I bought this during winter whilst working from home to warm the office space. It warms the room within a few minutes. You can specify the temperature you want and it will maintain this automatically. The timers and wifi functionality is amazing, especially when coming home during a cold day, you can turn the heater on from the App on your phone before arriving and the space is nice and warm.
The purifier is excellent and takes all smells including kitchen cooking smells away. You can set it on auto and when it detects the air is not clear/cle...an it will turn on and filter until it is. This has been a great feature especially when there have been bush fires around and during spring in filtering the pollen from the air. Overall i would rate this 10 out of 10 and would highly recommend to anyone with allergies or sensitivities to odours and smells.

I love this unit, it's not just another electric Space Heater.
This product is very easy to use especially if you have used any smartphone before as it's all controllable from anywhere in the world direct from your smartphone which actually allows you to see what's going on in terms of the air quality in your home when you're away but also allows you to turn the heater on for your arrival for example or schedule at for certain times a day. It is very straight forward to get up and running, I opened the box looked at the two filter halves pressed the button on the side of the unit which popped the covers of...f and it is self explanatory how the filters went in. I then pushed the covers back on, I never even had to open the instructions. I have mine set up to preheat my bedroom to 18 degrees an hour before I go to bed it then shuts off and only turns on again during the night if the temperature in the room drops below 14 degrees. And then at 5 a.m. it turns on and brings the temperature up to 21 degrees so when I get out of bed everything is toastie - this kind of programming is a brilliant. I was a bit sceptical about the units ability to read air quality but as it turns out it's not a gimmick in actually does read it and apparently quite effectively. For example when I am running my bbq smoker outside and I open the back door on the house the unit immediately registers the smoke in the house and the related particles floating around. It also detects any time we use an air freshener or aerosol or have any sort of door or window open it's really quiet interesting to see. I really can't say that this heater has reduced the amount of pollutants in my home or reduced any odours from my pets or anything like that because I simply don't have an objective way to test these things. I can't say I have noticed a difference, whilst the graphs do show the air quality improved overnight, this happens whether or not the heater is on because you are simply doing less stuff and there is less environmental pollution at this time anyway so I can not suggest that there has been an improvement in terms of actual air quality only the ability to read it. The heater in typical dyson fashion looks modern and sleek, is low noise and doesn't have the usually rattly bearing and shaft sound of your typical economy range heaters. The air flow out of the heater is actually quite strong and has enough projection to push across even a large lounge area and with the unit being able to swing almost an entire 360° you can be sure that you can cover just about any reasonable space in your home.

Aesthetically nice to live with, great app support, unsure of clinical usefulness.
As part of the ProductReview Ambassador program, I’d been asked to review this Dyson Air Purifier – a product class I hadn’t seriously considered previously. The context of it’s use is worth mentioning, which involves a large 2-storey house, located in a semi-rural area, with vineyards adjoining our house block, a small dog, a cockatiel (indoors), and 3 teenage kids. Thanks to my amazing wife, our house is “display-home” clean the majority of the time. The main factors that I could identify that might usually affect indoor air qual...

Quiet and Comfortable Heating, Cooling and More
First off - let me say that I was sent this product to review as part of the productreview Ambassador program.
Right out of the box, you can tell that this is a quality product. It feels heavy and strong and well weighted. There is a small amount of assembly required, to install the twin clam-shell shaped HEPA filters that are housed in the base under a couple of covers. and that's it. It couldn't be simpler, there are ample pictures/stickers to guide you through the process.
First thing you notice is how cool this thing looks. It reminds me ...of some sort of virtual assistant or robot! I half expected it to start talking! Once plugged in, there is a tiny remote included to switch the unit on, but conveniently, there is also a simple on/off button located on the front of the base to switch it on without it. The remote can also be secured to the top of the unit via a magnet so you are less likely to misplace it. Its these little conveniences that set this product apart. You can tell that the designers are passionate about their job. The controls are super-simple to work out, without even looking at the manual. Without even touching anything else, you can just press the 'Auto' function and let the fan do the rest.

