Good build quality - just to hard for us
Unfortunately my wife and I just find this mattress too hard. We purchased a King less than a year ago and after a few weeks we noticed we both woke up sore. We have since tried sleeping on a softer mattress and find neither of us wake up with pain. We read all the literature on the website that suggested most people prefer a firmer mattress so we gave it a go. It didn't work for us so we are looking to buy another mattress now.
Build quality is very good.

This is a great mattress
This is a great mattress. Personally it took me a few weeks to get use to but I get a great night's sleep now my wife has a back Injury and has not had a good night's rest for many years but after sleeping on the eva mattress she wakes up pain free every day
I highly recomend this mattress to anyone it was the best choice we made purchasing this item and it was much cheaper than many other mattresses

Super comfy mattress!
The Eva mattress has a good combination of cushioning on the top, with an underlying firmness. It suits us well. It arrived promptly once available, and was easy to unroll and install. There is a slight odour immediately on unrolling, but this was dissipated enough to sleep on by that evening. Very satisfied with the mattress!

great mattress!
We've had an Eva mattress for a few months. We find the mattress very supportive; my husband has a sore back, which is much improved with this mattress.
No signs of sagging or change in shape or firmness; the mattress has a very firm feel to it, and the memory foam on top is very comfortable.

Great mattress, fantastic pillows.
I've been sleeping on my new king Eva for about ten days and I love it. It suits my odd sleeping style (most of the time on my stomach, sometimes on my side) and regulates temperature well. ou the "vacuum-sealed" effect common to most memory foam pillows, where the solid foam blocks your ear and amplifies the sound of your own breathing. It's great for stomach sleepers, because the edges are firmer than the middle, thus avoiding the nostril-crush that occurs with pillows whose edges taper off. My husband, a side sleeper with broad shoulders, also finds it perfect. The only quibble I had was with the lame courier company (Hunter Express), who scheduled delivery for Monday, arrived the previous Wednesday to find us out of the house, and after I called them to reschedule delivery for Friday, turned up on Thursday instead. Besides that, I'd recommend Eva to anyone looking for a new mattress.Purchased in October 2020 for A$1,150.00.

Super comforable
I have had the mattress for 9 month now and found it to be very comfortable. I often used to get back aches before getting this bed, but not been an issue since. The only issue I have with it is that it is very thick, so when put on a standard base it is relatively high, which makes it not so good for sitting on and it is a bit more difficult have to reach down to put on your shoes and socks. Not something you think of when you are buying a bed, but something you notice when you go to do it every day.

Too firm for me but customer service was great
Ordered the Eva on recommendation from a friend. I ended up with an extended trial period because COVID-19 prevented returns for a while so I tried it for about 5 months.
Unfortunately I found it way too firm for my liking. I woke up with lower back pain daily and also pains in my hip and shoulder. (I'm a side sleeper, around 90kg.) Eva sent me a mattress topper which helped a little bit but it still caused me pain.

challenge for a smaller person. Having said that, it did seem really sturdy and well constructed. I think the quality was good, it just wasn't the right fit for me personally. The thing I was most impressed with was the customer service. The company was very responsive and usually replied to emails within a few hours. The return process was easy. Why did it take so long to find them?
We are simply LOVING your mattress. Delivery was so fast. We didn’t expect to see the mattress for at least a week or more, let alone in a couple of days.
We could not wait to unpack our new bed. We had a lot of laughs unwrapping the actual mattress, there seemed to be miles of the plastic. The mattress inflated so rapidly and we are still trying to work out how the springs in the mattress can do such a great job after being compacted like they were.

Great Mattress
Very happy with mattress, firm and comfortable. I have a hip issue which hasn't been a problem since sleeping on this mattress. Slight issue with delivery but I recommend the mattress - this is the second one I have purchased. Bought first one for my caravan and so happy with it that I bought one for home.

Great Value
Our Eva experience was very good ordered on a Friday and it came at 8.30am on the following Monday.
I have tried many mattresses over the past 10 years and have not been able to find one that we've been happy with. So after some extensive research decided to give the Eva a go.

