i think dove beauty cream bars are quite expensive for what they are. i can't use normal soap as i have a skin condition, but i thought i'd give these beauty bars a go. it didn't really do much for me, they don't last very long. i would prefer to use aveeno as it lasts longer. i don;t like that its in bar i would prefer to use a body wash. i think you can find a cheaper alternative or dove should look at their pricing.
creamy, smells nice and clean
expensive for a soap, not very much for what you pay.
It is a luxury product so it costs more than other bar soaps at the supermarket, but it is worth it when you want to use something special and treat yourself.
Smells great, feels great and does a great job. If you love your shower and value your skin and are particular about what you use then I would recommend giving Dove Beauty Cream Bar a try.
Be careful as it will disappear in the shower if it is under the water jets and you won't even realise it is washing down the drain. The cost is a big factor when deciding to use this product.
This soap is fantastic for a soap. The smell is lovely and the nice and soft feeling you get after using it feels as though you have spent heaps of $$$ on product when you havent. Great known brand and I can even use it on my children who have very sensitive skin which is great. Comes on special frequently so buy up big at that time.
Nice and soft, you feel really really spoilt after using this. I took it to hospital after having my bub and it certainly made showering extra special.
Can be expensive and goes through it pretty quickly.
I think they have improved the forumula Dove soap used to get really mushy but I bought it last time I was pregnant as my skin as really dry and I didn't have that problem. However it does seem to run out much faster than other soap. I do love the feel of Dove soap and find it leaves you with a lovely clean smell. However I think for soap it is expensive when goat's milk soap is also really gentle on my skin and smells fresh.
It has a lovely soft feeling on your skin
Expensive and runs out quickly
I love dove soap, it smells so nice and leaves my skin feeling really soft and smooth and smelling very nice, but because it is so expensive, it is more of a luxury for me. I find that other regular soaps leave my skin feeling so tight and dry and itchy from the dryness and their fragrance wears off a lot faster than the fragrance dove has.
It smells great, it is a lovely creamy moisturising soap that leaves my skin feeling so soft and smooth
It is so expensive for a soap, and it doesn't last long at all
These bars are not cheap and because they run out so fast i don't think it economical given their price. Sure, it does leave your skin feeling soft and definitely not dry but a lot of other soaps do as well but cheaper. If you're like me and have sensitive skin and need a soap that doesn't dry or irritate, get the liquid soaps or better yet, goat milk soap. Goat milk soap is cheaper than Dove and certainly lasts longer and does not dry or irritate skin.
Smells nice, cleans well, not too drying on the skin
Expensive, doesn't last as long as other bars of soap.
Dove is a good soap to use even on the face. I found other soaps would leave my skin feeling dry and tight on the face after a shower and using Dove I didnt get this effect. Definatly a good soap for sensitive and dry skin types. Im a bit disappointed that the biggest pack I can find is only in a twin pack and it can be pricey.
Moisturises skin even on the face; has a nice soft perfume; has a soft creamy feel
can only buy in packs of 2 at the most; doesnt last as long as other bar soaps; expensive
my husband and I love this soap. Its does make a huge difference to how your feels afterwards. But with just my husband and I using it, after each use there was only half a bar left and these 'beauty bars' are not cheap. It was more economical for us to use it alternatively with regular soap. I wish they would make then to last longer, but maintain the formula because it is a great soap to use.
Does indeed make you skin feel softer. Benefits from the moisturizers so no need to moisturize your skin afterward bathing or showering.
Expensive and runs out quickly.
This is the only soap my mum uses although she lets the rest of the family use normal soap. I love the frangrance and when my dad went to the chemist to ask for a special soap to get rid of my brother's really bad body odour problem and they suggested we use a dove beauty bar. It is great for your skin and makes it feel soft and smooth.
That it isn't a true 'soap' and is made out of moisturisers and it makes skin feel really nice and doesn't dry out your skin.
It is a bit more expensive than other soaps.
