Customer service better than their software service
Update: after one week, one guy from the service team started to follow up the complaint until my bond has been fully returned.
I booked end of lease cleaning on 9am while it was not started until 4pm, and I couldn't contact anyone during this time. They didn't clean mould on the wall and didn't tell me until the next day, which is my final inspection. I complained to Customer service, but they didn't try to resolve my problem, instead, they just keep giving me excuses.
Although it took me one month to get the bond back, I appreciate their patient to resolve the issue.
However, I don't think their software service could be improved to the quality of their customer service.

Service was fine, but customer support is atrocious
The actual service was fine; but the scope was not what was relayed online (first red flag) and had to be expanded on site on discussion with the tradesperson. Follow up additional cost for the expanded scope was reasonable but the method for collection was terrible. Online payment required accepting terms and conditions and privacy policy that didn't even exist (this is illegal, btw), and because I refuse to agree to something I can't see, I couldn't pay online and was inundated with emails and texts to pay up, one day after the invoice was se...

Mind you the full fee for the initial scope was collected a full ten days before the job even started - this was not something I agreed to - what if the service never turned up or the job was atrocious? When you try to call the customer support line for something other than booking a new service, you get directed to a dead end message and you get hung up on by an automated "service" before you can even relay your issue. This is true for every single line other than booking a new service! You make your customer feel like a dead beat criminal, hounding with a barrage of emails and texts to pay up. After having paid the additional fee via direct bank transfer instead, I've blocked every Fantastic Services number and email. What a terrible way to treat your customers. It has absolutely made me never to use FS again. I feel genuinely sorry for the trades people who might actually do a great job but work under this franchise (the only reason you get two stars instead of one).Poor Customer Service
We engaged Fantastic cleaners to do our end of lease cleaning. We had to get them to reattend because the bathroom was not cleaned properly. There was still mould and soap scum left in the shower. We arranged for them to do a reattendance, which seemed all fine however; the cleaner that returned had picked up the keys from my real estate agent and dropped them off within an hour and a half. Our place is about 20 mins from the real estate agent. I got feedback from my property manager that there had been no change.

I had a terrible experience
I opted for the end of lease cleaning. There were 2 guys who came on time, and assured me that they would clean everything. They were there for almost 3 to 4 hours. I did not check the house post cleaning and gave the keys directly to the Agent. To my embarrassment the agent was surprised that the cleaning was of a very poor quality. The examples of this poor quality are as follows:
- Greece was left as is on the stove (who has ever done that when you pay C.$400 for your cleaning)

Didn't get what I paid for
I have used them before and they were great but this time they sent out two young guys who didn't look like they knew what they were doing. When I checked the blinds had not been cleaned and the windows hadn't been either, both of these I mentioned at the time needed to be done. When I contacted this service to complain I was told they wouldn't come back unless the real estate said it wasn't done. I paid a lot for this service so I expected the work to be done, I had to go and clean them myself so I could get my bond back. Sorry I won't be using this company again.

Disappointing initially but tried to do the right thing
O star if possible. They just cancel the booking because they cant' find parking while I already found them a spot in 1 min. Then they made me locked out from my own apartment because they put the key in the mailbox while I was saving them a parking space. Before this, antiviral santisation that cost $170 was a joke. 15 mins of wiping and that's all. Unbelievable! Some cleaners need to be told that they they have 30 more mins so to continue cleaning but they thought they have finished despite there so much thing can be done

Refund given and $50 given for the hassle

Delayed refund
***After I made the below post, I was contacted immediately by Fantastic Services apologising for the delay and informing me my refund had been processed and it was in my account within 3 business days. They also gave me a $20 credit if I choose to use their service again***

Honest feedback
Was a bit disappointed that the communication from my phone call to those who delivered the cleaning seemed to miss some details. I had ordered a thorough oven clean and discussed the system that sounded great - industrial cleaning sort of thing-what I got was a hand-cleaned oven, which was well done but not what I was expecting. Similarly, there did not seem to be an understanding that I was expecting a top to bottom clean, including windows inside and out. The result was that the clean was not as thorough as they rushed to get it all done. I would have willingly paid for more time if given the option to have a proper clean.

