If you purchased the Smart Tv one, not the Android one, then you have no chance of downloading other apps, as its non existence. Only Youtube, Netflix and Amazon Prime available.

However you can get the EKO android tv dongle and will give you most of the apps

We are trying to connect our EKO TV to a sound bar. We have connected the HDMI cable from the TV ARC input on the TV to the TV ARC on the sound bar and it doesn't seem to work.
We've tried to change the sound settings but weren't sure if there's something else we should be doing.

it took me many hours connecting with sound system. arc is good option. i am not sure what soundbar you have but on my music system, I had to play a lot with the settings to get the sound from the arc input

Please ensure you have high speed certified 4k hdmi cable minimum 2.1

And then ensure to have audio settings to be on pcm out

Only a few months old and the numbers to select a channel on the remote no longer work. Can still change channels but only by arrow up and down. Is there a fix for this?

The tv mode that you have come with fixed apps , you can’t add extra apps
However you can attach chromcast which will allow you to cast from your phone

What do you mean loose ? As this tv does not have these apps of the one you mentioned on the tv

They are not available for selection. It does not detect them at all. When the channel is selected it usually displays one of these channels but it does not display them and I can not select them.