It heats. It cools. It purifies. It blows. HARD. And it does it all very well!
The HP07 is marketed as the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool Purifying Fan Heater. It is exactly as it states. It is essentially a fan that doubles as a heater as well as a cooler, with an integrated air purifying function that seems to do exactly what it states.
This is the 2nd Dyson product that I’ve had the pleasure of testing and reviewing, and after 4 weeks of solid use, I can safely say I would be very happy purchasing this particular unit. The Dyson HP07 is one of 3 offerings in Dyson’s Purifier range, sitting alongside the Purifier Hot+Cool For...maldehyde, and the Purifier Cool fan heaters. It came packaged nice and firm in the usual Dyson fashion, set in recyclable cardboard with not too much plastic waste, and there’s even a leaflet with QR code / URL included which links to an online user manual, registration, troubleshooting tips, replacement parts etc. allowing for the purchaser to choose how they wish the utilise their product. A really nice touch re: user manual and a nod to responsible waste management. Once removed from the box, the only thing I had to do was insert the filters, plug it in and turn it on. This is done via 1 of 3 ways … via a single physical button on the front of the unit, via the supplied remote control, or via the Dyson Link app found on Play or iTunes. Initial pairing with the unit and your device is via Bluetooth, and once done, the app connects via your WiFi to the unit, so you can control the fan from anywhere within wifi range. Dyson have done an excellent job here with design of their app (Android in the least) including an in built virtual remote emulating the physical remote. I’m not going to go in depth except to say that it’s very functional and with relevant information at hand at each click/swipe. You can also connect it up and control with voice commands via Amazon Alexa, Google Home or Apple Siri. The fan stands about 60cm tall and has a footprint about 25cm’s, and is very stable during use. Oscillation is via a ball like mechanism, and you can angle the fan both forward and back on this mech about 15 degrees. Warranty on the fan is 12 months, this does not include the filter. The fan is quite simple to operate. It has an LCD screen on the front of the unit below the power button which displays readouts of all the below functions, as follows: On/Off Temperature Up/Down – 0 to 37 degrees Airflow Speed Up/Down – standstill to blow ya socks off!
How did not have it before!
After getting a quick delivery of the Dyson air purifier the setup was very easy as instructions are clear to assemble it.
I suffer from asthma since childhood and I am allergic to dust and other things, for this reason use a robotic vacuum which runs twice in the day. Since I got the air purifier Which I run during when I get home, I can sense a difference on the air between the bedroom where the purifier is running and the rest of the house.
I am very light sleeper so a bit of noise bothers me and been most of issues with fans, the Dyson ru...ns very quietly that I even doubt is running until I put my hand on the air flow path. The app to control the purifier from the phone is very easy to manage and very simple, on it you can adjust speed, oscillation angle, temperature to run to cool or heat up, app also tells you how the quality of the air around you is. I have labrador dogs and have noticed that the air purifier picks up the dog smell and starts to work when the dog is in the room. What a great thing! I also have noticed that I get a much better sleep and wake up refreshed! So far I am very happy with the Dyson Air purifier!! Wonder why did not get one before!

A supersized hairdryer that you don't have to hold and cleans the air that you breathe!
*** First Impressions ***
I have owned one of the first Dyson air purifiers for a few years for a number of reasons, we had some mould/damp issues in the bedroom, my wife has hay fever and I Asthma. We originally only purchased the cool version without the heater, but we soon regretted that in winter. It would have been super useful to have a portable heater for a few rooms that we don't have ducted air conditioning in or when we didn't want the expense of using the air conditioning to heat just a single room.
Therefore I was very excited to ...see how the heat function worked and also the new upgrades and features that I'm sure the Dyson elves must have added over the years. The first I noticed on arrival was that it was way more compact than my existing fan (the really high loop) which I knew would make it easier for me (and my wife) to move around when needed. The packaging was everything you'd expect from a premium brand such a Dyson and it was very simple to put together, although the filters were a little fiddly to get to click in properly. It was also much easier to connect my phone to the device that I recall with my existing part, the hardest part was disposing of all the packaging (a surprising amount of plastic and cardboard for such a small product, albeit delicate and expensive so the cardboard was understandable at least. Another noticeable difference was that the fan part of the device not only pivots left to right, but it is also tiltable! This is something we really wished our first device had so the air could be directed to the required height when sleeping. But come close, it gets better....the new version also has a diffusion mode which in layman's terms means you can direct the air out the back so you don't have a cold breeze hitting you in the chops as you sleep and wafting your hair around like you'd fallen asleep with your head out the car window (don't try this at home kids, it's dangerous). It also has improved fancy-sounding technical stuff like the following that sounds way fancier than I recall so that must mean they're better:

