Not as good as brush and pan – This vacuum sucks but not in a good way. Use it on vinyl wood and tiles only. Can’t vacuum up hair as it wraps around the brushes. Have to clean every time I use it. Can’t vacuum up very light and very small needle covers from syringe. Has trouble with houseflies. Anything bigger than dust particles blocks the inlet. Or motor not strong enough to… Read more

suck it up. So many better and more innovative cordless vacuums on the market. I’ve had mine for 2 years and hasn’t been functional from the day I bought it. Don’t even ask about customer service. Somehow I’m the problem. I tried. I really tried to like it. I wanted to like it. But I can’t like it cause it’s not good.

Awesome for a while then terrible – We loved our Ergorapido so much we purchased a second one for the house up the country . You can’t get happier than that . So we have had both now for two years , so convenient, then suddenly BAMB!! No suction, no explanation , the motor sounds loud and normal there is nothing blocking it, it’s been well cleaned regularly and maintained, so it’s… Read more

very disappointing, it lasted only two years . First sign was it wouldn’t charge . meanwhile the second unit is working well but starting to show similar signs , hard to charge, sucking power seems reduced . I would expect these units to last at least five years before such a major component failure.

Quite surprised – Was skeptical with changing from a Dyson cordless that I had for years. Never had issues with the Dyson. I gave this a go and found the design allowed you to manoeuvre well on both solid and carpet flooring. Machine is pretty quite and has a 2 power function to choose between. Detach handheld comes in handy to use with couches and other surfaces… Read more

and there are quite a few attachments to choose from. Easy to clean and remove parts, some clever designs with removing the roller brush to make sure hair can easily be removed and untangled. Also a lot more clever then Dysons stand up attachment, this vacuum has a stand that allows the device to free stand without having to mount holder to wall. Not the most expensive but in this case well worth money spent for the performance and quality.

Best stick vac on the market – This is the 2nd one ive bought and when I needed to replace my old one I didn't even bother looking at another brand. It's powerful and it might only have a small dust catcher, but what it collects amazes me. I have issues with dust being that I live on a main road pixel up and I have one cat and I never knew how much it was floating around on the… Read more

floor I wouldn't waste my money on any other stick vacuum. I use it on carpet for inbetween vacuums, and on hard surfaces as well. My sister has a Dyson stick vac and personally the Electrolux is so much better..

Almost Perfect – I bought this Vacuum in the last week or so, and I have never loved an appliance as much as I love this, it's a cordless vac and it suits my needs perfectly, I vacuum everyday now and it is so easy to get it up and down my two flights of internal stairs which are all carpeted, so I had to look for a stick vac that would cope with that, not only… Read more

did I get the usual attachments I also got a smaller cleaning head that is so suitable for the stairs I can't believe it, and also a short hose for cleaning my car, it has a 48 minute run time on low but only 15 minutes if you have it at full throttle, but even saying that at low speed I get my whole 3 levels done in one go, and as your using the vac you can actually see how much battery life you have left so you can pop it on the charging base if you need to without it just stopping without warning, also once it's charged up i turn the charging base off and I let it sit for a whole day and next morning I used it to vac and it was still fully charged,, so basically you wouldn't need it charging 24/7 and once it's fully charged the unit keeps intermittently flashing anyway so you know the battery is full and that gets a bit distracting if it's within eyesight so that's why once it's fully charged I will turn the power off to it, and I know it can sit till the next day and still be fully charged, the roller brush in the power head is something my barrel vac is missing and since I got my stick vac the carpet here at home has not looked this good since it was newly laid. This stick vac was going to be just my second vac with my larger barrel cleaner to be my (use it every 10 days) for the deeper clean, but seriously I am so impressed with how the stick vac cleans, I don't think I need my other barrel cleaner, i'm cleaning everyday with the stick cleaner so I don't think I need to be doing anything else, the dust bin though is smallish and I am emptying it frequently, but that just goes to show how much it's actually picking up off the floors, lino and carpet, and a bonus when I bought it on sale was I got the extra 2 years of product service for half price, so instead of 2 year warranty I have 4 year's, I no complain about my little cleaner it's not heavy and moves well around furniture and is perfect for the stairs with the smaller power head that attach's to the handheld unit of this vac, oh and it has headlights so u can see under furniture and in dark hallways etc.