Fantastic
This was our first mattress-in-a-box purchase and we weren't disappointed. Eva mattresses were well reviewed and were happy we made the choice to purchase from Eva. Everything as described - firmness, support, comfort and no partner disturbance. Would recommend to others looking for this type of mattress. I wanted to wait a couple of weeks before reviewing, but there was little adjustment from our previous mattress and we are sleeping very comfortably. Nice work guys.

Eva's Customer Service is Second to Non
My review is about Eva Mattress's customer service
I bought a queen size Eva mattress on 23/10/2019.
I had a delivery issue after I bought it and I had the good fortune of dealing with Kaya. The information hadn't gone to the transport company and the mattress didn't get delivered on the specified day. Kaya went out of her way to make sure it was delivered the day after and personally took responsibility. She also offered me a $150 refund and a $50 voucher of my choice for their blunder! After receiving such great customer service from Kaya, I really hoped and wanted the mattress to be comfortable for my partner and myself. From the first night's sleep we felt it was a little firmer than the mattresses we have slept on previously but wanted to give it a fair go and sleep on it for the minimum 30 day trial. Unfortunately after the 30 days the firmness didn't get softer. I emailed Eva about it and Kaya replied back suggesting they send a mattress topper for free which should make the mattress softer. As the mattress is already 32cm high, the topper was going to add another 5cm to that. My partner being short in stature said it will make it difficult for her to get on the mattress. So I kindly asked Kaya for a refund. She was very understanding and without hesitation she said she'll organise for the mattress to be picked up by The Salvation Army and they'll contact me soon. The following day I received the email from The Salvos confirming a pickup day and time in 2 weeks. Once the mattress was picked up by The Salvos crew, I got an email from Eva the next day confirming my refund. The whole experience from buying the mattress from Eva to getting the refund was smooth and faultless. Although their mattress was not for us, I cannot recommend Eva highly enough for anyone who'd like a mattress with a medium firm feel. Their mattress is of very high quality and for the price they charge it is of great value. It's just unfortunate that we were not 100% comfortable on it. Thank you Eva and especially to Kaya and we will definitely be recommending your mattress to everyone we know that likes a medium feel :)Purchased in October 2019 for A$750.00.

Great mattress!
We have had our Eva mattress for almost two weeks now and love it. If you are after a firm, but not rock hard mattress, Eva is the way to go. I also love that it is an Australian owned and made product and even better, for every 10 mattresses Eva sells they donate one to charity.

Which is better Eva or Sleeping duck?

I did a lot of research and bought a King size Eva mattress for our existing timber slat base. It doesn't have the re-zonability that Sleeping Duck has, but the Eva is an incredibly comfortable inner spring mattress with cool foam topping. Somehow it's firm yet soft at the same time and I have never slept better. My only caveat is that it is heavy to move. We love our Eva and it's half the price of Sleeping Duck.
I second Andrew-Morriset’s opinion. The Eva is “somehow” firm+supportive yet soft+comfy, and half the price of the Sleeping Duck. Sleeping Duck’s customisation isn’t high on my priority for I don’t think I am the “princess and the pea” kind of sensitive sleeper (but am curious to know how others find this aspect of the Sleeping Duck!). Admittedly, I have also considered other very closely-competing mattresses like Sleep Republic, Sherman, Macoda and Naptime, but being on Jobkeeper meant that every multiple of $50 I can save counts... and so it was the Eva when it came to how much I could save while balancing getting the best possible support/comfort/quality for a mattress. Eva’s hefty weight doesn’t bother me - gives me a good reason to maintain my physical strength and mobility! HTH!

the Eva mattress is about 35cm thick and very firm. It would be fine on the floor if that's comfortable for you. (It would be too low for me). You don't need to flip the mattress as the memory foam is on the top, just rotate it every few months (turn it around so you swap the head end with the foot end.)
Keeping any mattress on the floor will lead to mould as there is no aeration on the bottom.
