Product delivered without proper check .
We bought a three door wardrobe and delivered a product without proper instructions at all . I think they assumed we can assemble it by guessing our self . I contact to customer service and he told me forwarded my complaint to store . But unfortunately they didn’t even bother to call me back . What a service. I won’t recommend anyone to go through this hassle.

miami chaise 3 - Not able to attached the silver colour legs
one of the small seperate section had a sticker to make a hole but the main one doesnt seems to have any stickers and the hole is too small for the nail that provided.. I think its manufacturing defect. When you visit the store or call they asked to email with photos and They take so long to get back to you. When you want to speak to the manager (I think the name is [name removed]) she at lunch!!
After waiting over 2 months we already moved it upstairs and the person I spoke to adv they can refund if we bring back the item which is inconvenience for us.. No apologies or at least no offer to pick up the item..
If you want better service, please don’t order from them..

Not angry...just disappointed
Ordered the Java dining set from fantastic furniture in hoppers crossing and have had nothing but problems.
1. Picked up our table and while attaching the table leg to the table one of the inset screws fell out. Still waiting to here back about a solution.
2. A week later went to pick up our chairs only to find out there were pieces missing. Called to ask about it and was told we had to go out to the store to sort it out. Living in the city without a car and working full time it wasnt easy to sort out picking it up let alone going out there ...Read more
to sort out a mistake the store made. 3. One of the chairs has been manufactured wrong. Holes not lining up with screw holes and bracing on wrong side. Just cannot be put together. Mistakes happen and that's understandable but it's just when there is no understanding from the business that we have a problem with. Being met with silence when asking if there was another way we could get the parts sent to us is not really a solution. It seems as if we are just another customer complaining and have just been brushed aside.1 comment

The worst customer service experience. Just terrible
I went to the Hoppers Crossing store and purchased a dining table and 4 chairs on the 1st of November 2020. I was told that only 2 chairs were in stock and that the other 2 would be available in 2 weeks' time and that I would be notified once the chairs arrived. I said I was happy to take the dining table with 2 chairs first and then pick up the other 2 chairs when it arrived at the store. I waited for 2 weeks and then 3

Java Buffet - love it!
I had been searching for a buffet for over a month, and I couldn’t find one that caught my eye, even with a budget of $2k. But then I came across this beauty on Instagram. I immediately got on line and purchased. I paid a couple of guys to assemble it for me which they did in 30mins!
It’s very sturdy and I love it.

Fantastic customer service
Was easy to navigate to the store.
I feel a more varied 'Click and Collect' would be very beneficial however you can still get great products.
I choose to buy from fantastic furniture because of the quality of their metal framed beds (I've had one for 4 years).
Very easy to assemble (I did it mostly by myself).

Great customer service
Store was busy but one team member was acknowledging all customers who were waiting. Well organized to ensure all customers are acknowledged. Customers service representatives were tied from too many customer in store but they still ensure to be positive, energetic and friendly .

Racist comments made by staff. Won’t return a sealed item because we could not return in 60 days due to lockdown in VIC
Purchased a side table on 22/6. We tried to return it in sealed condition and the return was refused as the purchase was over 60 days old.
We repeatedly mentioned that we could not come within the 60 days timeframe as per lockdown restrictions in VIC. We live more than 5km away. Staff was very rude and made racist comments during our attempt to return at the store.
This is my last purchase from this store and Fantastic furniture in general.

Bought my furniture however as they were delivered i noticed It does not suit my loungroom! Called them and asked for return and refund ! The lady rudely said you can not change your mind ! I was like how come you say 60 days change of mind on the website then ?and she was so rude and abrupt! Saying no you can't because you have opened the box.... !!!! I was like what does change of mind mean then !!! Long stroy short one of the worst places to buy furniture from ! I eded up returning them after talking to costumer care team... but they need to sack some of their staff or I don't think anything good will come out of it 8n 9ng term!

I had a click and collect order which was fast and easy
It was easy to arrange for quick click and collect, ready in under 60 minutes. Really happy with the mattress purchased. It is really comfortable. Came in a box and was easy to open.

