Device: We have been installed with chef (CVE662SA) in 2017.
Issue: the fan is making noise and temperature is not setting in..
This oven was replaced in 2017 with a 2 year warranty. It is extremely disappointing if a new oven can only last 2 years.
Not happy jan
I dont like this product cause its so hard to clean the interior if the oven and the stains of any spills In the oven and on the floor of the oven will not come off no matter how I try to remove them I have contacted Electrolux & have been advised to try several methods to clean it but nothing works oil has remained and stains unbelievable the enamel is so thin that just by rubbing it into remove oil enamel inside inthe oven has emailed faded and scratched they wont do anything about it. I recommend if u are looking for oven never buy Electro...lux oven it fridges Ive had problem also with the purchase of my westing house fridge while it was in warranty I had to have it replaced twice for the interior was cracking and door getting unbalanced and Ive been told that I have too much food in it all a loud of bull as they didnt even want to replace it Ive had to fight to get a replacement. Now the same embassy experience Im have with my oven never and I say never buy any Electrolux products what so ever keep away from these products definately
Fridge is dented and extremely loud. Electrolux do not care and will not replace
I bought a fridge in March. From the start it was extremely loud. So loud that I can hear it from two rooms away.
A technician replaced the fan but this has not helped.
Two more technicians came out and agreed that it is loud. One said, sometimes theyre just really loud. I have asked for assistance in replacing, however they just offer to send a technician and will not do anything unless the technician says they need to replace.
Of course the technician work say its fine so they dont need to replace the fridge. I have been battling with Electrolux for 8 months and am stuck with an awful, super loud fridge. Friends and family agree that the fridge is poor quality and very loud. couldnt be less satisfied with the product or service.
Beefeater bbq Very unhappy with backup service from electrolux
Purchased a beeffeater bbq used it 3 times and it had a faulty control nob leaking gas big bang contacted electrlux service has been totaly shocking not impressed wouldn't recommend
Dont buy, if you wanna set your kitchen on fire
We have had this electrolux ranghood for over 5 years. Two months ago, it set itself on fire when no one was using it and no one have used it for days. The kitchen was set on fire and fire brigade ruled that it was ranghood itself, not tenant's fault, not doggy electrical circuits. It should take us over 70 000 aud to repair the damage. We called them up, they came once, and no response for weeks. Called again and again, they said they decided not to be held liabilities for the fire. I know that this product ran out of warranty but shouldn't be the reason you kitchen set on fire when no one was home yeh? Never touch it products and customer service again ever.
Absolutely dreadful product and dreadful service from Electrolux. Fridge freezer was faulty from new with excessive frost build up. Reported on several occasions and an engineer was sent out but unable to fix the problem. Electrolux failed to act despite warranty. We're left with a defunct fridge freezer. Don't make the same mistake we did. Buy from a different manufacturer.
New Electrolux dryer does not work
Bought front loader condenser dryer in August of 2018. Six months later it exhibited issues with the condenser. I called the company, and they sent a company to fix it (2 days off of work for me- 1 day to assess, wait for parts, 1 day to fix. Same problem a month later, they rebuild the whole condenser unit. It was warped. (2 more days off of work). Then a short time later, the drum comes off its track. (2 more days off of work). In September, door is totally warped again. They send repair service. This company did not know how to re...pair it. Another repair company is assigned after I request a new machine. This machine is a lemon. Electrolux did not honor my request for a placement. They put me off for 2 weeks to do a product review. I had to call them. And, they said that they are busy. Very rude and uninformed managers who cannot help me[names removed]. As of this moment, parts are on back order. I have no dryer (now a month!) Electrolux does not stand behind their products and have mishandled my case so badly. I tell everyone and anyone my story. My recommendation is-do not buy Electrolux!
Beware of products owned by Electrolux
I bought a 5.5 kg Eziset Simpson Washing Machine where on the full cycle the water only comes up to about 7.7cm (it can vary, sometimes even lower) below the bottom of the white ring part (so is not high enough when on full).
As a note, I spoke to a Whirlpool member who said he had the same machine that comes up to 4cm below which in my experience is about where they usually come up to but mine doesn't and varies.
I have been using washing machines for many many years (I am 55yrs old) and have never once had an issue like this.
As it is under ...
Dishwasher from havery norman, Couple of months old won't dry and drain properly,.
Extremely bad customer service nearly 3 weeks to have their service to come look at it.
Will never recomend this company, product.
