Aidan

Aidanasked

Does the Balloon/Residual payment at the end of the loan include any interest rates added or is it just straight cash?

1 answer
Finlease
Finlease M.Finlease

Hi Aidan

The residual or balloon at the end of a term has no additional interest cost on it at the end of term

As an example if you were to finance $30,000 over a 4 year term with a 30% ($9,000) balloon, the monthly payment you would be making is essentially fully paying off $21,000 over the 4 years and interest only on the $9,000 over the 4 years

I hope this assists, please feel free to call me if you have any questions

I'm a small trader in Tanzania, dealing with ferry ticketing and reservation of cargo agency since 2007. There is a very potential business , neither a ferry company nor boat plying the route. I'm looking for partner or finance to buy/charter a vessel costs about USD 250,000 with capacity of carrying 150-180 pax, built not less 10 years ago. I haven't any collateral. With confidence, I have working capital; the ability to pay USD 18,000 monthly to clear the debt. could you please finance me?

Hi,
We have a small transport company, we run 3 B-doubles and a single, since Christmas we have had a bit of bad luck with one truck having an accident and another blowing an engine, we haul woodchip in southwest Victoria,
We have recently purchased 2 new complete units and up until a week the start of march we have only had the single running after the accident in Jan, as you could understand our turn over has dropped dramatically, on top of the xmas down time, we have been running on our overdraft and been in and out of red quite a bit through Feb-March.
We are requiring a top up of 70-80,000 until we have all units online and our usual cash flow running again. As we only get paid from Australian Blue Gum 32 days from the end of month.
Is there a facility that would suit our needs?

It depends on your circumstances but I am sure if you get in touch with Finlease one of their representatives will let you know what paperwork is required. Once you have the required paperwork it wouldn't take long for the finance to be approved.
Hope this helps!!
