Esatto ETLW7

Have had the machine for just over two years and it has started leaking. The plumber said it is not a faulty hose and the machine has to be replaced. I had my previous Simpson for over 15 years - going back to a trusted brand.

spin function is extremely bad , and the clothes come out with much more moisture and definitely not entirely done, this means they are heavier to lift and will take longer to dry. This function is extremely important and the Essato ETLW70B fails here also. Don’t buy this machine, it is cheap and nasty, and the saying that you get what you pay for could not be more true with the Essato. Appliances on line must take some responsibility here, especially for stocking sub standard products without listing that the item has been discontinued. I will not use them again. It’s back to the store where I can see the product and talk to the salespeople about performance.

Fantastic value standard washing machine that does what it says on the box! – I've been running crappy second-hand top loaders up til this one so this is a breath of fresh air compared to those. First thing I noticed was that there was no agitator, they're apparently obsolete though as this machine cleans as well as any. I'd consider it average on noise levels. It definitely isn't loud but if you're near it you can hear it.

The see through lid is a nice touch but I have my concerns with the durability of the lid section especially with younger children or rougher adults, it's made of plastic for the most part and looks like it's non replaceable with plastic hinges, that could break if abused. This issue is the only reason I didn't give it a 5.

The bottom line is for the price I paid it's amazing value and does everything I want and excludes anything I don't need.It's also Australian made and owned also enticed me as I work in an Australian owned and made workplace myself and realise how important it is to support our brands.

Happy with purchase – Large internal space for a compact machine. Excellent value for money. No tangling. Drawbacks. Took ages to understand how to use the programs. Tips: You cannot select 'warm'. level, program changes. Limited autonomy on what you choose is a drawback. Also, spin could be more efficient. Clothes are on the wet side of damp after spin. Regardless, I find this much easier to use than my Fisher and Paykel which frustratingly tangles and becomes unbalanced on loads. If your washer is near a living area you might find the spin cycle a bit noisy.

Good quality – I accidently bought a smaller washing machine but is fine. Have had this for the past two years and have had no issues. Great choice considering it is not a well known brand like my previous choices. Show details ·  1

Can't get parts – Couple of years old. Will take 16 weeks to obtain a new pressure switch. Not stocked in Australia. Have had to purchase another machine, popular brand, parts available, very expensive, have had to borrow money. Extremely unhappy

Very poor – I bought an Essato washing machine two years ago. Its started spluttering brown stuff everywhere and stopped spinning altogether. The E3 Error was CONSTANTLY on and I believe a washing machine should last more than two years? Don't buy! Show details

Worst washing machine ever – I bought the 10kilo front loader and it is by far the worst washing machine I’ve ever had. I returned it after 2 weeks of use as I couldn’t get thru a single wash without errors showing up. Especially the dreaded E3 which says that the top door is open when it isn’t. TERRIBLE – Terrible Machine. Don't buy anything from Appliances Online, Residentia Group and Essato. It's way too sensitive. Money down the drain. Please avoid these machines at all costs. If you live in an older home and can't re-do the floors the E3 sensor will go off when it pleases. I've begged for help and all they wanted to do was charge me more. Not even worth donating this machine to charity so bad it is.

Some small critiques: - The first wash cycle is not the 'Normal' wash, rather it is 'Jeans'. This means you have to click through about 6 times to get to the Normal cycle. - The sensor sometimes underestimates how much water is needed for a wash, though this might be a personal preference. They still come out washed!

Otherwise, this machine is worth it, especially for the price.

Cheap but Not Nasty – Great machine. Super water efficient and spins out really well. I wasn’t comfortable at first with it not having an agitator but it really cleans very well. Great product – I purchased this machine through rent buy option. Was not sure of the brand as i had never heard of Esatto but it has been the easiest machine I have ever used. Cheaply built poor quality – Washes great until the washing machine breaks down with the electronics or the bearings. The lid has also cracked and one day it made a terrible noise when spinning. Unfortunately getting onto the Esatto customer care is difficult and all they did was organise for a return as the Esatto washing machines cannot be repaired.  Show details

Good value washing machine – I purchased this machine a month ago and I’m very happy with it so far. The cycles are quick (shortest being 10mins) and it washes your clothes well. an extra spin cycle may be beneficial for heavier items.Value for money this machine is hard to beat.

Good machine – It took a little while to work out what programs were best for our clothes. Day to day light soiled clothes we used the quick wash, at 15 mins. This cycle certainly cleaned the clothes. Sheets and towels were on the standard cycle its a bit long, but again cleans well.
