Mopping is dysfunctional and further dirtys the floors

Vaccuuming is fine, if you set it up in a corner it should follow a nice back to forth path… some of the time.

Mopping however works well 20% of the time. For some reason when the mopping plate is on it loses all its intelligence. The idea of the mopping is that there is a constant water flow being dragged around the floors. If the vac stops or makes turns water will still flow out.

So most of the time, the vac will begin turning on the spot, drowning in its own water. The tyres get wet and it cannot drive anywhere and I end up with a giant dirt puddle Show details

Regret this purchase. Awful customer service

ECOVAC does not comply with their ACL. They do not have or provide options to purchase replacement parts for a vacuum that developed a faulty charger 2 years after purchase. Their idea of support is to email every second day promising to get back to me in 3-5 days to resolve the issue. I basically have a large paper weight, the vacuum is useless as it cannot charge. Very efficient tracking electronics. It travels back and forth and does not miss anything

Mainly hard floors with rugs. Found it cleans very well. The dust bin is a bit awkward to remove and clean, however, it cleans a lot better than a previous robot vacuum of different brand which failed after 3 years. The drive mechanism stripped and no parts were available to fix it.. Very happy with the Ecovacs. Show details

Love it

My first ever robot vacuum so I didn't want expensive or anything too technical.
I bought a Deebot U2 pro.
It comes heaps of extras including pet cleaning accessories.
It is way simple to use for this old girl with no bells and whistles and I absolutely love it.
I have a 4 bedroom house all wood floors and 6 cats, it has no problem doing the lot before recharge battery drains in just over 2 hours on the normal mode. On low low suction it picks up everything including bits of litter. It has anti collision sensors so I don't have to run around picking up food/water bowls first.
I am surprised how quite it is.
I have not used the mop feature.
My floors look amazing ❤️❤️ Show details ·  1
