Poor customer service
I am a small business. My longer deliveries are sent by aramex. Last delivery was 6 days late. Internet said it was on board for delivery. When it finally arrived the driver said( sorry it has been on the truck but I've been to busy to deliver it). Eventhough he drove past my place on two occasions. Pathetic non service from the Newcastle nsw branch. New delivery drivers all the time. I can only guess why so many drivers leave the Newcastle branch. Gold Coast branch do a fantastic job. Other branches let the team down badly. Get your act together aramex there is plenty of room for improvement.
Local delivery took more than a month
The delivery took 1 month to cover 10 kms distance, the tracking system kept showing that they tried to deliver but we all had been at home and can confirm no one came to deliver anything.
Then after 39 days they dropped the package on our door without even pressing the door bell.
Poor vendor had refunded us for the product, we contacted them and transferred funds again.
Absolutely never again!
Adelaide to Brisbane took over 2 weeks without any tracking information except they had picked it up. Pathetic.
Murarrie to Greenbank in Brisbane (45km) is 8 days and waiting. Once again with zero tracking.
Stay away if you want to keep your customers happy.
Aramex bought Fastway, their service has been abominable so far in my experience too.
Had to wait 3 weeks to get my order
I purchased a dress from Ally Fashion on 12 January, 2022 with standard shipping and it was dispatched the next week. However, they use Fastway/Aramex couriers for the standard shipping, I checked the tracking and it still said that it was in Sydney with no new updates. Since the 17th January, no new updates have been updated and I emailed/phoned customer service to ask the whereabouts of my order. They said to me on the email that COVID-19 was impacting their services, they use this as an excuse! Then I phoned them couple days later and they s...aid it has been delayed due to high volume of parcels and Covid! By the end of January, STILL no new updates and at the beginning of February, I finally got fed up, and me and Mum phoned customer service for the last time and with the same excuse, delayed because of high volume of parcels and Covid. I started to lose my temper and left my Mum’s bedroom and then she said to me that Ally gave me not a refund, but a $37.95 gift voucher to say: “sorry that you had to wait so long for your order”. I bought a skirt and a crop top with it. That night, I got a notification from Shippit to say that the order was on its way with a driver, and then the next day, it finally came in good condition. Then, the crop top I purchased are yet again with Fastway. I checked the tracking on that order and there was no updates since the 2nd February. I emailed Ally’s customer service about my order and got a reply sometime around 4:30 today with the same excuse: “The courier has advised that COVID-19 is impacting their delivery network”. and: “Please allow an extra 2-15 business days for standard and express delivery.”, which is the exact same message I got about my dress. However, this one is a click and collect to the Golden Grove Village, but I guess only time will tell how long I’ll get THIS order! That’s why I decided to NEVER do standard shipping again for future purchases and to stick with express shipping. These couriers are nothing more but a very slow, lazy and useless bunch. They keep using COVID-19 as an excuse and it’s annoying! Why does this company even exist?
Sellers on EBay seem to use Fastaway(Aramax) in many instances. Cheap and nasty.
Not once has a parcel been delivered in any imagination of reasonable time, even allowing for COVID.
The endless frustration that this company has caused, delivery after delivery, cannot be measured.
From now on, I will check who the seller is using for transport. If they say "Fastaway", I will simply tell them, no thanks, provide an alternative, or I buy elsewhere.
37 DAYS BRISBANE TO PERTH!
The title says it all 37 days to get an item from Brisbane to Perth! Item was picked up by them 30/11/21 delivered 5/1/22 that is appalling service! I contacted them and they said they would “prioritise” my delivery! While waiting for this delivery, I ordered two four litre tins of specialty paint for the roof of my fifth wheeler caravan on 16th December from America that was delivered on Jan 5th.
Pathetic customer service
Ordered a desk (2 boxes) and Fast delivered one box and left the other in Melbourne. Numerous phone calls and it was finally found and delivered to the local depot but I had to continue to call them to finally deliver the goods. They win the prise for the worst delivery company I have ever experienced.
