Very rude & unprofessional
I had scheduled in and booked the first available inspection of one of their "New" properties listed, received confirmation for it - arranged for time off work only to receive an SMS the day beforehand saying "This property has been leased, and taken down.
Lovely - Thanks for wasting everyone's time.
It is a really nice service from Ivoni. She is really nice and lovely. She helps us a lot and give us quite good suggestions.
Nice experience to choose this agent.

We listed our property with Doug Disher Real Estate as the original agent was very open and honest with how the process worked. Throughout the sales period we were kept regularly informed of progress. Caesar ultimately sold our property and he was very helpful, knowledgeable and professional. He always returned calls promptly and updated us with progress. We definitely recommend Doug Disher Realty and Caesar to prospective vendors!
Have had a terrible experience with this real estate. I rent alone, they let a maintenance person into the rental without an entry notice, I advised them, they shrugged it off. Now it’s happened for a second time. Their job is to communicate with the tenant, provide ample notice of people coming to your home. If I was showering and people showed up and I complained would they take it seriously? Terrible experience, wouldn’t recommend renting through these guys. Really disappointed.
Very highly recommended agency
My association with Doug Disher Real Estate began years ago when I engaged the agency to manage my recently purchased investment properties.
I quickly developed respect for the Principal, Doug Disher, as he was very professional and provided honest accurate advice.
The property management team kept me well informed and ensured the properties were constantly tenanted and always achieved a good rental return.
Recently, when it came time to sell my properties, I had no hesitation in consulting Doug Disher for advice on the bes...t method to market my units as he has a very good understanding and knowledge of the local market and is a very capable negotiator. He skilfully developed good working relationships with both buyers and sellers alike, resulting in successful sales. He provided good advice for the property presentation, pricing and marketing strategy and he and his team worked tirelessly to to achieve a successful result. Doug delivered exceptional service, along with honest and ongoing communication throughout the sale process and was always available to provide information, support and feedback.

Too much excuses
We rented our unit with doug disher. When our property manager [name removed] was there it was perfect, by the end of the year [name removed] quit her job. The owner wanted to sell the house. No information at all from the real estate that [name removed] leaved end of the year. We emailed them that we will ended the contract and returned the key by end of 31 January. On the contract, we only needed 2 weeks notification, yet we gave them 3 weeks up front notice by email. No respond at all, we tried to reach [name removed] by phone, they continue...d say, she is out on the field. 2 days later, we came just to find out she wasn't there anymore. The new girl named [name removed] replaced [name removed]. Told her that we want to end our contract end of month 31st. She said that's find. She asked us why we moved, we said the owner wants to sell it. We never know what's gonna happen to us. At the good time we choose to move out. By 25th she called and said the owner changed mind and asked us to continue the rent. We told her she is really funny as we told them already that we find a new place already. Returned the key on the 31sth. We asked them how long is the bond will be returned. She said about a week if everything goes well with the unit. After a few days, we asked [name removed] and she said everything is great and it's under process. After 10 days without news, we came there and she said the owner just signed the paper.
I would like to thank Doug Disher RE, while searching for a rental we had the pleasure of meeting Chelsea who was so helpful at reception but a special mention to Sammie for returning my calls being friendly, polite and very competent as his job, and just calling me to check how things were going. Thank you all Anmaree
Doug Disher ...............Thank you.
We live in a selfish world where people rarely say thank you, and constantly complain. I have had several years of dealings with Doug Disher and his staff....what a pleasure, everyone at all times cannot do enough for me and constantly go the extra mile in everything they do....what a pleasure dealing with Doug Disher and his staff....,they are amazing. Thank you all.
Not worth it
My wifed and I still shake our heads and laugh when we reflect on our dealings with Dough Disher. Disorganized, dysfunctional agency with poor internal management compounded by high staff turnover. A check of other reviews goes someway to explaining the attitude of the staff that remain.
Owners: Your properties are not managed, inspections are not conducted and maintenance/damage is not rectified until it becomes critical/unsafe. The value of your investments will suffer as a result.
Tenants/Buyers: Just don't bother. No matter how good the property may appear, it isn't worth having to interact with the Doug Disher agency.