This company is dishonest and unreliable. Don't use for rental cleans.
If this review was based on the quality of the job done by the cleaners then this would be a 5 star review with nothing but praise, they were not only on time but did an utterly fantastic job, to the point that both my landlord and the rental agency commented on how good the job was.
The reason why this review is so low however is based on the balance of my involvement with the company. Firstly they got the details wrong on what was required for the clean (though the cleaners did the additional work at no charge, which is a testament to them)...
Read more, the pest treatment provider was extremely late (1+ hours, exact time is unknown as I eventually had to return to work leaving the premises unlocked) and provided a different treatment to what I had ordered. Things got even worse however as, so as to hand back my property to the agent, I was required to provide the cleaning invoice and the pest treatment invoice, however I am still yet to receive the pest treatment invoice from the company - the service was provided over a month ago (even though the company knew that the hand over date was the day of the treatment and that I was required to provide both invoices). This is despite the company having received payment and despite me calling them to chase the invoice and letting them know that I required the invoice so as to be able to hand back my property. The telephone staff were rude, utterly disinterested in helping, and lied several times. As a result, but for my real estate agent cutting me some slack and letting me off the hook in relation to the pest treatment invoice, I would have been required to pay additional rent due to being unable to hand back the property. I would strongly recommend not using this company if you are a tenant and have to have your documentation in order to hand back your property. I am sorry for the cleaners who did the job as your exceptional work is being undermined by a company that doesn't care about its customers.2 comments

Over priced.
This was the first time I used Fantastic services. I wanted to have my leather lounge (2 three seaters and 1 chair) cleaned. They wanted $424 at first, but agreed to charge $350 if I become a member. They subcontracted the job to another cleaning service who had subcontracted again to another person. The cleaner who turned up spent one hour to wash the lounge and then used a shampoo. The lounge is cleaner than before but only marginally. I think $350 cash for a one hour job, something that I could easily do myself is not worth it.

Unimpressed
Disappointed in the service due to shower tiles & frame not being cleaned. Bathroom basin had evident toothpaste left on the basin. I had to reclean my shower as this wasn’t done with the appropriate cleaning products & utensils.

I was very disappointed in the cleaning job. They called to say they were finished so I could do a final inspection. 3 guys for 3 hours and I came to check and found:
* 1 room had not been cleaned at all. There was still rubbish on the floor. Not vacuumed etc.
* None of the skirting boards had been cleaned anywhere in the house
* We have carpet in the built in wardrobes and this had not been vacuumed in any room.

Abrupt $400 price increase on day of clean!
UPDATE: Customer service were very helpful and apologetic and had the overcharged amount refunded within a couple of business days.
We booked an End of Lease clean to for our 3 bedroom house. When we booked we outlined the rooms to be cleaned, and even rang up to clarify, after our initial quote, that the staircase was carpeted. Unfortunately we could not accept that offer as (in addition to it being unfair) we had to have the keys back the next morning. The original cleaners subsequently deliberated with us, gave us a new price of $690 (still $250 above the agreed upon price) and we were unfortunately forced to accept under protest Firstly, our house is not that large. It is a very modest 3 bedroom inner west household. I believe that the cleaners may have had an inflated concept of how large this property is due to the high ceilings. Considering that we opted to have ceilings and walls emitted from the areas cleaned, the height of the floor should not be taken into account when assessing size. I rang customer services and spoke to Leva who told me that the updated ticket for our job showed that the cleaners had said that the house included 6 bedrooms. Six bedrooms. Two of the rooms are slightly bigger than usual (the other is small). None of the rooms have built-in wardrobes. Walls, ceilings, windows and blinds were all emitted from this quote so requirements for these larger rooms are as basic as it comes, basically just a vacuum and steam clean. It is undeniably disingenuous to label our house as a 6 bedroom property, and even more disingenuous to attempt to raise the price almost two-fold on the day of service, for a service which is known to be occurring under time constraints. I have emailed head office and am awaiting reply, will update this review when a reply is received.1 comment

Second review after a bad first one...
I wrote a bad review about a couch cleaning about a month ago... after I wrote that I was cobtacted by customer service and they did a great job at understanding my issue and organising for another clean to take place.
The guy they sent, John, was incredible. He told us we were right and an absolutely terrible job had been done by the original guy. He also told the people back at the office how unacceptable it was which I really appreciated. The couch is now super clean and John did a great job. Bella at customer service was great as well.
I would give John 5 stars but I still only give Fantastic 3 because of how difficult it was to get the job done properly in the first place.

The cleaning was excellent.
However, despite booking 3 weeks ahead of time, I was told 24 hours before the booking that I needed to reschedule because the cleaners don't work past 2pm. Why did the website let me book it then? By then it was too late for me to rearrange my life and I told them they couldn't come earlier. They said they would call me back but didn't call. I ended up scambling around the morning of the booking trying to find someone on the phone to tell me what time they were coming. Unnecessary stress.

Good enough, could be better
The cleaners were on time and very polite however left several obvious spots “wiped over” rather than “cleaned” and a few sports missed. Otherwise, the cleaner had leftsignificant BO - which for the first job of the day was an average experience

I am an idiot for using them twice - heed this warning
I have used their service twice.
The first time was a few years ago for oven cleaning. The cleaner turned up about an hour late. His cleaning work was okay nowhere as good as other oven cleaning services we have used. His work on the rangehood was abysmal.
More recently, we had the misfortune of using their service again for an end of lease clean. We actually tried to use a different cleaner but he was fully booked. So we booked with Fantastic Cleaners.
