Good purifier but can't use due to no filter in stock for months.
We purchased this in January due to the Bushfire smoke triggering my asthma. We didn't have many options at the time and decided on the dyson with reassurance of the ease of ordering the $99 free shipping glass hepa with carbon replacement filters. A few months ago both filters were starting to show nearly full, the website said to be notified when in stock. We are still waiting? When ringing dyson they said we could buy the filter in separate parts for $110. I said if its the same thing why wouldn't they sell for $99, even suggesting they box ...Read more
it together. Its only $10, but it's the principle of waiting so long for a filter and then charging more for the exact same thing but in separate boxes. Dyson, you've shown lack of customer care and wanting to line your pockets more. Won't be purchasing any more dyson products in future and will look into swapping for a breville purifier instead.Purchased in January 2020 at The Good Guys for A$999.00.

Its little things like this that really make a company seem humble to providing a service that is paid for in the high end prices of its products sold. A better solution would have been "dyson recognises the inconvenience of the bundle filter being out of stock so will bundle the two parts for same price on website as a way to overcome this inconvenience and make it easy for those who are website illiterate and need an easy clear option to replace the bundle filter" Also I was told there was no ETA on the filter when called today. Poor quality control on product
If the product worked as described it would be great.
Unfortunately, we’ve had nothing but issues. Our machine has been replaced twice now for different faults - we thought “third time lucky”... unfortunately that wasn’t the case and now we are getting a refund. If you’ve got time to constantly call centre support and drive around getting the models replaced this is for you. Otherwise don’t waste your money.
Purchased in December 2019 at Harvey Norman for A$899.00.

Disappointing product
I waited several days for the purifier after ordering the product directly from Dyson over the phone. The phone order itself took 3 hours because the sales representation claimed the system was down. The purifier arrived, and as soon as I plugged it in and turned it on, there was a burning smell coming out of it and the purifier stopped working with a triangle sign and exclamation mark. I have wasted a lot of time so far on this product, and now I have to waste more time by taking it back to the post office to get it shipped back to Dyson and wait even longer to get my money back. Ordering directly from Dyson has been a big mistake, and it's better to buy products from the retailers for better service. It has been very disappointing that for such an expensive product, Dyson sent a faulty one and caused me great inconvenience.Purchased in May 2020 at Dyson.

Faulty on arrival. Very disappointed!!
Purchased the HP04 from Harvey Norman online. I received the product after 20 days and switched it on yesterday. The unit seems to have a problem with the fan. When in auto mode and the set temperature is above the room temperature the fan works fine. However, when it reaches the set temperature, the fan speed just drops completely that unless you put your hand in front of the vent you can't feel the breeze. Pushing the fan speed up using the remote control results in the fan speed number on the display panel going up (even up to 10) but there ...Read more
is no change in the fan speed. I got in touch with Dyson support and was told that they would open a service ticket. I have to now pack the unit back into the box, print and put the return label on it and drop it off at AusPost and then wait for them to fix the problem and send me the unit back (no ETA provided). Usually people spend the additional dollar for quality and piece of mind and this experience doesn't sound anywhere close to it for the premium price paid. 100% failure rate. In hindsight I would rather return this and get 5 units from Kogan that would all work well with 100% success rate.Purchased in April 2020 at Harvey Norman Online for A$899.00.

Broken after one day
I’m really disappointed. Our machine is not working after being used for one day. When I turn the machine on after a few seconds it shows a triangle with exclamation mark. I have tried contacting Dyson to work out how to fix this and they have not yet responded.
Purchased in January 2020 at Harvey Norman for A$899.00.

When your machine is in auto mode, the fan speed will be shown as dimmed when the machine is monitoring the room, and will be more prominent when actively purifying the air.

Hi,
Just wondering to use the appropiate term Fan vs Cooling based on the performance in hot summer. Does it really cool the room though its not a Air Conditioner?

To confirm, the Dyson Pure Hot+Cool can function as a heater, however doesn't function as an air conditioner as it doesn't work on refrigerants or the like. The "cool" refers to it's ability to function as a fan to cool you in summer using the wind chill effect.