Between the unit inspection, being accepted and to the lease signup, this company has been extremely contradictive. If we could manage to contact the agent or the agents assistant, we were unable to get a correct answer to our questions. We were advised twice about being able to pay for rent via Direct Deposit before the lease signup, however since then there were multiple complications with their finance team due to wrong information supplied by the agent. We have still not received an answer since last weeks lease signup regarding a few questions with the unit that we will be moving in to, nor have we received the signed lease agreement as advised by the agent (after contacting them 3 times over the past week). We're not impressed!
Unpleasant, Unproffessional, and Abusive
Even half a star is too much for this agent. This agency is the most vicious, lazy, and inconsiderate one I've ever come across. I rented a unit through them back in Feb 2012. On inspection and signing the lease I was told that the unit had a lock up garage and a carport as advertised. The guy who showed me the unit claimed that that the garage with a mark 1 (for unit 1) on top was mine (later on I figured it was 12 off which 2 had been somehow removed). Upon signing the lease the property manager confirmed that I had a garage. When I picked up...the keys, I was told one was for the garage, went back to the complex tried the keys on the garage door, none worked, thought I may have been wrong and went through all garage doors in the complex none of them turned to be mine. Called back and reception said there might be other keys, arranged time to go to their useless office, property manager gave some extra keys, went back and tried them none worked, and turned out they were for mailbox. They dragged me like this for 3 weeks till I settled only to say I only had 2 car ports and not a garage. I had to say ok because I had moved all my gear in. Now there is a locker in one of the car ports full of the owners mess. I ask the if they can clean it up so I can use, goes another 3 weeks of calling and emailing, they come back and say the locker is not included in your lease and the owner would not clean and that I can't use... Imagine how stupid these lot are! from If you rent a place from these guys make sure it is clearly mentioned in your lease that you can use your closet because you have rented the place but not the closets!!!! how stupid is that! Cut the story short, I had heaps of issues along the way with hot water bill, garden maintenance etc which neither the property manager nor anyone else there had little clue about. During my tenancy (14 months) I went through 5 property managers.. be careful these people use switching strategy once issues pile up and property manager can't handle it they change them so the new one calms the situation and they do this as many times as possible..absolutely ridiculous. Three months before end of my first year lease they chased me up for renewal and pushing it till I signed for another year way before it's due. This is December, a few weeks after lease is signed my wife's travel to Brisy is confirmed and as soon as I get the news I email them to see how she can go on my lease, they tell me there are documents she needs to send when she arrives and a $110 fee that we need to pay. Comes February, and my wife arrives, few days later I let them know and they send the forms etc... while we are organizing this, heavy rains start and the whole house starts leaking water inside gradually. I quickly let them know of the situation and told them that if this is not fixed it's going to turn into a major issue and may need major maintenance down the track as the weather forecast shows. They ignored my notice and within 3 weeks the whole unit became like a shower, all our cloths and personal gear got mold all over them, we couldn't breathe from high humidity in the place. I gave them another notice, and told them we want to leave due to health risk, they dragged us around for another 3 weeks not accepting the fact and claiming that I had signed a contract and I'm breaching it so I need to pay the rent till the end of the lease so we could leave. They inspected the place 5-6 times, 3 people from agency, the owner, 2-3 builders etc... till I had to tell them that they are responsible for our health and the fact that they have ignored my first on time notice they have breached the terms of lease, they didn't like to hear this but as they exposed they accepted and agreed to reduce our rent to half till we find a place and leave. While this was happening I did not see it necessary to add my wife's name to our lease. We found a place in a few weeks and we moved...they gave us a hard time in moving out as well in miscalculating the amount of remaining rent etc.. I had to personally drop in to show them how they need to calculate as they had added an extra day... took them one day to finally understand it...doah!!! We happily left that address. Now 10 months down the road we are purchasing a property and needed a Rental Letter from them for that 2 months that my wife was living with me but was not on the lease for obvious reasons. When I asked them they refused saying that they don't have her on their register (oh surprise there is another property manager for that property now!) finally it goes to another staff whom we met at the time when we had the leaking issue and she already knew all about what had happened ( I still have all emails I sent to them notifying that my wife has arrived and is living at our house), she had seen my wife in the house multiple times from day one when they used to pop in every second day to inspect the leaks, she also refused, we prepared an affidavit witnessed by a police officer and sent it to them.. we were refused again and we have missed on the property we liked so much to buy. DD RE my hats off you're a bunch of useless/vicious bunch! I would never recommend this RE agent to anyone and will stay clear from them. Nice office layout set to mislead clients! They just don't know what they are doing