It’s what you’d expect from Dyson
Dyson strives for the top end market, so it’s always aesthetically pleasing to look at, I mean, who else would make a fan with no blades? Given the right circumstances this heater/fan/air purifier will do a good job, but it’s limited to an apartment or bedroom, because the average Australian open plan living room is too big for it to do the most efficient job. I was given it to try in winter which is not ideal. I have a big lounge room (60sq) that I can close off with French doors and usually I use a reverse cycle air conditioner but it does ge...t very hot quickly, even though it’s temperature controlled, this machine took quite a while to heat, about 30 minutes unlike the air conditioner, which takes about 10, so although we didn’t get warmer quickly it did warm us eventually and we didn’t get too hot overall, it did struggle to keep the room warm, but it is a big room with 3 metre ceilings, and it’s just about all glass, even though they are covered with blinds and thick curtains. So a normal lounge would probably be ok. I tried it in my ensuite which is 4 metres long by 2metres wide with an exhaust fan on and it was ok. Even though it’s winter, I’ve tried the fan just to hear how loud it is and to feel how far it would reach and I really think it would be great in summer, I like that the lights go out if you have it in your bedroom so that it doesn’t disturb your sleep and it’s quiet whilst it’s on the night setting. So I’ll probably use it a lot in summer. What I really wanted to test this machine out for though was the air purifier as my house is currently going through renovations and my lounge room has just had 100+ year old recycled jarrah floor boards put down and had about 7 hours of sanding done to them, so my house has had quite a bit of jarrah dust through out. In the last year, a bathroom, laundry and toilet has been replaced as well and we also found out that we had water damage in our roof, so I was interested in seeing how much the purifier picked up the dust and pollens ect in the air. My house has been thoroughly cleaned and cleaned, but I was curious as to how much dust or mould or anything was still lingering as I do occasionally get a runny nose when I enter my lounge room which is from allergies to the jarrah dust. Surprisingly the machine registers nothing in the lounge room, it stays a constant nothing even when I vacuum using (a Dyson) near it, so I’m guessing jarrah dust doesn’t register as a nasty even though it’s as dangerous as asbestos! But it does register in my ensuite which is where I have had a leak in my roof and was supposedly fixed by a roof plumber, so after winter, I will get that looked at again. I have one problem with the machine and that is it has no handle, it says not to carry it around through the round blade part, but it’s difficult to pick up cause there’s nothing to grab on to, so if you need to pick it up and take it to other rooms, how do you transport it? Clearly it’s meant to be just put in one spot and left there, but what if you want to move it as I did, it’s clumsy and this has not been thought through. Yes, it may hurt the aesthetic, but I’m sure they could design some snazzy bit to make it look ok instead of having to lug it from the bottom all the time.

Cool Unit, Brilliant App. At a Price!
I was given this Dyson Air Purifier by Product Review to test and review. I rate the Dyson H07 between 4 and 5 stars. So here's a comprehensive report:
The Dyson Air Purifier Heating and Cool is fun to use. Not what would instantly come to mind for a room purifier and heater/cooling fan. It comes with an expensive price tag, so it needs to be impressive. The HEPA and Carbon filters should last 12 months and list price for HEPA replacement is $99.
The unit is compact, stylish and stable (hard to knock over). The functionality of the phone a...

So lets be honest from the start. This unit was provided to me by product review to assess and report on. Please don't think that changes my opinion one way or the other.
My first impression was how heavy the box was, however, on opening the box I found very solid packaging keeping the product safe inside.
On removing the fan I found it too was quite heavy for a fan but this just means it won't be easily knocked over by children or dogs running around the house. It's not TOO heavy.
It takes a small amount of assembly. Nothing too difficult how...

