Essteele Per Moda
Nonstick started to stick after 5 months
Nonstick started to stick after 5 months. Tried to contact the customer service for warranty claim as it had lifetime warranty. But Essteele refused to replace or refund this as they insisted we didn't use the frypan properly. And it is so hard to clean it as well. Don't spend $150 on this that is not worth it. $30 from other brands will be better than this one.
Purchased in June 2018 at David Jones Online Store for $150.00.

Not as nonstick as traditional nonstick
I use these mainly to cook Indian egg, vegetable and occasionally fish dishes (mostly the 26 and 30cm ones - I don't use the 20cm one even though it came as part of a set, it's too small). Sadly the ceramic just isn't as good at traditional nonstick at preventing stuff from sticking to the pan, which will be particularly apparent if you cook eggs sunny side-up in them. Especially just for the price, it's just not worth it, especially as the handle on my 26cm came slightly loose (still usable though) after only a few months of use. All in all I ...Read more
would simply recommend getting some traditional nonstick instead, and it doesn't have to be as expensive (or heavy) as the Essteele Per Forza ones. My favourite pan, which gets the most use by far, is a Tefal made in France one (not Jaime Oliver) from a line that has unfortunately been discontinued, but hopefully the line made subsequently is just as good.Similar opinion? I love it!
I'm surprised by the negative reviews here. I've had my pan for about 3 months. It doesn't get used really often, but it's had a workout, and has never disappointed me. Nothing sticks to it, and it cleans up really easily. I loved it when I bought it, and I still do. I'm planning to by another, bigger one.

I wanted to love it but it was a fail
When I bought this pan I was in love. The first week was amazing....but by week two EVERYTHING was sticking to it. As expensive as this is, I would have expected better quality.

After 3 months - everything sticks to it
Treated it like a precious gift and was following all the instructions, however, after 1 month it everything was sticking to it and it was impossible to use. I complained about it as it had a lifetime warranty. Their customer service is great and they were very helpful and replaced the product. Unfortunately, their product is poor. The second pan lasted longer - 3 months and the same happened. I think Martin with his previous review is a member of their marketing team as noone writes reviews like his.

Non-stick coating does not last
This pan started off really well and I loved it. Now after 6 months it sticks with everything we cook. The pan has never been overheated; we use only moderate heat with it; it has never been in the dishwasher; we have never used metal utensils; and we wash it just with detergent and non- scratch sponge. Everything sticks to the pan now. Don't recommend it if you want non-stick surface.

Good product - works as per marketing claim
I bought a Estelle Per Moda stir-frying pan. I am curious about this pan performance, as it claims that it can stand high heat, which is essential for stir frying Asian style.
My points for this product:
1. ceramic coating - feels more healthier to cook on ceramic then Teflon coated cookware.
2. can work with my induction cooktop (SMEG)
3. I tried to fry eggs and bacon - both did not stick. I stir fried some veges with high heat - it performed very well for high-heat requirement for stir fry.
4. light weight and easy to hand wash.
5. Made...Read more

Essteele Per Moda Ceramic Cookware
So I am re-writing this review again after starting this review on a high and plumitting to a low score. I would like to settle on a score of 3.5/5 overall. I actually think the quality of this product is 4/5 but the ceramic coating technology as a whole is never going to be better than a 3.5/5 in my opinion, any coated pan will ultimately fail you. Yes this pan's non-stick performance did degrade despite very careful use and cleaning. What I have discovered is sometimes it can look clean but in fact it isn't. NEVER use abrasives or too much pr...Read more
essure you will ruin it guaranteed and it will never be the same. DO use my cleaning tips at the bottom of this review page and you will find you can restore some of the lost non-stick (assuming you haven't ruined the pan by overheating or scratching with abrasives). To sum this up: Asthetics/Looks/Ergonomics/Weight: 5/5 Even heating: 3.5/5 (some hot spots but I am using old electric coil stove) Non-stick when new: 5/5 Non-stick after 40+ uses: 3.5/5 (now) Ease to clean: 4/5 (not using normal cleaning techniques, see tips below)Similar opinion? How does one clean the inside if the frypan?
4 answers
The inside of frying pan is made of non-stick ceramic. I have so far only needed dishwashing liquid soap and a foam to clean it. So far no food residue sticks to the frying pan and cleaning it is as easy as washing a plate.
I think I must have left the stove on and it seems to have burnt the frypan. I tried everything and finally succumbed to a more abrasive cream solution. A bit like Jiff.
I made this mistake with another ceramic and it will never be the same. I use a chux micro-fibre dish cloth from coles and apply a lot of pressure with detergent for stubborn stains. Also use a plastic dish brush once soaked to loosen hard bits.
