Awesome service from the manager Sam and his sales team Andy
We cane into your store in Saturday and had the pleasure of dealing with Sam and Andy.
They are very helpful and seemed to be more interested in making sure we get the correct advice rather than making a quick sale.
Me and my family appreciate good sales service because when it isnt genuin it means trouble down e track. Hats off to your team well done
Wonderful encounter with a salesman
I would advise shopping at Domayne and not bothering with the others. I was out doing some groundwork for a new lounge because my husband isn't well and of course he will need to sit on the lounge before we make a commitment. Unfortunately all the other shops in the homemaker centre were pushy and somewhat incompetent. Either not intersted because I didnt have my husband with me or not listening to me. Incredibly frustrated I decided to visit one more store which was Domayne. I didnt realise Harbey Norman and Domayne were related.

Very helpful staff
I also recently purchased a lounge from domayne in the fortitude valley in Brisbane. I was very satisfied with the service. I got a great price on a lounge that we were looking at for a replacement at home. The service from Ben was professional and friendly. Delivery was prompt.
Fortitude Valley Store - Very poor service
I would never buy from Domayne again. We have brought a dining suite from Domayne at Fortitude Valley. We were told 6 weeks delivery and it ended up being 8 weeks (no biggy though). We paid extra for assembly of furniture, as we are inept. The side table has been assembled wrong, and now have spent all week with emails and photos going back and forth for them to decide on what the problem is. If only they would send someone out to check on the problem and solve it instead i have to take photos and check under the legs to find the problem....They still havent sent anyone to investigate and fix their faulty assembly. I was intending to buy the console table and buffet and entertainment unit from them as the sales lady was very helpful, but now i wouldnt buy a tea towel from. While Mrs Harvey is buying horses in America, i am waiting on a the table to be fixed, and as it is glass could potentially break and injure a family member.
We brought a leather couch from Domayne, Fortitude Valley. We thought that we were buying for a quality store, and we did not buy a cheep couch so thought we would get years out of it, especially when we also purchased the five year leather protection as well,so you can understand that we were a little unhappy when after 12 months our leather was cracking. We have spent months going back and forth, and even though the supplier has been out and confirmed that the leather is faulty they are only offering a in store credit. This limits the couches...that we can chose from and our current couch has been discontinued. The ACCC website clearly states "Refunds should be the same amount you have already paid, provided in the same form as your original payment." So by not refunding us in full it is my understanding that they are breaking the law.
Terrible - they take your money and never deliver your furniture
I would like to be able to rate Doymane’s products but they never delivered so I cannot. I purchased a coffee table from Domayne, with Doymane ensuring a two-week delivery. Six weeks later and I’m still waiting. Doymane are full of excuses, including ‘broken items’ and a nameless yet utterly incompetent “supplier” the typical reasoning for delivery failure. Why have a coffee table as floor stock if it doesn’t actually exist anywhere?
The staff are nice but dim. One staff member “Promised with her life” that the coffee table would arrive on a...