I was sent this machine in order to do a review on it for the product review website.
The machine seems quite “plasticky” with a lot of plastic parts. It’s quite easy to pull out of the box and put together, the filters seem to be able to go in either way (ie no up or down side to them). You have to go to the website to download the full instruction manual. The machine is quite ungainly to move/carry, as you have to move/carry it by the base.
It has A LOT of safety rules, which I wasn’t expecting, eg you can’t use it with an extension cord,...as that can be a fire hazard. You can’t put the cable under furniture. I realise it’s a heater, which means you can’t use it within a metre of any textiles, curtains, or any other flammable material but given its size, and all the rules around its use, it’s fairly impractical for me with the size of my home, the layout of my home (lots of flammable furnishings, rugs, etc) and the size of my dogs. Essentially, you need to treat the machine the same way would use a candle!! The machine isn’t very large, and I wouldn’t feel confident of it being safe to use around my pets, as I think they could easily knock it over. There is physically nowhere I would feel comfortable to place it and use it, if I wasn’t in the room at all times when it was on when using heating mode, as I would be concerned my (medium sized) dogs could run past it and knock it over, potentially starting a fire. I also don’t like the fact that they recommend you sit it out in the middle of the room so that it can work to it’s fullest potential. That just makes the room look ugly and creates a trip hazard. It doesn’t do a good job of heating in larger, open plan spaces. It does a great job of heating in a small sized room (eg average size bedroom) even though I couldn’t put it somewhere safely, or not within a metre of any other object (as recommended). However, when I set it to reach a particular temperature (22 degrees) when it was at 19 degrees to start with, in a small room with the door closed, it didn’t reach the set temperature of 22 degrees within 30 minutes and then switch off like I thought it would – and the room felt stiflingly hot. The next time I tried to test this, the temperature was set to reach 21 degrees. After a while it finally reached that temperature and the fan dropped to speed 1, and the air coming from it felt like it was trying to cool the room even though it was on heat. I opened the door to the room and a few minutes later the fan kicked in again (but was still showing as being on level 1, but was much noisier).

Style, Performance and Function are perfect with the HP07.
We're a family of 5 with our middle child being born in a HIE condtion and spent her first 6 months in ICU. As a result winters have been a difficult time for her trying to cope with a range of respiratory anomalies that have largely been difficult to medically diagnose.
We've tried humidifiers, dehumidifiers, salt lamps, cool medicated mist diffusers and so on with varying degrees of success but in most part offering negligible difference.
Now the Dyson HP07. As with other devices I was sceptical, however it's performance is simply fantast...ic. The unit itself is whisper quiet and doesn't make a single sound during operation and oscillation. The real-time data air quality and analysis data is like nothing I've seen before. Basic functionality and AQM data is available on the unit itself but the Dyson App is next level in everyway. From the app, not only can you remotely control it while away from home, the in-depth air quality information is fantastic. One particular Friday, I mowed the lawn on the ride-on round the house. Check my photos for the result. The the actual filtration efficiency is the best I've experienced. This winter my daughter hasn't had the coughing fits that have plagued her for years. We have it set up to heat and oscillate this winter in the hallway for the kids bedrooms. It's set up on a timed operation to start and stop at intervals during the day and night with the AQM monitoring mode set to continuous. The heating and cooling functions round off this appliance which has become vital to one of my kids daily health and a comforting air purifier for the whole family.

Is it a purifier? Is it a heater? Is it a fan? No...it's all of these rolled into one with some added bells & whistles.
In the spirit of full disclosure; I have been provided this product for review by productreview.com.au.
I have a dyson v11 stick vac.
Any smoking is done outside but we have 2 dog, one that loves shedding fur inside the house.
Now that is over - here comes the review.
My Short Assessment:
This is a well designed air purifier with a better than average fan heater and the recognizable Dyson style.
Comparing the price to fan heaters is foolish - this is not a fan heater, and it shouldn't be comparable to a $100 or $200 item.
Comparing the price to an air purifier - you may be paying a small premium but getting so much more.
The purifier's measurement of Air Quality is informative, some may suggest it is 'too much'....

