
HAPPILY SORTED warranty claim very near end of period
I was so impressed with the service today of 2 gentlemen who replaced my broken tablet with new one of my choice no problem. I knew I was within the extended warranty period and I thought they would take my tablet to test and try to fix after some long delay. No they did it within 30 minutes and I was walking out the door with new product. I purchased an extended warranty again it was so worth it BUT HELPFUL QUICK AND HAPPY TO HELP STAFF ARE HARD TO COME BY AND DESERVE MY PRAISE. THANKS HEAPS. Jann
