I had my Dyson 7 for only 2 months and I have had to send it in for repair. I am very disappointed because today I used my Melie and its so much stronger, should
I have ordered a Dyson 8,9,10?
I feel cheated after all the carry on " how good a dyson is" I'm certainly not convinced.

I would like to know how long it will be till I get it back and will it work better. Actually when I first got I thought it had been used as the wand had scuff marks all over it.
The operator I spoke for 3/4 of an hour was lovely but that's beside the point. I not at all happy with my purchase. I appreciate it if you look into my issue and resolve the problem.

What is the point of saying to register your machine online when it clearly doesn’t work...have tried on several occasions and checked the serial number each time but it says it’s an invalid seri al number ..we bought a V7 stick vacuum from Aldi in Kingaroy on the 19/12/2019...serial number as I am reading it now is G3B-AU-MJR7927A.....can you help ???

We have 2 Dyson vacuum cleaners a sv03 and dc59 , we charge them both for up to 24nours and then when we go to use iboth last 1 minute and cut off .this is the second time I have submitted the same complaint but have not received a reply .

tried to call dyson this morning, told to go to website bad service to have a call centre and no one to answer your question. I have a dyson V6 it is 16 months old and when I put it on the charger it wont charge and a red light flashes the booklet tells me to contact the customer service which I tried to do please contact me with reguards to my complaint. Qi have a Dyson cinetic big ball vacuum. I am greatly disappointed in the machine. It is so flimsy, especially the mechanism to empty the barrel. Now it would seem that the mechanised head has stopped rotating. We have checked it and found no reason for this. There are NO blockages. I purchased this machine, because my old Dyson was constantly needing new filters, despite rinsing them (in the end) after every use. We thought we would upgrade????? Mistake! Have emailed them, with no reply. Tried the phone, but the waits are ridiculous. How do I resolve an issue with them? The cost for,us of this machine IS a kings ransom. We simply cannot afford to ditch it (though would like to).

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with the Turbine head for your machine. We would first recommend to run through the checks outlined on https://www.dyson.com.au/support/cy23_new/dyson-cinetic-big-ball-animal/my-machine-is-not-working/floor-tool-is-not-working-correctly/turbine-head-not-working/strong-check-the-turbine-head.

Should the issue persist we would recommend to try contacting our helpline again on 1800 239 766. As Monday was a public holiday we were closed meaning when we re-opened yesterday the wait time was a lot higher than normal as we were also handling the previous days queries. If you call now there is no wait time.

Alternatively, please feel free to email auaskdyson@dyson.com and you will receive a same day response if the email is sent within our business hours.

I have a Dyson hand held vacuum, when I try to charge it the red light stays on and it’s not charging/doesn’t work. I was wandering what the life of the batteries are and could it need replacing?

I am sorry to hear you are having trouble with your Dyson machine. A red light on a DC58, DC59 or V6/V7/V8 machine does indicate a fault within the machine, however I am confident we will be able to help.

In terms of a expected life of the battery, while we do engineer our batteries to the same high standard of our machine, like all batteries, they do have a limited lifespan and will need to be replaced. This being said, replacement can easily be done at home with no need to send the machine away for service.

How can I purchase a battery for my v6 absolute when the resellers do not stock the batteries and Dyson website for spare parts claims they are out of stock? All I can find online are non genuine items ex Hong Kong with a 4-6 weeks delivery. Help before I go crazy. Frank (Gold Coast)

sorry, I know of no other way. Their public relations and after sales service is the worst I have ever come across. Don't think it will be quicker calling on the weekend because its 10 times worse. Try calling first thing in the morning on a weekday you should get to talk to someone within 20-30 minutes.

As mentioned in previous posts, in my opinion their vacuum cleaners are over engineered, ineffective and overpriced. Worst after sales service in the world, they try and make it sound like a privilege that you own $2000 worth of their garbage and should be thankful they speak to you at all. Don't upset them or they'll cancel your warranty. Con artists who spend more time talking up their product than building something that works and keeps working. They will never see one red cent of my money again.

Not that I'm aware of. Answer time in Europe sounds somewhat better than Australia - but more importantly, when you do get through, just hope that you'll link with someone competent. I was told that the motor on my vacuum had packed up and effectively scrapped my machine. Subsequently, I was lucky enough to reach a qualified and helpful person who diagnosed a much simpler fault, which we resolved on the spot.
Seems extraordinary that such a prestige brand doesn't make a better effort to get its after sales service up to scratch.

According to him (my in-law), the machine stopped working inexplicably, he checked for blockages and found nothing which I can confirm.
It is very surprising and most frustrating that the motor had to be replaced only 2 months out of warranty on a $800 machine???
Not what I was expecting from such a reputable brand.
