First Class Automatics

Concerning – Had my gearbox serviced there. Was mislead from the beginning! We arranged to drop me back at work after dropping off my vehicle but they wanted to use my vehicle to do the travel when they had their own vehicle at the ready! Awkward moment! My vehicles box was working perfectly ever since new. All it needed was oil changed, filter and pan gasket. The service was performed and I was shown pics on their phone of brass shavings sprinkled in the bottom Of the pan randomly and told they where from my gearbox oil pump! Which is nonsense after ringing around for further information. They apparently are from the brass bushes which is normal especially from a gearbox never opened up since new! They stated this was definitely no good and the gearbox will fail in the next 20-40k! I was also told there is a bump in third which there is no such bump! Very confusing this mob, and the false information is a worry especially after spending $600 including a flush! I’m wondering whether paying the $100 extra for a flush, they actually did it? The gearbox is still running smoothly but was advised by others in the industry to check oil levels just in case. I would be very wary going to these guys for gearbox work!