1 Star doesnt even cut it- worst customer service and products ever
I just want to say how disgusted I am at Electrolux and your customer service/so called customer care!!! We bought a dryer less than 6 months ago that we now CANNOT use because its faulty and a major fire risk!! This happened 2 weeks ago when we had had it on for 30min to walk into a red hot dryer and a haze of smoke from the heat. Not only have we had to wait 2 weeks for a repair man to be able to come and look at it, we have had to take a day off work to be home for them to visit to now be told we need to wait even longer while they order th...e parts and THEN take yet another day off work, again to be home for them to come fix it. During this time we have struggled with wet cold weather and working long hours being able to keep our clothes dry ONLY to be told by the customer service staff at Electrolux today that maybe we should try hanging our clothes out to get them dry when we have an expensive piece of Electrolux crap sitting there that we cannot use. Oh and to top it off, the only other advice they could supply us was to pay an extra $20 to get the part delivered quicker!!!!! I am so mad right now and I WILL be ringing consumer fair trading on Monday and I will be spreading the word to everyone I know to stay away from Electrolux and their shady products and even worse customer service
Terrible product and expensive parts replacement
I purchased an Electrolux oven, built in microwave and built in coffee machine. I wanted to support an Australian company so I went with Electrolux. Within a month of the coffee machine being out of warranty it stopped working so I had to get it fixed. Not long after that the microwave stopped heating food and then the steam function on the coffee machine stopped working. When I got someone out to fix the microwave I was told that it was potentially one or two parts that were faulty. The cost of these two parts were $200 and $300 respectively. ...I asked if you would find these two parts in any microwave and was told yes. I then questioned how two parts could cost $500 when you can but a good microwave for $200 that contains both of these parts. The repairman told me that he got my point but this is what they charge for their spare parts. I didn’t even bother getting the coffee machine fixed for a second time. It is disappointing because I purchased it all in built to sit together in the kitchen as a feature. Now it’s just an expensive wall of nothing working. Please don’t buy Electrolux unless you have the money to pay for the repairs. I would give no stars if possible.
Dishlex ruined some of our floorboards
We purchased the Dishlex DSF6106W dishwasher from our local Harvey Norman store on the 23/09/2018 which we brought home and put it into the dishwasher space in the bench island. Not hard to install at all!! Fast forward 8 months to the 20/05/2019 at about 10:00pm i walked around to the sink and noticed water on the floor in front of the dishwasher. I turned it off at the powerpoint as the motor would not stop going, even with no water in the machine. I spent about 30 minutes trying to clean up the water which most of it had gone under the float...ing floor boards and has now made them lift around the edgings. Next day after work @ 4:32pm i rang and spoke to [name removed] and explained everything to her. At 5:24pm, i received a phone call from [name removed] from Electrolux and explained everything to her as well. I then received a phone call @ 11:34am from the repair agent and the dishwasher was picked up on Friday the 24th of May. It had taken about 5 - 6 weeks for us to get the dishwasher back home which felt like forever especially with the amount of calls to Electrolux and the amount that the repair agent had been stuffed around. The problem after all this had been a hose that had come off a pipe located inside the machine where the machine has to be fully opened to fix this issue. The hose had no type of glue or hose clamp to hold it onto the pipe. Genius idea!!! We had been in contact with Electrolux by email quite a few times regarding our floating floorboards but they will not come to the party to fix them as they state "its not a fault of the appliance." Who's fault is it then?? They reckon they even tried to replicate the problem but couldn't get a machine to do it. How can you replicate something that took 8 months to happen in only a couple of weeks??? Even the local Harvey Norman proprietor cant understand their logic and has even tried helping us to get a resolution but hasn't been able too either. I may have forgotten something but i think the gist of the story is there!! We'll never ever recommend any brand associated with electrolux ever again. A little update - dishwasher leaked again!! God knows where from this time!!! Emailed the proprietor again and got a response from someone else but turned out to be the new proprietor who has been in the job since the start of November. Straight away with no crap helped us out immensely with a different brand of dishwasher (Bosch) and we are loving this dishwasher and its only been a few days!!! This has restore a lot of faith in customer service. A big THANK YOU to Jason!! Awesome customer service!!
We purchased a Westinghouse dishwasher in June 2018, We moved into our BRAND NEW house in September 2018 and got all our appliances delivered when we moved in. (every appliance in our house was brand new due to being first home buyers)
In July 2019 our dishwasher stopped working suddenly - called out the tech guy and he was out in the specified time frame and was absolutely great, no issues with him. He said the power board was dead and had to get a replacement which he had to install a different day as they didn't have that part in stock. He t...
Customer service utter rubbish
Been back and forth with calls and emails now for 3 months. Had a fridge replaces due to leaking. Damaged the new floors. Still trying to get them to claim insurance so I can have more floors fixed. Keep getting thrown around from person to person. Utter rubbish service
Awful after sales support!
Have a Chef stove I bought in 2016 that has a faulty ignition and gets stuck on clicking and wont light up, very unsafe to use as it has blown large balls of fire each time from the repetitive clicking and igniting!
Advised Electrolux of the issue and seems like they don't care, advising the unit is out of warranty! Charging $160 for call out plus parts! A new cook top costs $200! Only agreed to cover parts!
