First Class Accountants

Worst Book Keeping possible – I purchased my own business and having 12 employee's I needed a book keeper. I applied on a site to have book keepers contact me and when I got a email from a First Class Accountant who was local I arranged for this person to do my book keeping. Thus far, a week hasn't gone by where this book keeper hasn't managed to stuff something up. Our BAS statements for the year where all incorrect and it's costs me $1200 to have a accountant fix it. The BK even had us owing almost $30K to the Tax department (BAS) as the BK decided to make up our sales and our GST without asking / telling us. We sent numerous emails questioning certain aspects and the BK just doesn't reply, avoiding having to admit that they've done it incorrectly. We're still chasing the BAS $ that we owe. Each week at least one staff member is under paid, God knows how many have been overpaid and we are unaware of it. I assume anyone can get a certificate in accounting and buy into this franchise. I suggest going with a more experienced BK like I should have done in the first place. Horrible service and has cost me $$$ and time.