After seeing the tv advertisements I decided to use this soap but after a couple of days of use my skin started becoming increasingly itchy with raised red bumps. After I stopped using Dove the symptoms cleared up within a few days but I again tried this product about a year later and had the same reaction to it. I do have sensitive skin but I have never had a reaction to any other soap as bad or uncomfortable as this, before or since. I could not recommend this product to anyone.
leaves skin soft
can cause itching and red bumps - may not be suitable for people with sensitive skin
I started using this soap when it first came out and have continued to use it on and off, particularly if I can get it on special which you often can. The smell is nice and I find it has never irritated my skin. At one stage I was using it on my face when I had run out of cleanser as it was mild enough. My skin doesn't dry out as much and I find it has a pleasant smell.
Reasonable price, nice smell, leaves skin feeling nice and soft.
Can go a bit mushy. Doesn't stay as hard as regular soap, maybe because of the moisturiser.
Being a bit of a Beauty Queen myself, I have to say you just can go by Dove. It is such a great brand! All of their products are beautiful. The soap is gentle and non drying on the skin. It does however become very soft if not kept in a water tight soap container. But it smells divine and well worth the little extra money spent.
All Dove products smell lovely. It has moisturising qualities and is non drying and gentle on the skin.
The bar of soap itself becomes very soft if left out in water. It is a little more expensive conpared to other brands but well worth it.
Overall, I would by Dove soap more often if it were not for its expensive price. It leaves my skin silky smooth after use and it smells lovely. It is mostly made up of lotion so it doesn't dry out your skin. Excellent if you have dry skin like me and very gentle too.
great mild smell, doesn't leave skin dry like other soaps can
Very expensive compared to other soaps sold in the market, it also has a tendency to melt quickly as it is not as compact and hard as other soaps. Make sure you put it in a soap dish that has adequate drainage.
I love this soap mostly because it doesn't dry out my skin and it smells so fresh and lovely - I actually feel clean after using it. It is a little expensive but I have found buying the 4 pack works out alot cheaper than purchasing individually or in the twin packs. It's gentle and non irritating and you actually feel like you are moisturising as well as cleansing.
leaves skin feeling fresh, soft and supple and has an inbuilt moisturiser so don't dry skin out like other soaps
Alot more expensive that regular soap, but the results are worth it
The Dove Beauty bar is a really special soap which contains moisturiser which allows the skin to be left feeing lovely and soft and won't dry out your skin as much as other regular soaps. It smells lovely and is a bit more special than regular soaps. They can be quite pricey however if you can get them in a bulk pack it works out cheaper and when on special even better. Great to put in a gift hamper too.
Leaves skin feeling lovely and soft and a lovely scent
more expensive than regular soap but it's a lot better as it leaves skin feeling nice and soft and smells really nice too
A classic beauty product! This is pracically the only soap bar I will use now, because I love the moisturising effect and the scent. It leaves my soft smelling nice and it feels great to use. I don't like the fact that it dissovles quickly, but I would stil buy this product again.
I love the scent, and the fact that 1/4 of it is moisturising cream. It doesn't dry out skin like most soaps.
It's pretty soft and mushy, so you can hold it too tight or leave it in water, or it just turns into soapy goo mush. It costs a bit more than your average soap. It dissovles very quickly.
Dove Beauty Bar is so much better than using soap if you get irritated skin from using nnormal soaps. It is rich and creamy and leaves your skin feeling so soft after use. The scent is nothing spectacular but it is not a bad smell either. It is perfect for the whole family to use even little one's. It is non drying and a much better alternative for cleansing skin than soap.
Leaves skin soft and moisturised with out the drying effect of a normal soap. Excellent for sensitive skin
It runs out to fast and goes pretty mushy when left in the shower.
I suffer from eczema and find that standard soap dries my skin so cannot be used by myself. Dove is great because my skin has never reacted or felt dry after using it.
My only concerns about the product is that is dissolves very very quickly and does not last long. Put this together with the its high price and Dove can costs a lot in the long run.
A great alternative to soap that does not dry the skin. I have sensitive skin that suffers from eczema and do not react from it.
It dissolves very quickly in water and has a high price attached.
I think that this soap could stand to be improved. It just dissolves too fast and becomes soggy for quite a while after it has been used. As good an idea as it is to blend moisturiser with soap it would be better if it could be a little more practical in the use.
Good for cleaning the face and using as part of makeup removal routine. Does leave the skin feeling soft and moist as the ads promise, but I am not overly impressed with the Dove range.
Dissolves very quickly in the shower and does not last very long. Is the most expensive soap I have ever seen and not good value for money. Animal testing.
