Warning: Poor quality stainless steel: Cooking stains impossible to remove
We have had our "stainless" Steel gas stove cook top for approx. 2 months. Very early after buying it we had a saucepan overflow whilst cooking rice. We have been unable to remove this stain since which covers half the area of one of the hotpoints with an ugly bronze stain despite using all cleaners including stainless steel cleaner, suggested by the store where we bought it. This had never been a problem with our previous gas top, which was obviously far better quality stainless steel. If there was any spillage it was easily removed with a sp...onge leaving no residue. We were not told about the poor quality stainless steel when we bought it, no one wants ugly cooking stains on their cooktop, so why would you buy it. I think this is unacceptable, cook tops always have some saucepan spillage, We it appears we are stuck with it. Be warned....
