Failed to find a basic fault and then double billed me.
In September 2020 my hot water failed. Being new to the area I rang the first electrician I googled. Unfortunately it was these guys.
They all seemed nice enough, but the first guy who came out, on the 2/9/20 checked everything, told me I had to run new electrical wires by drilling through the outer walls, charged me onsite and I paid over $200 on my credit card, he left. I still had no hot water.
Five days later a new guy from the same company came. He had not been briefed on the job, so he checked everything the first guy had already checke...d. He concluded that I did not have to drill through the brick walls (relief) but had to buy a new water heater. He left I had no hot water. The next day no one contacted me from EJ's at all. I rang another company, they sent a guy out. It was the thermostat, he showed me how you could clearly see the burnt bit. Took him about 20 minutes. Then EJ's billed me over FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS on top of the 200 or so I already paid the first time. ACCC tell me I have to pay it. Not happy, I do not recommend them.
