One of the worse company 100% non of the people I know will be buying insurance from your guys. Definitely 1000 plus staff of Singapore airline will be highly advised against buying from your rubbish company
Very unhappy customers
An error at a hospital causing serious problems somehow became a pre existing condition. A very long bow pulled here. It was akin to going to emergency with a sore toe. Staff cut off toe by mistake but insurance company say 'You had the sore toe in the first place'.A lot more serious in our case. Legitimate claim we believe. We can't travel and would have liked our $10,000.00 reimbursed. Patient still suffering and will be ongoing. Communication from company very poor. Had to chase them up constantly.
Worst cover I have ever had
Slow to respond, no help given at all especially during the recent circumstances not even minor help given. Disgusted with the service and will never recommend them to anyone after this.

Absolutely disgraceful not honouring comprehensive cover.We had no pilot to fly our aircraft and FastCover deems this as no excuse for a cancellation claim. Travel insurance is waste of money.

Absolutely useless with no assistance at all regarding COVID-19. Despite actually being overseas well before the pandemic was declared, I am gobsmacked at Fast Cover's lack of assistance. Never again.

WORST INSURANCE COMPANY!!! I'm writing my first ever negative review and if I would give this scummy company 0 stars if I could. I submitted my claim and got a follow up email saying they would respond within 10 business days, at the end of that deadline fast cover requested more information (most of which had already been provided). After waiting more then 2 months from when I first submitted the claim I got back a negative outcome.
My flight was cancelled whilst I was in Canada early this year due to a reduction in service (probably the mo...st common reason for flight cancellation). You would think that this should surely be covered by comprehensive travel insurance especially when paying $700 for a 2 month trip. THINK AGAIN!!!! They advertise to cover up to $50000 in trip disruption expenses and unlimited for trip cancellation expenses but make sure you read the fine print as this only if your flight has been cancelled because of hijacking, riot, strike or natural disaster. It's almost laughable because the chances of any of the above happening are extremely unlikely. It's crazy to think that financially we would have been better to not even have insurance at all. I also would've saved myself one HUGE HEADACHE, a lot of stress and many hours in phone calls and emails. Extremely disappointed with this service and will be sure to share my story and thoughts with as many people as I can.

My claim was not valued at all. No reply to my email. Never and won't again. Wouldn't ever use you again and will fight for my claim to be reviewed.
Choose a different insurance
The only 2 times I have had to make a claim on my holiday insurance, both times were declined. I missed my flight both times due to unforeseen circumstances (accident in which a truck had rolled over and completely blocked the airport toll road, another took 3 hours to travel 35km due to a political meeting) even though I had planned my transfers with plenty of time to arrive extra early to the airport.
The insurance stated that you have to be delayed by more than 6 hours for you to be reimbursed. How many people travel to the airport for 6 hours to get there 2 or 3 hours before your flight? Exactly...no one. So that means they never have to pay out.
I will never get a policy with them again.

Don’t waste your time or money! This company will do everything to stall and deny your claim. This is the first time i’ve had to claim and silly me for always getting cheap travel insurance. Spend that bit extra and get insurance through a reputable company.

Any airlines mechanical or other reasons for delay caused by the airlines will not be covered by Fastcover, but other Travel insurance would cover this as my fellow passenger was covered by Allianz and they covered him for this and he was able to claim back his loss.

Don't take into account 5 star reviews about the purchase process or price, that's what I did but my claims experience has been rubbish.
Was overseas in Thailand, my partner got extremely ill to the point she couldn't get out of bed. I contacted the '24/7' emergency medical team on a Good Friday and explained the situation and wanted to see if we could get her back early. She informed me that it was a public holiday and they would have to confirm that her acute condition was not a pre-existing medical condition an...d most GP's wouldn't be open until Tuesday so she could look into it and get back to me Tuesday. So yes they have someone answering the phones 24/7, they can't actually do most things outside of business hours. We were due to fly home Monday.... she actually KNEW this when she suggested getting back to me Tuesday. Then the case manager got in contact with me via email to say only 'acute' conditions were covered. Her medical report literally used the word 'acute' but I was informed she wasn't covered to come home early. He provided me details to lodge a claim for medical expenses. Annoyed we waited it out through a pretty rough couple days (if not for my partner insisting I would have just paid for additional flights) then I come home, submit my medical documents using the email address provided by the Case Manager. Call them up after not hearing anything back for a few days and am told that it was the wrong email address. Will never purchase with these guys again.
Not worth the paper it's written on. My son was bitten by a dog in a 3rd world country requiring rabies injections both in the country we visited and when we got back amounting to approx $400 in costs, they exclude costs once you are back home even if it relates to the injury suffered whilst away and the excess is more than the rest of the costs. Useless.
Easy to take out insurance but not so easy to get paid for a medical claim
Taking out insurance with FastCover was easy and they offered great coverage compared to other insurance companies.
When I was overseas hiking I unfortunately got very bad altitude sickness and was medi vacced off the mountain I was climbing. The company who provided evacuation and all medical care has not heard from fast cover in over a month regarding reimbursement for their costs which is quite a lot. They have provided everything as requested to FastCover. I also am awaiting a related claim to be paid and found that the extra documentation...required was over the top. Even with a receipt being provided by my travel company showing my tour costs, I also had to provide bank statements showing payment of my trip. Every time something new is requested your claim goes to the back of the line and you are told it’s another 10 business day before you will receive a response. My claim experience has not been good so far.
Would never purchase cover from u again
A miscarriage is not a pre exsisting condition. Each pregnancy is different and it’s disgusting that you claim it is. To the doctors it’s not and I feel you use previous ones as an excuse to not cover.
Don’t bother with this company, absolutely incompetent and I would definitely NOT recommend them!
I m a first time user of this company, it’s all very easy to set up etc until you need to claim! I have sent them the information they requested 5 times and it still wasn’t resolved! I give up!

I'm trying to take out travel insurance for me and my girlfriend and was happy to find that you're offering travel insurance for couples on your website. I proceeded to put in the details to get a quote. Then, in the policy summary before payment, it explicitly states that only 1 adult traveller is covered. There's also no option to add another person. What's the purpose of a couples insurance if it only covers 1 person?
So, if you can't even get your products and sales process right, how can I trust you're getting anything right when I actually have to make a claim?
