Customer service failure
Mailed to my neighbour said I received at front steps in tracking. Infact I was home and driver got lazy asked neighbour to bring me my 800$ purchase.
I received 4 hrs later. I noticed tracking stated I received. Literally stated my name receiving at front step. I emailed Dyson they said I received and to file a police report if I am claiming I didn't.
Basically calling me a liar.
Come to find out 4 hrs after my neighbours had this. Box was damaged.
Who is to say they weren't planning on keeping this?
You are not covered on your purchases through Dyson . They were leaving me out to dry. ...They also violated my privacy as I do not want people to know what I got in my house. Dyson failed big time. Still no response back.

I bought the Dyson purifier less than a year ago. I couldn’t use the button on the machine nor remote control to activate the machine, so I return it back to the company. But before that it took a week email them back and forward because of their slow response. Another week to receive the brand new machine. I tried it for the first time, it had burning smell. I turned it off for awhile and I tried it again. After 5-10 minutes, “Faulty detected” on the monitor screen and on my apps appeared. I couldn’t turn it off on the button machine, remote c...ontrol nor on the apps. I were anxious that night what if it catches fire and wondering if I left the machine alone and I can’t control it with my apps when I am away, it will be a fire/electrical hazard. So another week email them again back and forward until I can return that faulty brand new machine back. I have explained it to them that I haven’t had heater for 4 weeks now, the weather is getting cold and I got sick because of it. They didn’t seem to care. Overprice product, faulty machine even for the brand new machine, slow response, lack of sympathy from the team. Is it worth buying their products? Think twice guys.

This unit is way overpriced I have a Bunnings 6” fan for $10 that blows quieter and way more powerful than this Dyson hp04. I know it purifiers and can blow hot but $899 really Dyson!!. Seriously it’s noisy at level 6 and that could not blow bubbles in a bath. Unless you have money to throw away get a $250 air purifier and an Bunnings $10 fan.. oh and also a oil heater $100. Still $400 saving and will defo 100% blow better

ONLY HAD A FEW DAYS AND IT DOESN'T WORK
So far I have had to return 2 Dyson Hot/Cold Purifiers due to them not working. I just got my third replacement last week and what happens today? I have an exclamation mark and the machine won't do anything. So tomorrow I have to call Dyson ONCE AGAIN and get this resolved. Very disgusted with Dyson products at this point. Also, filters are extremely hard to get and I need a new filter for another Dyson Purifier that I have. This is really disgusting all the way around. Dyson needs to look at their quality.

Good Heater, Good Air Purifier, Terrible Fan
Had this product for over a year.
Did a good job for purifying the air.
Does a good job in winter for heating up small-medium size rooms
Absolutely useless in summer. Low speeds do not push enough air around, high speeds are noisy.
On low speeds it emits a whine/squeel noise which is common according problem you will see on forums and youtube.
Dyson support were not helpful.
Other fans at 1/10th of the price does a much better job then this.
Purchased in January 2020 at qantas store for $720.00.
Do not buy
We have had this product for 4 months, all was well but now the exclamation mark inside a triangle on the display and the machine doesn't work. Piece of junk.

Good purifier but can't use due to no filter in stock for months.
We purchased this in January due to the Bushfire smoke triggering my asthma. We didn't have many options at the time and decided on the dyson with reassurance of the ease of ordering the $99 free shipping glass hepa with carbon replacement filters. A few months ago both filters were starting to show nearly full, the website said to be notified when in stock. We are still waiting? When ringing dyson they said we could buy the filter in separate parts for $110. I said if its the same thing why wouldn't they sell for $99, even suggesting they box ...it together. Its only $10, but it's the principle of waiting so long for a filter and then charging more for the exact same thing but in separate boxes. Dyson, you've shown lack of customer care and wanting to line your pockets more. Won't be purchasing any more dyson products in future and will look into swapping for a breville purifier instead.

