As of March 6th 2019, Dux is offering each reviewer a Parts and Labour Warranty Extension from one year to three years to their customers to encourage them to write a positive or a negative review. It is possible that reviews were written by customers who received such a reward.

6 year old system. $1000 on new pump and diverted which was suggested by tech support over the phone as Duc have no supportimg plumbers in our region. No tech support in our area. Customer service Would allow me to talk to any one in management. Totally appalled at this product and Dux staff.
simply i prefer buying products made in china than this money costing machine.
costing a lot to maintain, breaking itself one by one almost every months and costing around $500 each time and the product is disgrace i feel sorry dux is australian company

We have had issues with the Dux Sunpro gas boosted solar hot water heater since moving into a newly built home 2 years ago. We have found it to be unreliable and frustrating, one day it works and the next it doesn't. It was repaired under warranty. But in the past 9 months it has continually stopped working. The Dux recommended Technician has had trouble trying to work out what the problem is, as hard as he has tried! Are Dux providing enough technical training and support for their local service technicians? Our contact with Dux customer serv...ice has been less than satisfactory. We are waiting for our local technician to call us back, while he is trying to work with Dux to resolve the problem. We have had unreliable hot water for at least 9 months and now no hot water at all for the past 4 days and no idea when we will have!! If we have to buy another hot water service, we will be doing a lot of research and it definitely won't be a Dux.
Worst System - Do Not Buy Dux
Don't purchase products from Dux. Based on my experience with this product there has been nothing but issues, surprise cold water on a regular basis, low pressure and faulty parts. Only 12 months warranty (misleading 5 years advertised) so not continually getting service costs. Company doesn't stand by expensive product! Service is extremely poor to the point of being rude. Don't buy DUX

Whatever u do, don't by a Dux.. We bought a new house that had had one installed (not by choice). In it's first month it was apparently recalled for a leaking gas valve (prior to us moving in) then after our first month in the place (6months after it was installed) the tempering valve had to be replaced and conveniently this part WAS NOT covered under their 12month parts warranty. Now with no hot water again for 48hrs (2yrs after installation) the technician is back and unsure of what is wrong. He has had to order 3parts that will be here Frida...y at the earliest (it's weds) but more likely Mon or tues next week just so he can do a process of elimination to see what's wrong. All if which will be at our expense due to only a 12month warranty on parts. I have a 9month old baby so no hot water already for 2days and potentially almost a week longer is just great and my relo's are 150-1000kms away to bot a shower off. FYI- I got no help or compassion from their useless customer service team either. So whatever u do, DON'T BUY A DUX.
