Terrible warranty and customer care
I am really dissatisfied and disappointed in my experience with domayne. I purchased a bed 2 years ago and for the bed head to snap last week from simply leaning against it. Mind you I spent over $5000 when I purchased it as I purchased a mattress as well. I contacted my local store West Gosford to be told tough luck you only have a year warranty, maybe you should be purchasing an Australian made bed as it seems you would need something sturdier. Completely affended by this phone call I contacted them again and tried to speak to someone else. T...hey told me again you have a one year warranty but I’ll check with the manufacturer. The manufacturer then apparently said we won’t replace it however you can purchase a new bed head for $200. How is this fair? A mattress comes with a 10 year warranty but a bed frame comes with 1 year? I can’t say I’ve had to replace a bed frame after a year or even two years for that matter. If this is domaynes standard then I can say I won’t be purchasing anything else from this company again. The quality is rubbish and I am not the least bit satisfied with the customer service or help with the company either. Yours sincerely a very unsatisfied customer.
Bought a 3seater and 2seater Wiltshire hand made leather lounges from Domayne West Gosford at a cost of $4700 .
Three and a half years later the leather has disintegrated on the three seater lounge through normal use, and using the Guardsman leather care kit with a 5 year Product Warranty, as instructed.
Tried to claim the warranty through Domayne and the Guardsman Product Warranty.
Domayne sent out a company called The Leather Doctor to inspect and report, to which he blamed Body oils had caused the damage.
So now Domayne, Guardsmen and the Lo...
Keep away from this store.
Beware !!!. Do not deal with this mob. We bought a dining suite at a clearance sale. When they were delivered, the material on the chairs were damaged. They refuse to replace them.Kepp in mind, this is a Domayne franchise, not a Domayne store. If you want peace of mind, shop somewhere else. All the Domayne sections are a different franchise, so keep away from the furniture franchise.
Really cheap service
Bought a lounge from them and they ring me before delivery as the lounge do have stain on it so will replace the lounge after two weeks now it’s close to year no hope still waiting
Poor after sale customer service
Ordered and paid for a Samsung sound bar. Told it would take 4 to 5 days to arrive. Took 17 days. I rang Damayne twice. No-one from Damayne contacted me.
No aftersales service, broken product purchased
I purchased an outdoor setting prior to Xmas when it came to assembly we found the main parts of the coffee table leg brackets where not usable as they were bent .I rang customer service and spoke to several people who didn't show any interest or after sales service
Appalling customer service to say the least
Terrible after service, no professionalism for such a large organisation. Received a damaged tv which resulted in no replacement as I did not inspect the tv when it was delivered by Domayne, who would have thought you would need to inspect a 65 inch Sony TV on delivery.
Domayne has done nothing except make me feel as though i’m a liar and I damaged the tv, I considered myself a very good customer most of the items in my house have been purchased from Domayne, I just purchased a $5000+ mattress from them 2 weeks ago.
I will never purchase another item from Domayne again.
Worst customer service
My daughter bought a house full of furniture and appliances, table arrived damaged, TV didn’t work and she was fobbed off to supplier but the worst customer service was the fridge stopped working Christmas Day, she lost all her food and when we contact Greg at Domayne West Gosford he said there was nothing he could do until the manufacturer assessed the fridge. Customer service is zero at West Gosford Domayne, without a fridge now until it can be assessed
Totally unacceptable after service. I purchased the fridge in mide October. Was promised delivery the same week. Did not receive the fridge until four weeks later only to find it was faulty. Took numerous calls to get Domayne to organise a technician. Needed a replacement fridge which took a further three weeks. Now find the fridge makes a great deal of noise. Contacted Domayne who said they would organise another technician. They advised me they would ensue a call back to ensure the technician attended. Still waiting after two weeks. No call to confirm as promised. Buyers beware purchasing from Domayne West Gosford.
On wednesday my reliable old fridge died, my computer also needs replacing and i would like a larger tv, so I went across the road to domayne. They had everything I needed on display for the price I could afford. I had done my research over the past six months on the prices of these products and Domayne were consistently the most convenient and the most price efficient for me and the staff had been very helpful so Domayne was my first port of call when I had the money. I called into the store early monad morning with cash in my hand. I was stan...ding in front of the fridge I wanted, I was aware of the fact that all their products had an EOYFS sticker on them which was a blatant lie it's the same price it was six months ago. The salesman could not be bothered with me but I persisted then he lied to my face, told me there was no stock and a ten week wait and a delivery fee of $80 and I live across the road and I was confronted with the same arrogance and lies concerning the tv and the computer so I walked out. I spent all day driving around looking for the things I needed and got exactly the same lies from Harvey Norman, Bing Lee JB HI Fi. I came home and collapsed into a terminal depression. These retail outlets rejected my cash and they have the absolute gaul to whinge because sales are down people are buying online. To the sales manager at Domayne when she offered me a very lame solution, go to hell I'm not some idiot you can throw your "damage control" at because I dared complain. How dare you.

Great Product Care service
I cannot speak highly enough of the service from all parties involved in the Product Care package. Our 65 inch Bravia developed a fault, I rang up and within 2 days the tv was taken away, assessed and I had the choice of a new tv or repair. I chose new tv, and Courtney and Bree from West Gosford store were marvelous. Bree went out of her way to explain everything and made a few suggestions to assist me with the claim. Outstanding service and I would recommend them anytime. PS. I have used Product Care with a computer, laptop and camera, all with the same results. All repaired or replaced, fast.

Wrong info by sales rep to sell product care
Purchased an expensive tablet at the west gosford domayne branch back in 2013. Sales rep pushed hard to get me to buy the product care for 3 yrs, saying it is on top of the included warranty. That was wrong information for that year as the product care started to kick in after the included warranty only from sometime in 2014. So obviously when I approached product care for my device they said the 3 yrs was including the 1 yr that comes on the tablet and so my tablet couldn't be repaired.
Called the store to report that one of their sales guys ...
Thorough customer service in store whilst considering purchase of car camera. Staff went out of their way to answer queries, even positioning car camera and measuring length of cord in my vehicle. Placed an order for 2, with one having to come from a nearby store. After no phone call from store informing me of delivery, I phoned them. No one would pick up the phone in that department, transferred elsewhere and rep promised dept would ring back. After sitting by the phone for an hour, I rang store on their initial contact number. Still waiting for someone to pick up the phone, after listening to their customer service message, for 35 minutes.
I said that I wanted a dishwasher & that I was going to a VIP night at Harvey Norman.
They were direct to the point & said that, they wanted my business & worked out a great deal for me so I didn't even bother going to the VIP night !
