Mapping Doesn't work _ Gets lost constantly even in a small apartment.
I just got my T8 from JB HIFI as it was finally on sale.
I have been having all sorts of issues.
It can't find the Charging Station. despite finally mapping the small apartment (after 4 attempts) its location to the map is always wrong so might be why its getting lost. This is also not good when you set up virtual boundaries and no mop zones because if it thinks its in the right location but isn't, this could affect it performance.
Also it doesn't charge with the mop cartirdge installed so you can't even programme it to do certain areas at ce...
Read morertain days because you have to actually be home to insert the mop cartridge. IT SURELY DOESNT SAY this in the marketing material. Am very disappointed in the clumsiness of this machine so far. What puts this above the $100 versions is its proported intelligence and mapping system, however I have yet to see this work correctly. Ill give it a few days before I return it for a full refund. Its not even worth the $599 if it doesn't do that stuff.Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi Online Store for $583.

Best thing I have ever bought
I have researched robot vacuums for years and never settled on one. I finally chose the Ecovac Deebot OSMO t8 and I do not regret it one bit. I have a triple coated dog, three kids, carpet and tile and this little machine free's up so much time for me!
Purchased in at JB Hi-Fi for $599.
