Ive had an Evakool esky for 18months. From new i hant noticed a gap in the seal or that the drain plug leaked. After an email they sent all new.

Hi I have a travelmate 60 absolutely love the fridge it works very well and is coming in handy as a second freezer during the corona virus.
My only concern is it is much noise than my old Waco 45
The noise is like a swishing sound when it cycles like fluid swishing through pipes that lasts for up to 5 min every 15 to 20 min, it is quite loud you could not sleep with the fringe near by or in same room. Is this normal. As this is quite disappointing.
You can’t here it in the car when the car is running but when stopped it’s back to swishing again.

Hi Dayle ,my fridge does make a sound like your describing but not to a point where it bothers me. Sometimes I have my fridge out of the car and set up beside the caravan, but the noise isn’t loud enough to bother us.

Can the fridge/freezer operate together and does the lid come off?
Thanks in advance

The fridge/freezer can operate at same time, but I’ve struggled to get it down to freezing on a 40 degree+ day. I use mine as fridge only, one section drinks, one section food with the small section for dairy e.t.c.

Hey Ray - yes, the lid's are bi-directional opening and completely removable. This fridge can also operate as a fridge and a freezer at the same time!
