Worst after delivery support on structural warranty
I got my house build and delivered by 2019 Aug.We submitted our warranty support issues by Jan as their app was not working. But by the time they started ,COVID started in 2020.But even after all the restrictions have been lifted they didn't address the issues raised in the 12 weeks warranty support. It is almost now 1.5 years, I have cracked tiles in my bathtub and cracked ceiling, which I had raised 1 year back, no one addressed it after numerous follow ups

Never buy a house from them again. Once they have your money they don’t want to know you.
We bought a new townhouse from Stockland which was built by Eden Brae in late 2019 and was a nightmare from the start. Stockland kept delaying us about 4 months late.
It has been over a year and we are still waiting to get some of these fixed. The communication is bad and the organisation of the trades coming out are terrible. Some show up and some don’t or have not been booked but I was told they have. I will never ever buy a house made by Eden Brae again. Worse company to deal with. Once they get your money they don’t want to do anything els...e. And now they won’t respond to my emails. Will be going to fair trading. Can’t wait till this is all over. All we get over the past year is a sorry and nothing more. Nothing else happens. The amount of stress and inconvenience had caused me to have depression and they are aware of this but they just don’t care. Then problems with the TV antenna not connected when Eden Brae said it was.Toilet pipes being blocked within 2 days of moving in. The backyard alfresco area concrete slab was sinking. That took about 2 months to get fixed and is still not perfect with the water sitting in one part of the tiles. Top of the stairs was loose and board under the carpet was moving a lot about 10-15mm. Then the stair guys came to fix it but as the were putting more screws in the stairs drilled the screws into the toilet ceiling downstairs.

Avoid if you can, remember to keep all the email conversations for future references!
Eden brae is very good at delaying maintenance request and when there's an issue happens again, their excuse is it's out of 24 months "minor defects" warranty. The fences including gate were installed after settlement date. I have proof that the electric gate was not working properly since installation in 2018. In 2019, Eden Brae sent someone to rectify repairs without the tenant's permission in a number of occasions, they also broke the gate in June 2019.(I have emails conversation from agent to prove this). I also have to mention the house wa...s leaking before due to incorrect installation of flashings. I highly doubt if they are using qualified tradies. The tenant is also experiencing sticky sliding glass door due to distorted frame. Now I have to sort out the defects due to their poor workmanship at my own cost and I'm in the progress of going through fair trading.

After multi times of roof leaking, i found out EBH used lots of faulty roof tiles. BE CAREFUL
I built my house with EBH back 2017, the house only 3-4 yrs old. Since then, i had few leaking roof issues in few different locations, the contractor MJH sent roofer found out EBH used many faulty crack tiles, also its a nightmare to ask EBH maintenance team to review and fix the problems.

Go Elsewhere! You'll regret it.
There are literally too many issues to list them all.
It's started off that our salesman resigned after the signed up. The sales manager personally guaranteed that he would on-site that everything that our salesman had told us would be done and that he was 100% positive our final contract would be within budget for us which we had stated we couldn't go over as it's all we had approval for.
Even the tender presenter backed out of what she said she would give us.
So after selections we get onto site.

Questions & Answers
Would you take over the build and plans of the design (modified) we went with (big mistake) with clearly one of the worst project home builders in Australia, MetriCon. What an absolute nightmare they have been!!
Hello good morning
I’m messaging you in the hope someone might help me... we are pretty sure we’ve decided on building the Sandringham 38 but it’s not on display anywhere our consultant has assured us of this...but maybe someone’s built it or got some pics to share with us???. here’s hoping thank you:))Kyra
Hi Kyra, sorry I don’t have any info on a display site, but I love the Sandringham from what I have seen online.
I am wondering if you can please share the quite you received from them? My quite came in at a touch under $500k for the 38 model.
Can anyone share their first hand experience with Eden Brae connect homes?
I built my first home with Eden Brae home 17 years ago, and while I had a few small issues, for the most part they were still very good. After 17 years and 3 growing boys, the house still looked amazing when we finally sold only a few months ago. We're looking to build another home (which is why I'm on this forum) and seems like they are still pretty good and will probably stick with Eden Brae based on our last experience and recent reviews
