Been waiting for a response on a defect for over a month with no response
Orders lots of furniture from this store, Got few of them delivered on 01-Jul-2020. TV Unit has couple of defects, doors wont close properly, there is a hole and a chip in the TV unit. Sent them multiple emails, response was that they would need to check with the supplier which will take 15 business days. it has been over 22 business days and still no response.
Apart from this issue, still waiting for my buffet and dining chairs, have been calling them over the past 1 month, was told they'll be delivered by 20-Jul-2020 which never happened. ca...lled them again 22-jul-2020 asking for an update, was told I was wrongly advised about the delivery as they were still waiting on stock, however this time was assured that I'll get my buffet and dining chairs by 30-Jul-2020 which they again missed. On call with them right now, store rep tells me their colleague was wrong in advising me of the delivery date as the stock is still at warehouse and can't expect delivery any time soon. Writing a review so that Fantastic Furniture takes it seriously.
It is a crap store to buy from you get one answer and it’s different to what you get.
Pls nobody buy from Fantastic Furniture Maribyrnong. You get your stuff late and if something is wrong it never gets solved. Wasted your money and time. No one helps you.

Best customer service there is
We got several products from FF, which we were always happy with. Once we had to make a claim, the team at Moore Park (and customer care colleges online) went above and beyond to get it all sorted out for us. One of the best customer services I have ever experienced. Highly recommended!
Very helpful and accommodating staff. Quality and value for money furniture! Buying more, our one stop shop for furniture! Furniture was easy to assemble and durable in our kids rooms.

Deceitful Incompetent Appalling customer service
15 May 2020 attended store and chose fabric for bed head and paid $199. Told due to Coronavirus it would take 6 weeks to be manufactured in Sydney warehouse. Reassured all Australian made. 25 May 2020 I discovered on invoice staff had placed order incorrectly in different fabric.( had photo in store to prove). Told it would take another 6 weeks as it would be a new order. Complaint via customer service centre reassured they called manufacturer ensuring it be made asap. I called again 13 June-“ should be here in 2 weeks” Called again early July...- not able to speak to a manager at the store, referred back to call centre, claimed on its way to Maroochydore and instead of pick up the store will call and arrange delivery within the next week. Called again today, 11 weeks since placing and paying for a simple bed head. Had to place a few calls because cut off and refused to be put through to store manager. Store number diverts to call centre. Store staff refused to put me through to store manager- cut me off. No call back. Again call centre supervisor refused to transfer to store manager, “no phone lists” he deals with complaints, refused to identify person from last call few weeks ago though I believe it to be himself- pommy accent- and again no particular ownership of the problem or delay, supposed to already be at Maroochydore over 2 weeks ago but blames the pandemic for lack of follow up and delivery. Don’t take customers for fools. You’ve already been taken to the ACCC and had judgments against you. Claiming a refund will take another 5 days is appalling. As far as I’m concerned you’ve taken the money and not delivered the goods. Deceitful Incompetent Appalling customer service No Accountability whatsoever from any level of the organisation. The reason I ordered it in the first place was I was finally replacing a previous purchase from you- a dark grey bed head - was delivered a black bed head once the wrapping removed. Pay peanuts get monkeys. May need to warn customers entering your store of the level of service, quality of goods , lies and unacceptable delays even in the midst of a pandemic.
I had the unfortunate trip to the Burwood store on the 23rd of July, and had a terrible confrontation with the store manager, rude and condescending. No customer service, I don't like being spoken to as he did "listen buddy" is no way to speak to a customer. I have emailed customer service, but I haven't received a reply, looks like customer service is not an important issue with this company. Anyway, give Burwood a miss people, I will be.

