Excellent customer service
I found the customer service team absolutely fantastic at Rural bank. They are polite, competent and friendly. The call is not directed overseas, it remains in Australia and you're speaking with NSW locals.
I would recommend the internet banking saver that we have with them - just straight forward and easy and you can always get them on the phone instantly when you need them.
They've got a long term customer in me.

Don't do it. They will sit back and watch you burn.
You will pay premium interest rates for borrowed money but your loyalty will get you nowhere. Beware, especially rural borrowers. They have no conscience, no moral judgement and simply don't care for factors such as drought, flood, adverse market conditions. They aren't a Rural Bank at all. They simply will not ride out the tough times. They will put the umbrella up for you when the sun is shining but take it away when its starts to rain. Look elsewhere. Don't go there.
