This is the second machine I've bought, what a great trimmer, just chews through thick branches, has a 3foot blade, you can cover the ground so easy, has a sweeper arm as well, great for tops of hedges. both machines never given me any expense yet, but done heaps of work. just great for the finer hedges, there blades stay soo sharp, even after years of work. echo is a good brand, bit expensive, but you get what you pay for. Wouldn't buy anything else.

Purchased in June 2012 for $699.00.

Good for the rough stuff

A heavyweight for cutting through thicker stuff and overgrown hedges, but lacks precision for the finer jobs. A good tool to have for out of control gardens. The rotating handles were a good idea, coming in useful for different angles and shapes. The exhaust fumes start to get to you after a while, but thats the nature of the beast I suppose. Very reliable, and little maintenance trouble.
