The first thing you need to check is the drain pump filter. Unfortunately it's in a difficult spot and this will get a little messy...if you pull the washer out, at the back and close to the base there is a plastic screw that can be removed by hand. When you do, water will gush out onto the floor. This piece is the filter. Simply remove any gunk in it and screw it back in. If this doesn't fix the issue, you need to keep researching.

Absolute [Content Removed] that the drain pump filter is on the back of this. They expect elderly women to be able to pull the machine out and put it back. Hilarious

When I had this washing machine i noticed that the E3 error comes up when there's too many clothes in the machine.

Robert you need to contact the manufacturer. I do not have their details at hand, but if you look back through the Esatto reviews and comments, you will find their details listed. The Esatto manufacturers have always been helpful, and can put you in touch with repair people who know their brand.

I agree massive mistake. I've asked for an immediate return. I don't care about the refund. I'm going to write negative review after negative review following being humiliated by this product. Don't buy Esatto. Don't buy from Appliances Online. Thanks for nothing to both of you. The E3 error is relentless, obsessive and no longer acceptable. I'm in tears and at the point of breakdown. This is the mental damage it has caused to me.

Hi Rae, I had my Esatto machine which was bought new for less than 3 weeks, before having problems and I exchanged it for a more expensive brand. However, the Esatto staff tried to help, so perhaps they could also help you, or at least put you in touch with a repairer who knows the machine. Its not a good machine at all... so get a refund and dont buy this anymore

Hi Kylie, Check your warranty to see if you are still covered, and try emailing the following address. parts@residentialgroup.com.au and or ring 1300 117 727 (apologies if you’ve tried this already) You probably need a repairman so you should see if the Esatto team can put you on to someone who knows their brand. I only had my Esatto for a few weeks before returning it, but my problems were different to yours. I do remember the Esatto team were quite helpful, so it’s a pity you have not yet received a reply. This might be because of covid restrictions affecting their usual work hours.

Ive only had one for 2 weeks and it has flooded my laundry i took my dogs for a walk and came home to flooded laundry washing machine still filling with water didnt stop filling like it should have . Grrr. Mine just fills with water and wont stop filling to start wash cycle Grr but i turned it off then turned it on again and put it on spin and it drained the water out into the sink.But i tried it again and it doesnt know when to stop filling up the water.

Hi Mish, I returned my Esatto because it had a number of problems, and went back to a Fisher Paykel. It was far more expensive and I resented having to pay so much, but it is easy to operate, will do a small wash, and the operation is easy and straight forward without having to refer to the poorly explained directions in the Esatto manual. There have been quite a few consumers making complaints about their Esatto, and one would hope the manufacturers take note, because a cheaper no frills but reliable washing machine would be very welcome. To answer your question, I did not use the detergent dispenser at all, I put in the detergent at the start, then if I needed softener, I did separately by hand. I don’t think that you got ripped off, the Esatto is a cheap machine with limited functionality.

Hi Gabor, I no longer own an Esatto washing machine, therefore unable to be of assistance to you. The Esatto customer service team try to be helpful, but there may be some functions that are just not available, or your machine may be faulty. I now own a Fischer Paykel which has easy to understand controls, is reliable, can do short cycle washes, and single rinses. It was more expensive to buy, but I am entirely happy with it. I wish you well in your efforts with the Esatto and apologies for not being able to answer your question.

Hi Norma, I no longer have my Essato washing machine, I exchanged it for a Fischer and Paykel. When I looked up E3 in the manual, it said that it was related to the lid being up. However, if you can no longer operate the machine why don’t you ring the Essato office and ask them for support, they are usually very good with assistance.

Hi Norma, The above answer is correct usually the E3 error code is an issue with the lid. You can try resetting the machine by turning it off at the power for 20 minutes, but if that doesn't work please contact our service team on 1300 114 357. -Esatto Care Team

Same here. Doing a full load getting the E3 error constantly and obsessively. I want to return the machine with refund RIGHT NOW. This is a disgusting, pathetic and useless machine. Pathetic. Minus ratings.

Service Team didn't care put me on hold twice. I've given up with your useless E3 errors. Dont buy esatto. Warning to everyone here read it now don't buy esatto. Don't buy from Appliances Online.