What a joke, the item has not lasted a reasonable amount of time, is not durable or long lasting and fit for purpose as per consumer law and should be fully covered! Never touching anything from Electrolux ever again! Buyer beware! You have been warned from Electrolux's shonky products.
Disappointing product AND service
Three months back (June 11), we called Electrolux re our refrigerator with the fridge compartment not cooling (although the freezer was). We bought the fridge only a year and a half ago at Harvey Norman, CBD. They sent a technician over and we had 2 concerns about this:
1. The technician was supposed to arrive between 7:30 to 11:30 am and was supposed to call 30 minutes before he was slated to do so. It was already 11:30 and we have not been given any advice as to the technician's status. We called and they arranged to have the technician over,...
If the product out of the warranty , could be very expensive for the service , my AEG dishwasher required 3rd time repair (for the past 5.5 years) which out of the warranty , would be charged $602 exclude work shop fee to replace $60 parts. We decide to buy a new one, of course another brand.
The reviewer stated that an incentive was offered for this review
I purchased a new fridge and my daughter happened to pull the handle and snap it off. I was devastated. I'm a single mother and I had to save up for the fridge. Well the lady at electrolux service center was amazing and I was nearly in tears. They replaced my door today and I'm so very happy. Thank you for taking care of me.
If only it lasted
Electrolux Ultraperformer ZUP3862P - Would not recommend. Worked well when it actually worked. In the short time I had this vacuum it required repair 3 times (3rd time would cost nearly as much the vacuum itself). Firstly whilst still under warranty, recalled as part fitted was faulty. Second time it cost over $200 for repairs, 3rd time over $400. Gave up and bought a new vacuum!
Worst Company On The Planet! Greedy incompetent monkeys!
The massive amount of negative reviews here re. electrolux is damning. I wish I'd read all these damning reviews before giving my money to these greedy and incompetent white collar crooks. I invested a lot of money in a brand new washing machine in 2016. It stopped working after only 3 years. I nearly fell out of my chair when they wanted well over half a Thousand dollars to fix it! How can a 3 year old washing machine cost nearly as much to fix as buying a new one? When I objected to this gross ripoff they did the standard routine all dodgy g...reedy crooks do. They tried blaming me the customer by insinuating I must be to blame for it breaking down. Asking if I do a lot of washing or heavy loads? I said no I only wash twice a week with light loads only. I then got told I must use too much detergent? No I only use the barest minimum. Then I get told I dropped too many safety pins in there? Hahahahahaha. What a load of crap. No that's impossible because I don't use any safety pins you bunch of incompetent clowns! What kind of a company blames the customer for making unreliable junk? What kind of a company expects customers to fork out so much money for repairs? A greedy incompetent one! Notice how their reps use canned responses like: "We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss the concerns you have raised". Notice how they expect you to email them privately so nobody can see the conversation here? Notice how their reps never bother to respond after posting that first canned comment? It's as if an automated bot is replying to you! It wouldn't surprise me if it really is a bot! Haven't these electrolux monkeys ever heard of goods having to be of an 'acceptable quality' and 'fit for its purpose' under consumer law? As many other reviewers here have revealed this seems to be how they make huge amounts of money after selling you these trashy lemons that keep failing . I tried explaining to them how grossly unreasonable all this was to their customers but instead of listening they got rudely aggressive and gave me attitude. As happened to many other reviewers here they also demanded nearly $150 bucks for "labour" which consists of doing nothing more than telling me they want over half a Thousand bucks to fix it! What a gross ripoff. Are these monkeys for real? Why is this company so greedy? Why do they make such poor quality trash that fails so quickly? This is the worst appliance company on the planet! Run by a bunch of greedy incompetent monkeys. Don't become another victim of these money hungry crooks. They don't give a damn about after sales service! Never buy anything from electrolux! Electrolux...you're a joke!

The control panel on my fridge/freezer is playing up, the fridge is not cold, only cool, the freezer is slow to freeze items, and the ice takes ages to freeze.
The model is EBE4507SA, and the serial no. is 63873073073,
450 litre, bought from Harvey Norman, 12/01/18
Have contacted Electrolux several times since buying the WORST washer ever in Dec 2019. Have jsut asked the appliances online i bought it from for help. Terrible machine just doesn't wash properly and clothes are left with a "film" on them at the end as if not rinsing properly and soap suds on door. $800 out of pocket and dirty clothes and NO reply from Electrolux and as did all via their site ( as well as called) I have no record of my emails. Dont know what to do next. appalling performance and customer service also it seems.
I am building a new kitchen however your products seem to be very unreliable and your customer service has very unreasonable policies including an air conditioner which totally rusted within 4 years and then was told I live in a coastal area. My technician said he’d never seen anything like it and my neighbours had aircon for over ten years still going strong. Why is your company sripping people off like this? Just not good enough
