Mattress complaint I was told by staff member the firm mattress is more like a medium took her word for it got delivered yesterday it’s as hard as a rock no good to me after trying the in store on it did seem like a medium and now I can guess why hundreds of people have used it, I was told to keep sleeping on it , it will get better crazy. Customer service should be NO service for customers be careful try all of the different ones I don’t know if there was a push to get rid of the firm one but was not even encouraged to try any other one

Well fantastic Furniture don’t answer when you have a complaint. I complained about the lack of service and knowledge of staff to do with a mattress purchase they won’t answer their phone when you call you have to leave a message and no return call after 2 weeks let’s see how I go this time I will now go to their Facebook site and try to get a result

They have not replied AT ALL. Mattress sagged in a matter of 3 weeks. And now customer care don't seem to bother one bit. Horrible after sales and high 'Don't care unless its a sale' feature.
Amazing service and products!
Friendly, patient and helpful staff. Great range of quality products that were easy to assemble. Fast delivery. Was easy to find exactly what we were looking for in the showroom.
Better Handling of Damaged Items
This store needs a better process to manage items that have been returned because of damage. It seems that they re-sold an item (to me) that has been returned by a previous customer.
A screw hole collapsed when someone tried to use a powertool to put the screws on, with the damaged screw still left in the hole. There were also 2 missing screws.
The packaging was also different, compared to the new stock i received from the Thomastown store.

Showroom makes the difference
Great affordable furniture, if unsure of the materials that you will get simply go and check them at the showroom. You will like them. If they dont have it in stock then The waiting times they gave us were just a week, thats great.

Gorgeous bed and it was great value for money have seen it for double the price elsewhere also customer service @ FFNorthland was fantastic great communication and super fast delivery thanks!
Great help from staff in store
Very easy to navigate and very satisfied with range of products available. Furniture is quite easy to assemble in our apartment.
Although the customer service in store was impeccable, the product itself was not worth the money in any way. The fabric pills very easily, and the main issue that truly gets on my nerves is the lack of stability on this sofa. It creaks upon every single move, the legs rock back and forth to the point where it feels like a rocking chair. The legs/support brackets are so poorly fitted to this sofa that no matter how much you tighten them it seems to get worse with every shift of your body weight. It has annoyed me so much that I don't enjoy sitting on this sofa at all. This sofa has not yet reached 12 months in my home and I cannot wait to replace it with something that is not from Fantastic Furniture.

Less than fantastic in every way
I purchased an Alpha 2 Door Utility Cabinet from Fantastic Furniture. When I assembled the cabinet, I realised that the pieces didn’t align correctly and on completion, it looked cheap and wonky. I had followed the instructions carefully and even tried taking it apart and reassembling it, but with the same result. I contacted customer care in the hope that this could arrange the cabinet to be collected as the item was clearly faulty. I didn’t hear back from my message, despite the claim that they respond within 24 hours. I also realised I had misplaced my receipt for this item and contacted them again a week later asking for advice. Again, no response. With much difficulty I got the assembled cabinet into my car to return to the store, and printed my bank statement listing the transaction as proof of purchase. I felt that the assembled product would make it easier to demonstrate the fault with the item. I went to the Northland store where the item was purchased and explained the situation. The sales person would not accept my bank statement as proof of purchase, and was not able to find my details on their system. She gave me the phone number for “head office” and said I would need to call them for the receipt number. I was the only person in the store and I feel that she could have called head office herself for the receipt number, especially since they had sold me a faulty item and had not recorded my details as they should have. I rang the number she had given me for the “head office” which turned out to be another store and not the office I needed to speak to. That store redirected my call to customer care, where I was directed to leave a message and they would call me back. After waiting hours, I found the direct number for customer care and spoke to someone who was not able to find my receipt number. He said he would need to speak to the finance department and call me back. Hours late I received an email with my receipt number. I went back to the store and explained the situation to the people at the front desk. They advised that I would need to take the cabinet to the depot out the back before they could process my refund. I explained that the cabinet was assembled, and one of the women said that accepting returns in this way was against their policy and there was nothing that they could do. I was confused and thought she meant they couldn’t accept it, but then she said that they would take the return and she was “doing me a favour”. I drove around the back to find the depot and found no signage to indicate the entrance. I drove around three times trying to locate it, and on the third spoke to a couple who had also had difficulty finding it and had to be redirected by another store depot. We rang the bell three times whilst standing in the cold and rain. I eventually called the store who asked me if I’d rung the bell. She said she would send someone out who eventually let us in. They were able to process my refund in a reasonable time once they had the cabinet.
The whole experience has been infuriating and a massive waste of time. Rubbish product, rubbish costumer service. Do YOURSELF a favour and shop at Ikea.

The flat pack furniture was easy to build, locations everywhere and easily within driving distance, staff at the warehouse were extremely friendly and efficient in having our products ready!

Assembly was very easy.

Renovating and always on the hunt for design ideas
I was very satisfied and Christine knew her stock well which I do find very professional. I feel it is extremely important for all staff to stay up to date on all collections
Store layed out very well and able to progress from all types of furniture soft and otherwise in a u shape. No interferreance from staff aside from welcome.
Looking for a bed head?
I was looking for a bed head for spare room. I didn't want to pay $500, as quoted in other bed shops nearby. It would cost $120 to make plus my time. Good product range, helpful staff, value for money, delivery possible. Wouldn't normally enter Fantastic- glad I did as I found what I wanted at the price I wanted, $150- saved my time!
Still have no information about where my order is.... It has been 3 days and just says pending
I bought online. The product choice is pretty good to my taste. And the website is easy to use. They also have good payment methods available. Overall I enjoy shopping online with them, however a tracking of the order once it has been purchased would definitely have maid my experience better. On the website it mentions it will take between 3 to 10 days for the delivery depending on the product availability. However once you have done your order, it would be great to get a message informing you if your product is in stock, if it is on it's way, if it's still at the depot,..... for example. Just to have an idea if it will take the full 10 days or less for the delivery.
