I don’t think I have ever been so disappointed at having to return an item to the manufacturer. Essentially, I like the Ecosa. It was easy to organise onto the bed, it inflated to its normal size fairly quickly. There was minimal outgassing, and that was gone within a few hours. I’ve had several excellent sleeps on it, and I found it really supportive in the places that mattered to me. No sagging so far. Sounds good, right?

Read more years) of spinal disc problems and so when my back started tightening up, I wasn't concerned because I was sure the mattress would help me recover. Sadly, it has not. In fact, my back pain has worsened, the more time I spend in bed. I don’t know why this is. Let me say this... the mattress did not cause the problem, but it is definitely delaying recovery. I’d heartily recommend this mattress to anyone who does not have an existing back problem (or hips, too, for that matter). It really is comfy (very firm) and easy to move around on (unlike the last I had which became a bit of a nightmare)... but.... if you have physical problems, this mattress probably will not help. When trying to return after the 14 days, called 9 times and left several voicemails over the week and no response. Their phone number has now disappeared from their website. Dodgy and would never order from them again.

I have had health beds mattresses before, which have been perfect, and other memory foam and latex ones. I replaced this after ours got lost in shipping. It arrived with a slight fault (tuft sticking out) a few hours before a $50 reduction deal, which was annoying as I could have sent it back. I have been sick with migraine and neck and back pain in less than a week of using this - it is as hard as a brick and terrible for anyone with slipped discs or the like. I can't wait until the 14 day trial is over to send it back as the pain is intolerable. Worst mattress ever. Also extremely hot.

Read more The Ecosa mattress is built to be firm enough for great back support, also soft on your shoulders and hips. It allows the mattress to shape to your body and release pressure. It will soften over time with continued use. Please send us an email if you're still having issues with it so we can assist you accordingly.It's as hard as a brick and has caused major pain. The mattress is supposed to be softer on medium firmness and it’s still rock hard because I’ve had it for over 100 days but only slept on it for abit over 2 months they wont refund and take it back , very professional from this company

Bought mattress in their end of financial year sale. Got it a month later as i set a different delivery date (had to get rid of old one). Slept on it for about 2 weeks, hurting my shoulder and back - it's firm as heck. Tried soft setting, a mattress protector and all the other things they emailed me to try. Wanted to just refund it and get my money back to buy a proper mattress.
HOLY COW now thats when the pain began. I'm not sure what arrangement ECOSA has with the Salvos but they almost tried every conceivable possible thing to reject accept...

And the other time a "stain" due to me having to move it to the front of the house so the driver can grab it without knocking over everything in my house. FYI. I used 2 mattress protectors, bed sheets from Kmart, a mattress topper of my own and i had it plastic wrapped for the driver. The so called stain came off with a dry cloth cloth. They really try every possible method to not pick the damn thing up so they dont have to process a refund. There's about 3 weeks left before my 100 night trial ends (not sure if it starts from date of purchase or delivery). Maybe theyre trying to delay it so they can say it's pass the return period. TLDR: Avoid this mattress - they will do everything they can to not refund you. Will update for rest of refund process.Purchased in for $750.

Read moree at one stage. The Salvation Army men collected the mattress this morning at 11am, and at 2.20pm I received notification that my full refund had been processed. Notification from both Ecosa, and Paypal. Now I’ll just have to wait until commbank sees fit to release the funds to me. Well done, Ecosa!
