Why wouldn't you look after such a loyal customer ???

Emirates damaged a hard case suitcase that was almost new. Staff gave me an email to contact and send photos and a letter of complaint for compensation along with the details of the flight. It appears that staff member gave me an incorrect email and then I was told it wasn't reported in time which it was. I have asked for this to be escalated to a manager but they won't do that and said the case is closed. It is rude to just cut me off without a resolution. Show details

Always my top choice

I fly often internationally. Emirates has never let me down. Both the service in and out of the flight has been great. A more sophisticated and cleaner aircraft than others. I have always found it more comfortable and the food even is always better and I'm speaking at economy level. Show details

African Diaspora- AVOID AT ALL COST

I will never fly with this Airline- based on the experience I received from Melbourne International Terminal. I was refused to check-in/board to travel home due to my passport expiring in 38days, one of the reasons for traveling home was to renew my passport- the lady refused to check me in despite my reasoning. Only to give my seat to a staff member in front of me- just heartless. Then they refused to refund me. It was going to be my first flight with Emirates. There are other Airlines out there that have better customer service like Singapore Airlines and Qatar Airlines- at least to them you are not a number. Avoid avoid avoid Show details

Never buy extra legroom in bulkhead on Emirated

I bought extra legroom seats on an Emirates flight from Dublin to Dubai. Never waste your money on this.. Firstly, the flight attendants parked the trolley in the aisle just next to me, so people had to go right close to me to get around the trolley. Secondly, Emirates let large groups congregate in the bulkhead. Between the trolleys and people I had to tuck my legs in more than in a normal seat. The flight attendants just close the curtains and sit together and gossip. Seriously was terrible. Emirates did not reply to photos or feedback. Really, don't waste your dollars on buying bulkhead. Show details

Rip off

Emirates staff Mr Chuttoo D and supervisor Mrs Mary Joyce from Mauritius airport counter are very unprofessional. Was advise that an extra luggage from Mauritius to Melbourne will cost me Rs3,600 for 32KG and after organising my extra piece I was charged Rs15,160 instead and my luggage was only 29KG on top I had to pay an extra AED920 from Dubai to Melbourne.

Been chasing the Emirates complaints department, explain the situation to a case officer Miss Hanifa who was so hard to deal with as they don't even bother investigating in the matter.

I will never recommend anyone using Emirates and if you do so be careful not to be ripped off otherwise you might miss your flight.

THIS JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

I am still trying to get my head around the fact that if you cancel a Business Class ticket you have to pay £500pp cancellation fee.... But if you elect to cancel the journey and rebook at a later date you pay £600pp...

Given that Dubai is a hub and a lot of passengers travel via that hub to another destination, it seems totally unfair that you get charged £150 per sector to rebook in Business Class.

So next time you have to delay a trip just cancel it.... 1. It's cheaper if you have a connecting flight and 2, You get your money back as opposed to Emirates holding on to the whole sum for a year earning interest...

Call me stupid, but this seems totally illogical to me???? How not to keep your customers.... Show details

Would fly with them again

Easy to select seats on their phone app, seats were comfortable enough in economy class, toilets were clean, plenty of movies that they offer on their in-flight entertainment and food offered was acceptable. The only complaint I have is their Wi-Fi signal strength. They advertise it was being strong wifi signal when they sell it to you on board but it was quite disappointing when trying to load videos on Youtube or even Facebook. Show details

Car transfer company is appalling

Emirates flights are absolutely fine but unfortunately if you travel business class the airport transfer company Hughes is appalling. They cancelled my booking to get to the airport which could have been disastrous. On the return transfer which was prepaid they hounded me for payment afterwards. For this reason I will not fly emirates again and will choose Etihad or Qatar. Show details

Horrible delays and forgotten luggage

Not only was my luggage forgotten in Dubai, but also did not have good food on board the plane which was delayed for 1 hour. Horrible headphones also given out. Seats were also changed from the ones I had selected. Show details

Beware extra luggage fees!

We were hit with a whopping $70/kg fee and no possibility of paying for the extra bag as a unit. Commonly $100/bag with other airlines. As our cabin bag was also over we had to check it in as well. Prepaying online only generates a 20% discount. In total our overage, they wanted over 2000 for two bags. Ludicrous. Will never fly with them again. Show details

Emirates don't care!

