Very Poor Customer Service
Purchased a dishwasher which arrived in a faulty condition. Emailed E&S back and forth for 3 months to try receive the replacement part. In the end We were advised that it would be our cost as apparetly it was broken from usage (We reported the broken part on the day we received the dishwasher). Would never use them again. Would recommend evryone else to avoid E&S where possible
E&S for less
Went to E&as on three separate occasions. Willing to spend $20,000. Wasn’t greeted at reception and was on all three occasions ignored.
Poor after service support
Having bought a GE Fridge on the advise of the E&S salesman telling us the quality and reliability of the product was unquestionable. We were prepared to pay a premium on the basis of this advice. The fridge arrived dented and damaged. They replaced it with a replacement GE fridge. This GE fridge was 4 months old when E&S advised they were no longer selling or supporting the product. We have had ongoing issues with the poor quality of the fridge, cracked drawers. When approaching E&S the Chadstone store suggested we google someone for help !! I...have emailed & left a message on their on line feedback to their Managing Director - no response. I have had previous dealings with them which have been good but this experience will see my buy from the Good Guys or Camberwell Electrics in the future. The most disappointing retail experience I have had & not to even get an email back .........
Poor customer service Miele dishwasher
Catalogue special for Miele dishwasher, attempted to I store at Essendon. Sales person couldn’t find item which was on sale in the current catalogue, after spending 45 minutes in the store, waiting, Was told, sorry we got the catalogue price wrong!!! How about honouring your price? I’m disgusted to find E&S have 3 pages of ‘ mistakes’ & apologies from their current catalogue.... so much for your slogan “ we won’t be beaten on Price” you can’t even get prices right!!
I found e&s irresponsible about my order.
When I bought a fridge online, it was available on the website. After receiving emails in about 2 weeks, e&s delayed the delivery. When I called e&s today, realised there will be more delay and the person on the phone said we maybe receive it at end of this month. When I asked the reason she said talk to sales department and hanged the line. If you do not have the product why you sell it, or why it doesn’t show it is not available on the website???
So much for the E&S experience - very disappointed!
Found an item (Dishwasher) I wanted on the E&S website - stated as being available.
I called my closest store to arrange pickup and after a huge wait on-hold music (all about the E&S experience) my call was finally taken.
Was told that I could pick up a unit at distribution centre - however, after I requested a price match to another seller (as they clearly state they won't be beaten) all the units were suddenly allocated and they said they couldn't help me and hung up on me!!!

Dont Trust what they tell you. Buyer be warned
E&S will make all the promises in the world, until it comes to get the deliveries. Then you will start getting the messages that items are not in stock. We placed an order for a whole kitchen and laundry of appliances and were told everything was in stock. The day before delivery, we got notification that items were delayed by 6-weeks. Our whole renovation had to be placed on hold. All we got from them was excuses.
Don't Use Them
I called to ask if they sell a particular model of a double kitchen sink. They said they would get back to me and they did not. If you need a double kitchen sink you will be better off buying a second hand one from a demolition yard which is what I did and I recommend anyone out there to do the same.
Very Poor Service
We purchased a dishwasher, two ovens, plate warmer and a cooktop, about $14K. The microwave developed a fault 4 weeks ago, spoke to customer service and was told that Siemens would be in touch. After hearing nothing for two weeks rang them back, they could not find the request. Lodged it a second time and was told Siemens would be in touch with in 48 hours, 10 days later no call. Rang and had the request escalated and were told someone would ring the next day. Our second siemens oven now has a fault, 4 days later rang up again. Then got a call...back from the manager and someone else. Booked in for 10 days time. unfortunately we have a dinner party in 5 days. There is no way I'd recommend E&S based on this customer service, guys how hard is it to get an item fized under warranty.
Overpriced for bad quality
Bought a $2200 vanity. No overflow kit was included. When I returned to the store the salesman stated it doesn’t need one. Needless to say it did. The lack of knowledge in the products caused a waste of time and money. Will never buy from here again
Worst customer care ever!
Purchased an Electrolux fridge which gets delivered damaged. I’m immediately told that someone from after sales will get in contact with me in 48 business hours. It took over a week to get a response and it seemed that they were trying to avoid fixing the fridge.
I had to argue with a rude after sales assistant in order to have the fridge replaced. So after that I receive a text message confirming delivery of new fridge with time window of two hours.
I waited almost for 2 hours and half and nobody showed up.