Do not deserve even 1 star
Item was posted on the 14th December from Melbourne
Item was picked up from sender on the 15th December in Melbourne
That is were the tracking stayed until the 4th January when it was onboard for delivery in Adelaide, was supposed to be here by the 23rd December2021, actually delivered 4th January 2022.
Left 2 parcel enquiries, got 1 standard response "Our team are currently working on your ticket and have provided an update. If you wish to add any additional comments, or want clarification on the update, simply reply to this email." Not real...
Not even worthy of 1 star.
The worst, most incompetent, slowest, useless couriers ever.
Incredibly slow delivery times. It’s not unusual to take 10 days to get a parcel from their depot in Sydney to Newcastle.
Driver skipped delivery of my parcel because I wasn’t home, but my security cams prove he didn’t even drive past my house, and I was home all day. He delivered it the next day, but not the 2 parcels he had onboard for delivery that day! The idiot delivered those the next day also, even though the depot told me that they would be delivered on that day.
They us...ed to be great. I used them every day for work, now you couldn’t pay me to use them, and I’m not using sellers who use them as couriers because I would be able to ride my bike and pick the parcels up than using the Fastway network.
2 weeks melbourne adelaide had to pick up parcel because you would not deliver worst company out drivers can not do their job will not use again drivers also lie
Very Bad Service and Communications
It took them more than 4 weeks to deliver an item to me from Melbourne to Sydney! I emailed them and never got a reply. This must be the worse courier company. Avoid it.
If you need something in a hurry, this is NOT the service you want to use
I had a lot of deliveries to my address during past several years and I never had any issues with any courier company except these guys.
This time, however, they have outdone themselves. It took them exactly one month to deliver a standard small package from Melbourne to Sydney (some 25 days after ETA). Had I known, I would have happily paid more for alternative courier company.
During this same time I had similar size packages arriving from regional China quicker than this so I don't think their usual "delays due to COVID" excuses are valid.
This company is extremely unreliable and I would avoid them at all costs.
Fast way is slow as no star rating that’s how bad they are
It should not take three weeks to get something delivery from Sydney west Sydney Penrith area . Absolute joke . Fastway carriers directors should be sacked immediately . Just like our premier she could resign
worst company in the courier business..
I've had dealings in the past with this company. via ebay sellers sending parcels through these guys and oh man. i got nothing good to say about these guys.
where everyone else take 2-5 business days these guys would take 2-3 weeks to deliver something basic.
The worst thing is aramex/fastway don't even care to improve man. it makes me wonder how these guys are even surviving the industry.
If you want fast and reliable service this is not the courier company you choose.
Re-branded to Aramex but unfortunately same issues
I have had quiet a few parcels sent and received over last few years, the complaints are not unfounded. Being a fair sort of guy, laid back and rather accepting, COVID HAS created a culture of online shopping boom. However it has been very hit or miss with Fastway/ Aramex, more miss than hit. It's a sad thing when you can say Australia Post has better delivery times and consistent tracking. I'm not saying not to use them, but just accept that if they estimate 3-5 working day expect 5-6.
Questions & Answers
Absolutely NO customer service BUT I managed to gain a VIP number and after 4 calls a nice lady answered the call and was vey helpful after I told them I was to take contact with Amazon USA and AU
a complaint has been made to Amazon seeking NOT to use them as they are bad for any business
the only place for Fastway and the new coat of paint Amarex is the Federal Court of Australia for Prohibited Trades Practices penalties
best advice DO NOT USE THEM and if the company you are purchasing uses them find another seller who uses somebody else
and be careful when agitated asians who deliver come calling at your premises and abuse you which just happened to me today
this asian guy damaged my front gate with his car door , yes a car door and not a designated Fastway vehicle and then stated it was too hot to deliver / blamed the weather and it gets better he tells lies that he actually attempted to deliver and when. he was confronted that he was no where near the property and CCTV never captured him , his story again changed
the better this show is shut down and the executives held accountable for misleading and deceptive conduct and unconscionable conduct in a court of law
After receiving everything from Australia Post, everything sent via fastway is delayed or not even sent out yet...
fastway is unreliable, slow and don't answer your questions, stick with Auspost
Where is my parcel, it is on board, out for delivery from 4 days