It’s more than “just” a fan, it's a work of art!
Made to impress, the unboxing experience was Apple like, all components were in clear view in recyclable bags with clear instructions on how to assemble/ fit the filters. The Dyson was vertical and ready to plug in within a few minutes. The first thing I noticed is the fan can be tilted so if floor standing the air can be directed at someone sitting rather than putting the unit on a desk.
The Dyson fan comes with a simple remote that i found later is magnetic and can be stored safely on top of the fan, the remote controls the fan speed, direc...tion of air, temperature settings, timer and night mode. But if you want all the cool stuff the Dyson can be connected to your home or office network and can controlled by your phone by downloading the app for IOS or Android with Alexa support. The app installation is quite easy and also allows you to register and activate your warranty. So what is the cool stuff, using the app firstly you input your suburb and you’re the air quality for your location is displayed. The fan oscillation can be set in degrees to either cool or have hot air blown directly onto you or the whole room and can be instantly adjusted. The Dyson has two modes the front of the fan can send air directional or if you chose the reverse direction for the air flow the air is more dispersed and cools a larger area. The heating mode can be set and controlled either by the phone app or by the handy small remote allowing you to set and forget to your desired temperature which is displayed on the small display on the Dyson fan which I loved. The Dyson measures the air quality of the room while running and the small display provide a clear indication of the current air quality and graphs the level. Mounted in the base are the HEPA filters which removes pollen, bacteria and fine dust particles making the unit ideal for those who suffer from airborne allergies and asthma. I found the Dyson quiet on the minimum settings up to about 3 and you could feel the airflow as a gentle breeze, yes it does get noisy at the top of the range but no noisier than a room air-conditioner. The Dyson certainly can pump out the heat when in heat mode and with the powerful airflow warm a room quiet quickly. So is it just a fan? No the Dyson can be controlled by your phone, the remote or Alexa. It heats and filters the air in night mode turns all LCD and lights off, can be set to turn its self on or off via the timer programme and funnily enough movers air without the buffeting. The unit is kid safe as there are no moving parts for little fingers to get into and it looks so dam cool in any room.

HP07 model is an all round star
Like most product review readers, I read the comments about a product I’m interested in and conduct my own research prior to buying such a product. With that said and understood this is ultimately a fan forced unit so I wasn’t expecting (like some comments) a heater capable of scorching a room or a refrigerator in my home for that you have central/ducted heating, wood fire place etc. or refrigerating a room like a split system or ducted air conditioner.
This unit purifiers and heats a room really well ( I haven’t tried to sweat in 37degrees a...s 22 is hot enough for me) and the cool function gives you that how would I describe it.... a wonderful ocean breeze on a stinking hot day, it’s really a satisfying feeling. Things I like; - purifies, heats and cools all in one product no need for additional heat, cold or air purification units - wifi connects (can’t tell you enough how sensible and useful that is, I don’t even worry about the remote as I always have my phone with me) - The user can control everything via remote or the Dyson link app(as above point) and everyone else in the household can connect the unit - Live Data coming form the HP07 continuous monitoring (if you want it on that is) showing you any spikes and what times relating to temp, air pollutants etc. - Remote activation of the unit within a wifi signal (like when you arrive home just turn it on from your car, by the time you come in, get settled, your room will be to your desired temperature (so good)

Questions & Answers
I bought a dyson hot and cool fan [Serial Number Removed] recently.
I want this mainly as a heater. It heats very efficiently up to the set temperature but then starts to blow out cold air. I want it to shut down until the room temperature drops and then click back in to heating mode. Am I doing something wrong?
For a Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool, the machine may still work to purify the room if set to the auto mode if the air temperature target has been met, but the air quality target has not been.
To disregard the air quality target, please manually set the fan speed and the machine will only work to maintain the air quality. That being said, after the target temperature is reached, the fan in the machine still still spin slowly to monitor the air temperature.