It’s good but will look for another – I bought this stick vacuum a few years ago, for around $220 from the Good Guys on Marion Road. This has the allergy filter on it, and I will say, this filter is very good - so much dust and general grossness accumulates on the outside of it, but when I go to replace or clean the allergy filter, the inside is completely pristine, ergo (zing!) I… Read more

believe the filter works very well. In terms of the function of this stick vacuum, it works well - hard floors are a breeze, it'll pick up everything, and even does a great job cleaning carpets. It can't replace a proper corded vacuum cleaner, but for general and daily cleaning, it performs very well. The only thing it doesn't suck up is sticky things off the floors, like stickers and tape (I have a 1 year old and a 4 year old, hence the stickers and tape!). My home is a one bedroom apartment, with tiled kitchen, bathroom and laundry, and a carpeted hallway, bedroom and very large living room. However, there are some issues. The first one is the actual design and manufacturing. It is not well made. From the onset, bits started falling off. The clip on the base broke and I had to tape it to keep it on - I had to keep it on, because it keeps the rolling brush in place. Also, the other clip which keeps a metal square part, also keeping the roller brush in place, broke shortly after. The lights on the base which help to illuminate dark corners stopped working within about 6 months. Finally, in March 2020, the vacuum hose which attaches the base of the stick vacuum to the dust buster section disengaged, and now I can't use it at all as a stick vacuum. Upon closer inspection, one screw keeps the entire base of the machine in place, and takes the brunt of all the swivelling of the base. Basically, the inner workings of the machine are great, but the manufacturing and design are not. The good news is that because it is manufactured locally, I could probably get it fixed, however it is out of warranty. I have a sneaking suspicion that even if it got fixed, it would break again - it's just not that well made.

Terrific and equivalent to a Dyson – All three daughters bought a Dyson stick costing millions of dollars. We're not rich and, after searching all possible reviews, decided on the Electrolux Ergorapido. Did a deal with the Harvey Norman (monopoly?) for $329 and were well pleased. The sprogs drop off their dogs every now and then so we have dog hair, as well as wife hair, as well as… Read more

hairs which come sailing in from other people. Dust and spores? We have building going on all around us so heaps of dust.

The Ergorapido is light, it's quite powerful, it has a pedal which munches up the hairs on the rollers nae bother. Stairs? Brilliant. Carpet? Excellent. Wood flooring? Superb.

We were visiting one of the daughters last week and they have a Dyson stick which weighs a ton and cost them more than $1,200. Wife reckons it wasn't even as good as ours.

So it only has a 20 minute charge for the battery? Who cares! If you're still vacuuming more than 20 minutes then your house must either be a pit or you've got 20 dogs - if you've got cats then serve you right and no sympathy.

We did buy it around 5 months ago and it's going beautifully.

I love this vacuum! I can’t believe I am actually saying that! – 1. Why did I choose to buy this vacc over the Bosch Readyy'y 2-in-1 Handstick Vacuum Cleaner ( The brand of vacc I went in to buy.)??.... Simply put, it was because of 2 key reasons. - I loved the manoeuvrability of this. Definitely better agility than the Bosch, but the real decider for me was the sucking and cleaning power. - You see, I… Read more

took in 2 small zip lock bags of my own made dirt mix. I live at the beach, so some sand mixed with hair, fluff, and dirt - a nice dirty cocktail!! :) Tipping both packets of dirt on the floor of Harvey Norman store, with a Bosch in one hand and the Electrolux in the other, my vacuum comparison began. Both cleaned up all the dirt easily enough but it was the Electrolux that had the best first pass suction power to pick up the most dirt on the first pass over the carpet. In fact it sucked up about 90% of the dirt on the first glide over the carpet whereas the Bosch took about 3 passes over the carpet before all traces of visible dirt were gone.

2.) Since bringing it home- I love the light on the vacuum head. I use this nearly every day just to keep my floors fresh. I use it on tiles and carpet and I empty the catcher container after each use. I am genuinely surprised by how much dust I bang out of the filter that it sucks up. I also have a small poodle cross dog although she doesn’t shed much hair.