A waste of money.
I have shopped with Fantastic Furniture man times over the years, so when it came time to purchase a new sofa in September 2018 it seemed like the logical choice. BIG mistake. Our couch arrived within the time frame specified and it looked like what we ordered. However, within weeks we could see the fabric joins starting to come apart, I contacted the store about this and was asked over and over to provided photos. picked up the cushions in July 2019 and by October we could see the same issue again. Now 12 months later there are holes all over the couch, fabric fraying and it looks absolutely terrible. I paid additional for fabric protection and to be honest that's a waste of money too. Just wiping with water leaves disgusting stains on the fabric. I am incredibly disappointed in the poor quality, its the age old story of "you get what you pay for." Now off to buy some slip covers to hopefully salvage this monstrosity.1 comment

Terrible customer service
I purchased two sofas from this store a three and two seater. The three seater was delivered to my garage and left there due to COVID despite no discounts being offered on the delivery fee. At 50kg and bulky I could not get it into my home. I immediately asked the store to pick it up the delivery driver initially answers my call then diverts it and never calls me back. I contacted “Ryan” for online customer care after having zero joy with the Hoppers store. After ten Emails and many photos “Ryan” diverted me back to the store!!!! Will not shop here again. The sofa is uncomfortable the cushions slide out and sink after mere minutes sitting on them. Follow up care is the worst I’ve ever experienced. Been waiting for a response on a defect for over a month with no response
Orders lots of furniture from this store, Got few of them delivered on 01-Jul-2020. TV Unit has couple of defects, doors wont close properly, there is a hole and a chip in the TV unit. Sent them multiple emails, response was that they would need to check with the supplier which will take 15 business days. it has been over 22 business days and still no response.
Apart from this issue, still waiting for my buffet and dining chairs, have been calling them over the past 1 month, was told they'll be delivered by 20-Jul-2020 which never happened. ca...Read more
lled them again 22-jul-2020 asking for an update, was told I was wrongly advised about the delivery as they were still waiting on stock, however this time was assured that I'll get my buffet and dining chairs by 30-Jul-2020 which they again missed. On call with them right now, store rep tells me their colleague was wrong in advising me of the delivery date as the stock is still at warehouse and can't expect delivery any time soon. Very disappointed!!
We bought two items from them on 10/05/20, one came 7 weeks later the other has never showed up, it's been almost 11 weeks now, still waiting and all we keep hearing seems to be lies. last week was 'we have the item in the store house awaiting dispatch so it should arrive in a few days' , then we called again a few days later and we're told it's not even arrived in Australia, that its in transit, they blame the supplier due to covid-19. We understand things are tough, all we ask is for honesty. At this rate if we were to import a car from japan, the car would definitely get here before our Fantastic furniture order. Highly recommend not to purchase anything if it's not in store!

Disobeying of the covid-19 restrictions placed by the government
I went into the hoppers crossing store yesterday and was incredibly disappointed, unsatisfied and disgusted by the lack of masks worn by the employees present. I felt repulsed to walk around the store or even touch the furniture as I was unsure wether it had been sanitised. Their inability to abide by the current restrictions that have been placed is why our community is currently facing such high cases. Please change this as you are letting others down. We are in the middle of a global crisis and none of you seem to care, start taking some needed ACTION. !!!

Terrible service and delivery
The delivery and service is terrible I had a delivery today 10.5.20 when the truck arrived they only had half of the items so I rang fantastic furniture and they told me that they had lost the other part so now we have to wait a week for this not happy I will never buy from this location again be aware people

Faulty Product. Terrible customer service.
Received a faulty futon, with the bottom part where the legs go are assemble backwards. Realised after it took me an hour to put up.
Called the store only to be treated with one of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The lady on the phone told me I had to wait a minimum of 8 weeks for a new one, after I said this was unacceptable and advised her there was one available in the Ballarat store. She offered to bring that one to this store to get it replaced.

I said to her there should be some sort of compensation to make up for this issue, she argued that “business are struggling” and they don’t offer compensation other than swapping it over. Which, considering how a lot of the products are on back order and the stores are always full I doubt this store is struggling. As someone who works in retail I know that when you do something wrong as a company, you are in the necessity to make it right and exchange a faulty product but you can also offer some sort of compensation to make up for the hassle.1 comment
