Don’t get the one with a light ! Eglo themselves - Bad customer service as well

The fan itself is fine , however the light is SO bright it’s unusable , the description for product said suitable for bedroom but it’s not. We had to buy new lamps - EGLO customer service is the worst I have ever experienced , don’t bother calling them, they are rude and offer no solutions, would not recommend Show details

this fan is too slow

I bought five EGLO fans and it's too slow. Never buy any Eglo fans if you want a fan for the purpose. and the retailer refused to do any refunds and asked me to contact the manufacturer. Terrible. Show details

Best fan ever!

We've tried a great variety of fans, all claiming to be great but this one wins overall. Quiet and effective.
(Apologies that I am unaware of its efficiency as far as energy use. However, the fact that we have a quiet fan that works so well is worth its weight in gold to me. And, as far as we can see, there does not seem to be any difference with our energy bill.) Show details

Noisy, expensive and overrated, beware of false reviews

Don’t believe the good reviews, the Eglo Noosa is overpriced overrated and over noisy on any speed above 2, I believe the noise is from the small upturn at the end of the blades, it is unacceptable,
TheLucci 3 blade from Beacon Lighting is better, cheaper and much quieter and also nice looking.
The Arlec smart Madrid 52 from Bunnings is also quieter, cheaper and has a smart phone app.
No brainer, don’t waste your money on an overpriced Eglo Noosa ceiling fan. Show details

Terrible "safety feature" - do not install in a bedroom!

We bought two of these fans with integrated light for bedrooms. If you have gone to sleep with the fan on and there is a power interruption, when power is restored, the light comes blazing on, even though it was off when the power went off. I have raised this with Eglo and told it is a 'safety feature' and can't be turned off. Unsuitable for bedroom use.  Show details

Whisper quiet and elegant in our living room

We had to wait many weeks to get our fans and thankfully they arrived and were installed on Christmas Eve. A very hot humid summer ensued. We had the fans on constantly for a few weeks. They were whisper quiet and did move the air. That said I would like more movement from the top speed - there are others that seem to be much stronger. The remote is a bit finicky. It needs to really be pointed at the fan. Also our electrician had to make an adjustment for our roof pitch. He thought it should have been a bit more flexible. But very elegant looking fans and working well except on the most hot and humid days.

Has anyone had any experience with the Eglo Surf DC model?

I have three Eglo Noosa fans, two with lights, one without. They were bought and installed about 12 months ago. We have now realised that none of them work in reverse mode. I have read that the fan must be completely stopped before engaging reverse, however this doesn't work. Is this a problem with the fan, or with the installation?

It's a problem with the instructions. I had to call Eglo to find out the following:
Run fan in low speed [forward] whilst running press and hold F/R for about 5 secs. The fan will change direction.

Andy P and Eglo, I would really appreciate knowing this too. This review says the Noosa isnt as effective as they would like so Im hesitant in ordering 4 of them.....???

I have two Eglo Nevis fans. The speed is absurd. They are quiet and did move some air. But even the top speed (5) is like a 2/3 of another brand.
