A great combo machine
I researched quite extensively before replacing my old (average) Samsung front loader, and this machine came up as most suitable for what I needed for the price.
I’ve had this machine for about 6 months now and am really happy with it. It washes well, has functions for most loads of washing, and different time functions, with the shortest being 18 mins for a small light wash. For heavier loads, it can take up to nearly 3 hours, but I only use this when necessary (sheets and bedding usually)
The capacity of the drum is 10kg and so far I’ve ne...ver been able to fit that amount of washing into the machine, as it’s 10kg for a cotton cycle, and 10kg of cotton is A LOT of clothing. The machine weighs the clothes as you put them into the machine and stops you from loading anymore than is appropriate for the cycle you have chosen, a great feature for people like me who are used to cramming as much as possible into the machine, and having the wash quality reduced. It has a great 60 minute wash/dry cycle, which does leave the clothes a little damp at the completion of the cycle, but only very slightly. If you get the clothes out immediately after the cycle finishes, they’re perfect for ironing (especially shirts and cottons)

Regret my purchase - lint all over everything!!!
I replaced my old Samsung washer dryer (one of the first combo models offered) after close to 10 years of regular use which washed beautifully but didn’t dry very well. This machine dries perfectly but that’s the only positive. It leaves lint all over clothes every single time - regardless of the cycle - wash only, dry only or wash and dry. The pump filter is clean but it has left clothes this way since day one! The controls are also annoying - having to press the ‘more’ button to cycle through wash options is annoying and confusing - if you ac...cidentally go past the one you want you have to press ‘more’ over and over to cycle through all the options again - a dial would have been so much better and quicker to select cycles. The anti allergy cycle has also never worked from day one - the machine constantly gives a ‘check tap’ error on the vapour part of the cycle. There are also some occasions when it doesn’t spin properly and the items are dripping wet and I need to run a separate spin cycle. I bought this machine hoping to make life easier with a new baby but it’s an absolute pain - I wish I could return it and get something else.

Good for a combo washer dryer
Happy with this washer/dryer.Have had others that weren't as good.Leaves clothes very uncreased when not using the dryer. When using the drying part can come out very creased.Overall am happy with my purchase. The drying part still needs attention as takes a long time and can still come out a bit damp.
Excellent washer/dryer combo
Recently purchased this washer/dryer to replace old top loader and vented dryer. I’ve used nearly all of the different cycles including continuous wash and dry for a load of towels, it does take some trial and error to get used to as the technology is so different to my old appliances. I can understand why some reviewers say the machine doesn’t dry fully, this is because either they have chosen cupboard dry rather than extra dry or have chosen too shorter time in a timed drying cycles but a condenser dryer works differently to a vented dryer le...aving some humidity (moisture) to assist with ironing and/or reduce creasing. I love that the machine spins at such high revs line drying is faster than before. I suggest you take the time to try the different cycles and get used to the way it works. I would definitely recommend this machine
Washes well, drying function is so so
Washes and rinses clothes very well, spins clothes very well so clothes are only damp and not dripping after the spin cycle. Relatively quiet and doesn’t have a big rattling sound like top loaders.
Has an anti-allergy function that is used for baby clothes.
Don’t quite like the touch screen feature as I’m always worried it’ll break - would much prefer the spin button option like the other models.
Drying takes quite a while (drying cotton feature that takes 2.25hours will just dry 2kg of baby clothes).
As a washer / dryer, it’s an economical and space saving option.
It’s the best washer and dryer combo ever used.
Won’t take much water or electricity and clean and dry the cloths very well.
It has user friendly electronics switches
So I strongly recommend this machine
If you think about to buy don’t think too much.. This really worth for you....

I am very happy with our washer dryer, it is convenient and it washes our synthetic king size quilts well (just don't use the bedding cycle for synthetic quilts, it was too gentle for ours)
Of course like the other energy and water wise machines the cycle times can be a bit of a pain as some seem extremely long for a wash.
I've found it suits me best if I select my own wash options rather than the pre set ones. I also find putting the machine on a wash dry cycle overnight or when I leave for work is very handy. I use the delay start to insure it's not sitting too long.
Good washer and dryer
This washer / dryer combo does exactly what it should - it washes and dries clothes well. It's pretty quiet except during the spin cycle where it shakes the whole laundry. It's very convenient to chuck clothes in and have them dry automatically, but that functionality doesn't work on all washing cycles (eg. Quick wash and delicates). The quick wash function is 18 mins and a god-send when I'm in a hurry. My only gripe is that the dryer tends to cook clothes a bit.
Questions & Answers
Last year I replaced my 2 year old AEG washer/dryer, which washed & dried beautifully (but died and turned out to not be covered by the extended warranty I'd bought) with an Electrolux EWW14013. Can anyone tell me how to wash & dry towels (2 bath sheets, 2 hand towels, toilet mat & bath mat - ~5kg) in it?! Every cycle I've tried leaves the towels stuck to the drum after the spin cycle, and if I use a wash & dry cycle, that's how they dry - which is obviously completely useless. The only way I've found to do it so far is to unstick the towels from the drum between the wash and dry cycle... but that's pretty crap!
Hi Chris I’ve not had this problem at all I’ve washed and dried similar loads and larger and it’s worked ok. It sounds like perhaps the drum isn’t fully rotating, did you install the machine yourself? Have you checked that the transit bolts have been removed from the back of the machine? Theoretically the wash shouldn’t cling to the sides of the drum because gravity would make it drop on a full turn. Offering this purely as a suggestion, if the transit bolts aren’t the problem I’d contact the manufacturer
It was installed by the people from Electrolux themselves ... the spin is working exceptionally well - the towels are almost dry, which is probably part of the problem, they aren't heavy enough to drop away from the drum. All of the other loads are fine, just the towels are a problem... I'll ask Electrolux!
How long does an average wash only full size load take?
How long does a wash/dry load take?
Any idea how long a quick 18 minute cycle takes to wash and dry? On the odd occasion that I forget to wash school uniform and need it done quickly.
The Quick 18 minute cycle will wash up to 1.5 kg of washing it takes 18 minutes but only spins at 800rmp so your washing is literally “wetter” to start the drying cycle. If you only want a school uniform so assuming 1shirt, 1 pants, 1 tunic this should weigh under 1kg (the washer will weigh for you as you load) use the wash/dry 60 cycle which spins at 1200rmp so your washing will be washed and dried in an hour. Alternatively, if the clothing isn’t stained and you just need to quickly freshen up the uniform you could use the refresh cycle, but I wouldn’t recommend this for sweaty, dirty sports uniforms.