Our flight was delayed last night due to engine problems then, then as it was too late to fly out to Melbourne it was cancelled (all while we are sitting on the plane) I totally understand that. Our new flights are booked for today, BUT we now have a 14-hour layover in Dubai. Instead of going direct to Sicily in Italy we are flying to Rome then onto Sicily. All with 2 kids and not one call from Emirates, nobody offering to arrange a lounge access in Dubai. Nothing. Terrible services! Show details

Unconscionable Conduct - will charge us $2k to cancel flights after cancer diagnoses

We booked flights in Jan 23 for the UK in Dec 23. My wife has just been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and we can't fly in the next 12 months. We asked for some compassion and a full refund - zero compassion and $2k to cancel - we have provided 5 months notice and the very same flights are now $2k more expensive - so they generate $4k extra income from a cancer diagnoses. I have attempted to get to customer service in Australia - what a joke that process is - make a complaint online and we will get back to you... to say no refund. Lost us as a customer for life and will be repeating this story until my last breath. Show details

Emirates Brisbane just terrible

2 years after Covid and still no business class lounge in Brisbane.

And the limo service is just terrible. For the third time rather than a limo , they send a taxi. Everywhere else in the world it’s a proper limo but in Brisbane in many cases it’s just a taxi.

Ps they use Hughes Limos in Brisbane and that’s the problem Show details

Perfect service when most needed

My wife and I are seasoned, senior, economy class passengers. We recently flew to Europe and were due to return to Perth from Budapest. Unfortunately my wife broke her ankle in a push bike fall and we were advised to return urgently to Australia for surgery. Phoned the Emirates office in Vienna, answered by a very polite gentleman within 2 minutes, who immediately and promptly reorganized our flights (both of us) on the next fight out for A$286. That covered change of departure, change of flights, the works. We were given 4 selected economy seats in centre to Dubai and 3 seats to Perth. Airport assistance from check-in in Vienna to pickup curb at Perth international was exceptional. Couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you Emirates. Show details

No customer support !!!

Very disappointed, I asked to upgrade my flights in Paris, I paid 2000 USD and when I arrived in Dubai they said I couldn't fly on business for the second flight. I asked what happened and they said I need to pay more than 1000 dollars. In Dubai nobody wants to take any responsibility so you are on you! The guys just said, you can complaint online! Buy …

I asked to upgrade both, I ended up in the middle of my trip out off pocket.

Just be to the UK 4 flights on emirates 1 Qantas Emirates 1st flight about 12 hours 3 meals all excellent between meals only 1 cart service for the whole trip bit disappointing. other 3 Emirate flights fantastic. Qantas flight very poor, cannot select seats, boarding pass printed with no gate number,no pa call for boarding, meals terrible worst i have ever had, cart service good but drinks no where near cold easy to see who we will book with next time Show details

So disappointed

We were so excited to be flying Emirates A380 business class which took us six months to save up for and we’re so disappointed. Seats were so hard even with mattress. Felt small and cramped. Food average. No storage at your seat. 75 business class seats to 4 toilets so you can imaging how clean the toilets were. Even lounge in Dubai huge disappointment, and food terrible in there. The 777 was even more cramped due to 2,3,2 configuration. My advise for the price, find another airline. Show details

Wheelchair

We arranged a wheelchair for my 71years old mother from perth to tehran, she has had three surgeries on her knees and heaps recently and Emirates didn't provide her any wheelchair at Dubai Airport, they forced her to walk all the way to reach to the next conecting flight gate. The interesting part is that we contacted Emirate twice by phone and even double checked the availability of the weelchair at Perth airport with staff.

Flight service WIFI

I flew from Dubai to Los anglus for 16 hours.
They claim they have WIFI. I paid $20 dollars and got zero access.
I complained to fly émirats and I was told that wasn’t their problem because internet provider is third party.

Shocking customer service

We flew from Melbourne to Dublin in December 2022. Emirates lost one of our 30kg bags. After 4 months of back and forth with customer service via phone and email Emirates decide they are just going to wash their hands of any responsibility for the lost luggage. On the last email received from them they told us that they put the luggage on the plane at departure but apparently is not their responsibility to make sure it gets at destination

Not great anymore. Complaints don't even helped. It's not about customer anymore