Negligent and poor response to warranty claim
I purchased a $400 Oliverti tap from E&S. When the plumber installed it, he discovered the tap was leaking due to a fault in the tap. I reported it to E&S on the same day, and was told Olivery would follow up within 48 hours to book a service call. After 3 days, i called E&S to check if this was properly logged with Oliveri, but was told that it wasnt logged and there was no record of my call. I was promised that it would be properly logged by Frank the store manager at Chadstone, and that Oliveri would call me the next day. THe next day came a...nd went, i never received a call from Oliveri or E&S. So another day lost in the process of simply logging the call with Oliveri. I was furious that the issue was ignored and not followed up on properly as E&S promised. Not impressed.
What a Circus (E&S)
We went in to Preston E&S and bought a Dryer. We were told that because we were stacking it on top of a Bosch washer we needed to buy a Bosch dryer. We had this delivered and the installer informed us that we should have been sold a stacking kit. The salesman didn't mention this. We went back and bought the stacking kit which would be installed. The installers came again and told us then that the washing machine we had would not support the stacking of the new dryer. Off we went again and bought a new washing machine. Delivery man came without ...being told he would need to install the stacking kit and dryer on top of the washing machine. He contacted the E&S Logistics and was told that they would arrange installation and call us back to tell us what was going to happen. We waited for a call from the installers, not forthcoming. We rang E&S Preston several times before we could get hold of the Manager to try to sort this out. He rang soon after after to say that the installers were on their way but they forgot to contact us. In the end everything was installed.
Recently went to the Moorabbin. Were looking at NOBO wall heaters. Asked the assistant (who was on their mobile) for some if they were suitable for bathrooms. The assistant guessed a "no" but we then noticed a big sign and technical spec on the wall which mentioned they were ideal. Then she went off to "double check with a colleague" and came back with a "yes".
Terrible delivery service
We bought all the items for renovation of two bathrooms. While the staff at the store was nice and helpful, staff at the warehouse were unhelpful and at times rude. To begin with they did not deliver according to the agreed time. When we contacted them to see what was happening, the lady at the ware house was very rude. Once the items were delivered the next day we found out one was a wrong product. Staff at the showroom then corrected it and told us it will be delivered today around 8 am. It arrived at 4.30 pm but only to find out that they h...ave sent half of the toilet!! I rang the store and then they contacted the warehouse. I have been told the warehouse manager will contact us today to discuss this. I am not sure when this will be sorted. It is really frustrating. I will never go with E&S in future.
FRIDGE HAD A DINT IN IT, BEEN WAITING 2 MONTHS STILL NO FRIDGE, NO UPDATES KEEP HAVING TO CHASE
Terrible terrible customer service. Fridge came with a dint in it. Been waiting 2 months for the fridge, still don't have it. Keep having to call for updates and when I call they don't call back. Barely even sorry. I was recommended this company but I would not recommend it to anyone. SHOCKING CUSTOMER SERVICE. Nothing was even offered to me I HAD TO ASK for a discount which was not worth it and so I am now still waiting for my new replacement fridge 2 months later....
Poor New Hope Support
We have purchased Duravit toilet from E&S through our builder. As per the builders policy post handover the accountability and warranty stays with E&S. We have been experiencing multiple issues with the installation from day 1 of the handover. We have approached E&S for rectification and they passed on to their supplier Bathe. We do not have a problem if either of the companies are responsive to our issue. It has been nearly three months and we still have not got the toilet fixed. Every time we call E &S new home support we are told that they will contact their supplier but never get back with a response.
Promised 4 days, took 3 weeks!
DFO at Essendon. Don't go near it unless you look like a contestant from the Block or you are constantly dropping $100 notes on the floor if you want any help from the sales assistants. Whenever you approached someone, they would tell you they were busy. I think because we weren't dressed in label clothing and carrying an iPad, no one wanted to talk to us.
When we finally got hold of someone and they realised that we had money to spend, they were nice as pie, agreed to match an online price we had found for the oven we wanted, AND PROMISED A 4...
Extremely disappointed and frustrated with e & s trading, ordered all appliances for kitchen Reno 2 and 1/2 months ago, we were only told that there was a delayed on the fridge which was fine re time frames......Reno has started TODAY and we still have no set delivery date re oven, after multiple ph calls told something different each time, extremely frustrated and very disappointing service.

E&S trading are disgusting!! Ordered a fridge, washer and dryer 2 years ago for a brand new apartment we were having built. We have just moved in and there were huge delays with the washer and dryer and now theyre saying another 3 month wait for the fridge!! Everytime i have called to ask about how far my appliances are off being delivered, i get lied to. First one week, then 10 days and then when it hasnt areived and i call again i get told another few weeks! Theyre useless. They sold our pre ordered fridge to someone else and gave us a loan f...ridge and are trying to charge us $900 for the loan fridge! The fridge os disgusting and dinted. I also had a customer care consultant and spoke with her on sunday then when i went into the store on monday to speak with her, she had left her job! Over night? Seems like an excuse to me. Everytime i get told ill be called back, i never have been. They are useless and terrible with customer service. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO ELSEWHERE!!
