Unfortunately Amazon uses them. Their notifications system is nonsense - "unable to deliver: more information required". They have every scrap of information required to deliver. They use a remote call centre in the Philippines with contractors using poor quality VOIP connections. Then got an email message that they had delivered but I still couldn't find package anywhere. Phoned the Philippines again.... they eventually gave me a number for the driver. When I called, no answer so I left a message. When he finally got back he said "This is 'na...me' ....errr....'another name'.... oh, are you looking for the courier?" I asked where the package was he said " I put it in a garage" (the block has ten garages) "I asked why he didn't walk up two stairs and deliver it to me door, he said " I didn't want to , it was raining" ????????? Aramex/Fastway clearly do care about their appalling reputation... so I will deal with the companies that do. I will refuse to purchase any product that is delivered by Aramex/Fastway
Absolutely useless freight handler. Two weeks to deliver a small package from Wollongong to Melbourne!
Ordered a spare part (the size of two matchboxes) from a Corrmial NSW warehouse to be delivered to Melbourne suburban address. The warehouse uses Fastway (now aramex) as their courier. The package was picked up from Corrmial on October 6th, and registered as being at the Wollongong regional aramex hub the same day. Even at that stage their vague delivery estimate was 14-19 October. In the end it arrived very late in the day on the 20th of October. Two weeks to get a small parcel from NSW to Melb!
Shop elswhere if they use fastway
With everyone now shopping online customers have a good idea of expected delivery times, Australia post great, Sendle the best I have come across. I now ask who is shipping parcel if fastway I shop elsewhere, save yourself alot of aggrivation even if you pay couple dollars more should have changed thier name to unreliable Slowway
12 days for item to arrive from the Sydney sortation office. No trackibg updates. Item then dumped insecurely outside front door, the courier did not bother to ring doorbell. Delivery not in line with senders instructions.
Fastway retains its record as the worst courier service in the free world!
Have tried to avoid Fastway due to a litany of epic failures by them to deliver to me in the past. However, I bought an item from Melbourne on eBay. Had I known they used Fastway, I would have bought elsewhere, however I didn't check. Item sent by Fastway Melbourne to Bendigo, and then Fastway took it to the Post Office in Bendigo (Golden Square) and posted it to me in Maldon, via Australia Post!! Last time they told me to come to Bendigo to collect my delivery, so i guess this is an improvement of sorts? They appear to have had it in Bendigo f...or 6 days - I could have walked there and back in that time. Ah well, at least it was in safe hands for the last part of the journey, albeit that it was late due to Fastway and their dodgy tracking system. Will be avoiding Fastway at all costs in future, also Aramex, which I understand is just Fastway with different colour shirts and different stickers on the trucks!!
Fastway, I don’t think so Slow way
I was tracking my parcel and it was movig through system timely, but once it was on board with courier, he left onboard for about 2 weeks, he seems to wait for a load in my area before he will deliver , and then he drops and runs, i will not buy if seller use this courier
Document put into mailbox altho signature required
My solicitor sent me a document from Kuala Lumpur on 27 jan. It arrived in Australia 29jan 3pm. After that no update on tracker. So we waited in the house whole of today waiting for courier to buzz the gate or call us. We can see the gate from our sitting room. No one contacted the whole day. At 7pm we found the parcel shoved into our mail box altho its stated on envelop signature required. This is an important document ..otherwise our solicitor would not have spent 100 dol using this service. This type of service is totally unacceptable. Always slow and unreliable
I've had many frustrations with Fastway and since being taken over by Aramex there seems to be no improvement. Latest example - my sender shipped on 19th January, Fastway sent email saying it had been picked up, was at Dandenong Depot and would be delivered within 24 hours. 3 days later on 22nd, still no parcel. I live at Narre Warren, 12km and less than 20 minutes from Dandenong. How hard is that?? Sent a query on their tracking system Friday night 22nd. Lo and behold, Monday morning 25th I get a reply saying it will be delivered today - and i...t was. So it sat in their warehouse for 5 days going nowhere - just 12 kms from me. And this was a package of food!!! This is one of many bad experiences with deliveries by Fastway. I'm putting in a complaint to my sender - they should stop using them.
Delivered to wrong address!
This absolutely rubbish courier company delivered a large package clearly addressed to us (with contents inside worth $400) to our neighbours who were away on holidays at the time. Thankfully they’re honest neighbours who let us know when they got home and who also told us that on their security camera footage the person delivering the box just walks to the car port and dumps it on the ground and walks off. Both our homes are clearly marked with numbers so I can only say that this was pure carelessness and laziness at play. I would not recommend this courier company!
Parcel delivered to the wrong address.
Not the first time. Hopeless service to say the least. This isn't good enough.
Last time I had to go to the depot to pick it up myself.
Sydney Depot has stopped delivering
I have two parcels that are at the sydney depot, one has been there since 12th Dec and the other since 19th Dec. I've submitted 3 update requests for explanations but no one has got back to me. I've tried the chat on the website but no one chats back. I really need these parcels but have no way to get them. They're in Sydney and I live in Sydney, I could collect them myself if they'd give me the option.
Original complaint was on the 23rd Dec. Parcels both got delivered today 30th Dec. I guess they had trouble with Christmas time of year logistics, staffing, amount of parcels, hours in the day. Which I accept but they could have responded to inquiries, which would have put my mind at ease.

Handed a parcel to my wife then took a photo of her and said it is their new policy !!! Is this possible?? Isn’t that illegal in Australia?? I can’t believe it

Worst Courier service ever They left my parcel randomly any news agency far from my suburb. They did not left any tracking card. No email No SMS no single information. I find out my parcel waiting at the news agency for 5 days. They have really Bad reputation in Australia That is Why they changed their name to Aramex. Avoid never ever work with them
Turned up on Thursday, pranked my number with a mobile number I've never seen before- which no one is going to answer these days, with all the scams - no text, email or forewarning. I was out picking up a delivery. Kogan emailed me 2 hours later saying I'd missed the delivery. It was the same time as the call. No follow up text from the driver. How can I miss what I didn't know about? I text the driver asking if he was the guy. No response. Navigated Fastway's bizarre site and started a 'conversation' with their bot. Finally got a response that...my complaint, blah, blah, blah.... Friday I redirected it with comments for the driver to follow: sms, and call me because I'm disabled (deafness). The above was the beginning of my original review, since then and quite a few emails to both Fastway and the sellers, my packages showed up on Tuesday and yesterday. Sometimes persistence pays off. Yet, it shouldn't have to come to that. I promised myself too that if they delivered my packages on time I would modify my review. As they have per the re-direction instructions. They didn't contact me at all regarding the incident in detail, rather skirted around it. Whether it was sheer luck or my persistence that got my delivery there (the driver did call, and end up texting me - only after I text him to ask if it was Fastway) - they did it. Well, done Fastway! See what you can do if you just try?
Consistently awful, but as the receiver I didn't get a choice who to use
I've received many packages from Fastway. Every time without exception they take far longer than regular post, and leave the item outside my door without announcing their arrival (even pre-Covid). If you're a sender, please give me a choice when I buy goods, so I can receive them by any other means!