My main vacuum is a 4 year old Miele which I love and am very happy with. Instead of using this weekly or fortnightly, I now use that for a big, more thorough clean monthly only. I’m getting my carpets steam cleaned soon, and I can’t wait to use this over the carpet on the same day after the carpet is cleaned because I want to see how much dust it picks up.

3. What I don’t love - Two things The first is taking out the dust bag from the container because it has a sort of hook clip one side and I don’t find it easy to come out to empty it. ******* Electrolux- please make this a bit easier for future models.

The second is the actual corregated style filter. I don’t find the design of this is easy to clean and remove all traces of dirt and dust. I have tried banging it outside, flicking the corregations with my fingers to release the dust, using a small brush from the brush and shovel set, to brush out the dust and finally I’ve used a high pressure jet of water to wash it clean. ******* Electrolux- please make this a bit easier for future models.

4. Finally, I’d say because you are reading this review you are likely to be doing your homework to aid you to make a decision over which type of stick vacc is best for you. That said, my tip is don’t let anyone prejudice you towards excluding a particular brand. Check it out yourself, and form Your own opinion . One sales rep in the Good Guys told me not to waste my time in buying this product because it was basically rubbish. However,a few reads of reviews here on this site showed that it actually had a good rap s as judged by past /current owners, and the sales rep at H.Norman raved about the vacc.

I love it and my enthusiasm over it even convinced a friend to buy one for her household. No hard sell from me required!

Great Second Vac – This a great second vacuum for everyday use. We get the main cleaner out periodically for a deeper clean though this is less often now. If the speed with which the canister fills is anything to go by it does a good job on both hard floors and carpets. It's size and manoeuvrability makes it great for tight and low clearance and stairs. It has… Read more

plenty of charge for the way we use it. Emptying the canister is easy. It is well-built and doesn't take up much space when not it use. Better than I expected, this is a perfect "between deep clean" vacuum.

Takes vacuuming from the worst chore to the best chore – I've always detested vacuum cleaning - it's my least favorite chore by a mile but this has completely changed that! It's got a very reasonable price point vs other options, has great suction, I love that you can switch between… Read more

the hand dust buster and the full vacuum cleaner, love the little light at the head, it's got great swiveling, and I love the button you can press to chop up the hair stuck on the head (although it does make a terrifying noise).

Battery life is sufficient to just make it through our 2 story, 3 bedroom terrace before running flat. Can't speak to longevity as we've only had it for a couple of months but have seen some good reviews from other folks on that.

If I could give zero stars I would – I sincerely hope the people who have rated this vacuum cleaner well were paid. I honestly could get better suction with a straw. Our home is tiny with polished floor boards. The battery doesn’t even last the whole home. The clips on the base broke very early into its life requiring Macgyver skills to repair. I will agree it is light which is just as well because it just pushes dirt around on the floor. Nice colour.  Show details

Batteries Dead after only 2 years – I bought the Ergorapido Lithium 18v after reading good reviews. The problem with reviewing a product 2 weeks after purchase is... Yes, you don’t know that it will be completely useless in only 2years. Designed obsolescence! If you intend on buying a new vacuum every few years, the Electrolux has just what you need. For the rest of us who feel up… Read more

to 5years is acceptable, then look elsewhere. The vacuum I bought was quite good, but when the batteries died with no replacement parts available, it’s in the bin and I’m off spending more of my hard earned money. This type of product is wasting resources and killing the planet!

Update: After mediation from Fair Trading NSW we were given a replacement vacuum cleaner. We are happy to see companies accepting responsibility for producing products that are designed to be obsolete in only a year or so.

Simply the best stick vacuum – I live in a unit with carpeted floors except for the wet areas which are tiled. My little dog also lives with me. I made the very wise choice of buying the Electrolux Ergorapido. I've had it now for around 6 months and am constantly AMAZED how much dust it picks up. It is SIMPLE THE BEST. Its lightweight and moves from carpets to hard floors automatically picking up the same amount. To those that wrote negative reviews, I can only say, you must have a faulty stick. lightweight in the handle, much easier to use than the other brands I've had before. And the brush cutting blade - genius. Whoever invented that was a long haired woman lol. Great vacuum – I bought this while pregnant as I needed an easy to use vacuum that was lightweight. I use this on tiles and carpet. I find it works really well on both surfaces.
