Poor quality...very slow
Frames broke within one week. During a phone call, I was told I could not purchase frame only, had to purchase frame with lens. How long does it take to collect stock frame, with stock lens? Try three weeks, and still waiting for delivery.
Cannot claim on Australian health insurance
The glasses are fine, but if you are planning on claiming this on optical extras insurance in Australia you won't be able to as they don't have an Australian business/ABN so HBF rejected the claim saying:
"We are unable to pay a benefit for this provider because at the date of treatment, the services were provided outside of Australia. Legislation prohibits all health funds from paying benefits for treatment,
services and products received or purchased outside of Australia."

Delivery Service is extremely terrible
I order my glasses on the January 20th and they said on February 3rd it’ll be shipped by then I’ve waiting 20 days and it still hasn’t came and I have astigmatism for 6 years and my eye sight is incredibly terrible and I really need it never buying they’re glasses after this.

Very bad experience. Do not buy glasses there.
Very bad experience, extremely disappointed by the quality of glasses with a broken frame after 2 months after no particular damage/reason. Lens of equal poor quality for 1 total of $135. Don't buy anything there. No refund offered even partial, a second similar pair may or may not be shipped, I don't care. Not recommended.

Horrible service. Don’t bother.
On week six of what was supposed to be 1 week turn around on my glasses. Terrible call centre team. No help. Same vague answer every time. I’m told “1-3 days” and “we’ve escalated your order” every 3 days since it’s been delayed. Still nothing. Promised a follow up email call after every phone call and nothing. I’m gonna wait 2 more days and cancel my order and lodge a dispute with PayPal as I assume they’ll be just as difficult to deal with for a refund.

They were very accommodating.
Was not happy with the sunglasses I received, phone the appropriate number, explained the problem. Was offered another style of glasses, received a part refund, and just picked up replacement glasses from post office. Very impressed with the service and email updates.

I have used a different online service before but their prices have shot up so I looked around and discovered EyeBuyDirect. I had already ordered a new pair with all the coatings from a local optical chain (which, once you add in all the coatings can become quite pricey) and so I had an up to date script. Read morek. My new glasses arrived as described two weeks later, well packed and they were perfect in build quality and optical clarity. So I would recommend this company to anyone who is sick of paying high prices at local services who charge through the roof when you start adding simple coatings like scratch protection. My only beef with EyeBuyDirect is once they have your email address you get bombarded with advertising emails from them nearly every day. They should curtail this to, perhaps, once a month or so.- 2 reviews

Pretty darn good!
There's plenty of reviews here that aren't great, but most seem to be about delivery times. It took ages, that's fine, nothing has been quick when ordering during the pandemic.
But these, I just got them, and both my pairs are great. I've never ordered glasses online before, but thought I'd try. $200 for two pairs, one with transitions, and delivery included in that 200 is insane.
I expected something to be wrong with the lens, assuming I'd messed up the prescription but it's perfect.

Worst service
Took ages for order to process. Quality check lasted weeks. They charged for Express post and they are nowhere. After contacting the customer service they keep telling you that it is under quality check, I wonder what it takes to check a pair of glasses.

Has CRACKED within days :(
Had to edit the original post due to the immediate development after product use:
Honest review-
To begin with the experience was good and timely but within days of wearing ( I wear different pairs for different times of day or mood and this one has cracked within 5-6th wearing!
That’s not even a cumulative 24 HRS if I have to really do the math..
(and here I was literally searching styles to order another couple this morning)
The nose pad has a crack and right lens is moving/wobbly now.
REALLY DISAPPOINTED . I mean kids toy glasses last longer than this. I have frames that I wear around the house and they are going great even after 7-12 years hence in utter disbelief....

I am so disappointed with their services and will never shop there again.
I ordered my glasses over a month ago, and because it was late, I kept getting in touch with their customer service. Every time I did that, they gave me a different arrival date and said a representative would get in touch within 24 to 48 hours to give me updates. Needless to say that they NEVER got in touch, and I kept having to do that over and over again without actually resolving my problem.
Prescription glasses are essential and you should have a little bit more respect for your customers.

Good product, although a bit late on arrival
The website was very intuitive, managed to put in the details easily. Product came in 3-4 weeks later compared to the assigned 2 weeks. However, got my lenses as specified and frame is quite nice, and pricewise its very reasonable. If you need your glasses ASAP, then you may need to think about it especially with christmas coming up. However, if you can wait then go for it. Customer service is quite nice too, I wasn't worried about the company losing my glasses. Overall, would definitely buy more products in the future.

I was nervous because of the reviews....
OPSM quoted me over $900 for a pair of multifocals, despite choosing one of the cheapest frames. This is prohibitively expensive for me, so I sought out a pair online. I have probably bought my last 15 pairs online, I have even bought adequate single lens glasses for $15 (Zinnius) and I usually shop at Clearly, so the process is not new for me. Read morer delivery, however, I felt this was unreasonable - you are buying overseas in the middle of a pandemic and expecting your glasses in a week? That is unrealistic. I have bought glasses online from an Australian store not in pandemic times and it took a fortnight. I made my purchase on 15/10 and they arrive today 4/11, a full three weeks later. I think this is very reasonable. Now for the glasses - I chose multifocals, went top of the range with all lens options (including transitions and blue light, etc) and the whole thing cost me $328. WAY more affordable than the $950 from OPSM and I got all the bells and whistles on my frames. I am super happy with them, they are high quality, came well packaged and secure and the fit is good from following all their guides. My only criticism is that the glasses come in those flimsy cloth pouches, I would be hoping for a hard case, but I obviously already have a million at home from other pairs. I think I had the option to purchase one on checkout, but didn't. 2-3 weeks normally and I order them yearly. But with covid, around a month. It's more due to Auspost delays though as I can see my current package just sitting there for 2 weeks now.