Not Worth The Money
I got into air purifiers during the bushfire season and thought an air purifier with a heat/cooling component would be good. But it's got some weird glitches to it and Dyson service/help desk is not what it used to be. After about a week you get an irrelevant reply cut and pasted from the manual that you've read already and then an email asking you to rate their service. Mine keeps showing the problem alert signal and is super noisy. I also get headaches and feel sick when it is turned up high - I think that it is overheating and there might be...flame retardant chemical in there that is toxic. It triggers its own VOC (volatile organic particle) emission alert when it has been on for more than a few hours and my power bill is apparently the same as an eight-person household - when there are two of us. Nothing has changed except this heater. Given that my last perfectly rational question to Dyson was met with a late, mealy-mouthed and patronizing response, I'm not wasting time approaching them again - I think they've been bought out by another company - I used to love them and any of their products automatically went on my 'want' list.

Waste of money.
Does not deliver heat far enough. 2 seater sofa, 2nd person feels cool air, the person closest feels some heat. ( set at 37)
Bought last week & fan stable on a hard wood floor. Not satisfied. Waste of money.

Love this product
This fan/purifier is fantastic. It is quiet & very easy to move around to different rooms. My stuffy nose is a lot less now in the mornings so that is a huge plus. I love the Night time setting and the timer, and the phone “app” as well.

Not 100% but still great
The fan and heating options are fantastic. It is very stable and well-made. It was very easy to set up and control via my phone using the Dyson App. The only thing I don't like is that the schedules within the app work to turn off the fan, but not to turn back on. It's a shame because other than that I think that it is well worth the money if you need an air purifier and heater.

Wasn’t for Us
We purchased this fan from Jb Hi Fi. It came highly recommended. When purchasing the fan we indicated that we wanted an extra heat source for an on-site caravan but more specifically to keep our kids room warm in the annexe. Unfortunately it really struggled to heat the room. It was used for 4 days and struggled to lift to room temperature I also didn’t notice any difference in the air quality. I was pretty disappointed considering the price and for the amount of money we spent we are better off getting a small split system installed. We have now returned this item.

Poor quality control on product
If the product worked as described it would be great.
Unfortunately, we’ve had nothing but issues. Our machine has been replaced twice now for different faults - we thought “third time lucky”... unfortunately that wasn’t the case and now we are getting a refund. If you’ve got time to constantly call centre support and drive around getting the models replaced this is for you. Otherwise don’t waste your money.

I waited several days for the purifier after ordering the product directly from Dyson over the phone. The phone order itself took 3 hours because the sales representation claimed the system was down. The purifier arrived, and as soon as I plugged it in and turned it on, there was a burning smell coming out of it and the purifier stopped working with a triangle sign and exclamation mark. After that, the machine won't work. This has been extremely disappointing and frustrating because it's meant to be a new one, yet Dyson sent me a faulty purifie...r. I have wasted a lot of time so far on this product, and now I have to waste more time by taking it back to the post office to get it shipped back to Dyson and wait even longer to get my money back. Ordering directly from Dyson has been a big mistake, and it's better to buy products from the retailers for better service. It has been very disappointing that for such an expensive product, Dyson sent a faulty one and caused me great inconvenience.

Grinding noise when changing airflow direction from back to front
I expect a smoother mechanical for a super expensive appliance.
This is the second unit i have exchanged. Disturbing noise got better but still persist.
It maybe a common issue with this model.
Not sure how it passed the test.

My Dyson put hot + cool HP04 is 12 months old , it now keeps turning off & showing caution symbol.
Contact Dyson since you still have the warranty. It happened to me twice even with the brand new replacement. But don’t expect quick response from them, It took me 2 months. I just got the third machine yesterday, I am going to try it on today. Hopefully, it works. Otherwise I have to do this process all over again. Lose trust on them now.

Thanks for answering, this heater was bought through a Hervey Norman store I’ll Australia. Can you help in rectifying the problem of it shutting down all the time when set on heat of 23 deg C and showing a caution symbol.
We’ve had our Dyson pure hot + cool for about 2 weeks and it’s started to become jerky when oscillating. It will be smooth in one direction, then jerky when it reaches the end of the other direction. Any ideas on how to fix?

Hi, I have mine for a year without major issue and then very suddenly it stops working with exclamation mark inside a triangle. I have tried reset, unplug, clean sensors, but it still refuses to go pass 2 seconds before the triangle error returns. Any possible explanation for that?
The exclamation mark screen is indicating the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool isn't able to follow the last directive it received, or something is not quite right within the machine.