How long can it take to make a box?
We purchased a couch and a storage ottoman on the 26/May and finialised payment the next day. We were told it may take 6-8 weeks to get here. We called after 8 weeks were up to check on our order and were told that the couch was ready but not the storage ottoman, and that the ottoman should have arrived on the 9th of July but didn't "So we'll see whats on the next truck". They offered to deliver the couch by itself but then we'd need to pay a second delivery fee to get the ottoman sent out. Not sure how it's our fault that they haven't done the...ir job. It has now been 9 weeks and we were just told that it still hasn't arrived and that they'll check if it comes in on the next truck, which will have been 10 weeks minimum. In both conversations the staff made absolutely no attempt to find out why it's taking so long and simply said "We'll see if it's on the next truck". Unacceptable.
We bought two items from them on 10/05/20, one came 7 weeks later the other has never showed up, it's been almost 11 weeks now, still waiting and all we keep hearing seems to be lies. last week was 'we have the item in the store house awaiting dispatch so it should arrive in a few days' , then we called again a few days later and we're told it's not even arrived in Australia, that its in transit, they blame the supplier due to covid-19. We understand things are tough, all we ask is for honesty. At this rate if we were to import a car from japan, the car would definitely get here before our Fantastic furniture order. Highly recommend not to purchase anything if it's not in store!
Ordered a couch in May, still waiting for it, unable to advise when it might be arriving, no response to my online order follow up even though they said 24 hours that was 5 days ago. All round an extremly poor customer service experience. Dont recommend this company and wont ne shopping there again
Amazing Customer Service Belrose Store
Recently bought the Hamilton TV Unit July 2020, a beautiful piece but sadly the paint had some visible chips on the edge likely caused during manufacture. The manager at the Belrose store was incredibly helpful, offered to personally pickup a replacement for me from another nearby store the next morning and bring in store for me to swap, and also offered a gift card for the inconvenience. Super helpful Manager who was very understanding and keen to assist and resolve the matter - and went the extra mile (literally) to do so. So refreshing, a very positive experience, a wonderful store manager who truly looks after his customers. Thank you Belrose Team
Just what I wanted.
Have purchased quite a few lots lot furniture from fantastic. Very happy with all, staff are super friendly and helpful at West Gosford. Shop has plenty of parking and easy to find.
They don’t honour their guarantee
Two items bought, and they offer a product warranty. They didn’t honour this and passed me around and never called back when they said they would. Be wary of their warranty and promises. Also the products were heavily souses in chemicals and the sponge went on the sofa within 12 months.
Terrible customer service, false promises and very bad time line on delivery
I have ordered two sets of furniture in the Auburn Branch last June and to date had not arrived yet. Understand there is delay and the receipt clearly says around 4 to 7 weeks delivery however there is not even a single follow up from them on ETA, I have to always call them and chased them on the delivery update every week and I also send email to their customer service but not even a single reply was received. This is a terrible customer experience and I wish I never ordered from this shop.
Very poor delivery and customer service
I would like to express my disappointment of your delivery and transparency. In Jun 27th purchased 2 sets of furniture from Castle Hill store, based on store manager the items must be delivered within 2-3 weeks. Now, after almost 4 weeks, still no items have been delivered. The company has given me an unknown delivery date due to its low stock on hand.
I've received messages threatening me to remove my negative feedback of company's Facebook page.
Crap company, dishonest and unreliable. If your want to waste your money and time, strongly suggest Fantastic Furniture to you.
Long Waits and False Promises
Very disappointed in Fantastic Furniture Auburn. However I went to the Prospect store and the girl there was lovely, she told me they didn’t have all of the stock of what I wanted and wouldn’t for another 6-8 weeks. She suggested I go to Auburn because they had some of what I needed and the rest would come in by the end of July.
So I placed my order with Auburn, I confirmed that the things they already had in stock would be assigned to me and the rest would come in by the end of July. Now we’re getting towards the end of July and everything ha...
I was served by Darren on sunday 18th july who was fantastic nothing was a trouble and he was very very helpful with my purchase so will be back to purchase more hope he will be there again to serve me
Capri Plush Mattress. Surprise Surprise.
After a trip to visit my son in Sydney and going with him to a Fantastic Furniture shop where he bought a new lounge i looked a some matresses. I wrote the name of very comfortable one down...A couple of days later at home I got a message on my phone saying my order was ready to be picked up at West Gosford. I deleted it.I'm not good with the phone and after a couple more of the same message I rang totally clueless. I spoke to Irene and asked if they could stop sending the messages to my number.. She was great and checked my phone number e...tc my boys had bought the mattress for me as a surprise.It was...I asked if I could have it delivered and paid a very small fee to do so...It arrived at 5.20pm on Saturday up the stairs came 2 courteous young men (1 had the most fabulous pink hair) with this new mattress. I have had many many deliveries over the years but never one that made me so happy. The guys had two more drop offs to go after a 4am start and were just lovely...All in all I can only highlt recommend Fantastic Furniture West Godford A1 in every aspect. I have had the most comfotable sleep I've had in 40 yrs woken up with no sore hips and have spent a fortune on matresses over the past 4and half years this is my 4th and will be my last a "Capri" Plush Mattress.
Never have any stock have to wait weeks so I buy from other suppliers online and have it iwithin 3 days. Have just re furnished my whole house from online ( not fantastic furniture) because everything I went to fantastic furniture for had to be ordered in with a 3 to 4 week wait. Would rather of shopped local and I tried but sorry can’t wait weeks for it. The staff are nice and it’s a nice place to go but unfortunately nothing is ever available on the day so have to shop elsewhere. Over the years I have been so frustrated trying to get what I want from fantastic furniture only to be told it has to be ordered in and it will take weeks.
Stay away - damaged goods, awful service
I purchased a sofa in March and it was delivered with multiple stains on the fabric. I called the store within an hour of it being delivered and was advised to send through an email with photos attached which I did right away. After a few days with no response, I called the store and spoke to someone who advised to resend the email which I did and they confirmed they received it whilst I was on the phone. I asked for an exchange which they said wouldn't be a problem and that the team would be in touch to schedule this in. Another week goes by w...ith no response so I call back and speak to someone else who says there is nothing documented for my exchange but that again, they would organise for the team to be in touch to schedule this in. Again, no further contact. I left a review on the official website detailing my terrible experience, asking to be contacted in writing so this issue can be rectified however I never received any communication. At this point, COVID came into effect and it wasn't safe to pursue this further. I still don't have a resolution even after speaking with multiple staff and having an email trail dating back 5 months. I paid full price and delivery for goods which were delivered damaged and they have taken no steps to resolve this. This company is a scam! Stay away!
