Glass touch panel stopped working – Expensive at $1200 and glass touch panel stops working after about getting used a couple of dozen times just after factory warranty expires. Contacted F & P not interested in complying with Australian consumers law and reasonable durability which to be fair most of these companies do this as there is no good enforcement mechanism of the law. Don’t buy. UPDATE November 2024: used the ACCC complaint tool and F&P provided a free repair.

Dissapointing quality from a Fisher Paykel fan – The touch panel fell off (!) The rangehood motor itself works, but after 5 years of very little use (we eat out a lot), the glass touch panel which let's us control the fan speed and light literally fell off.
Purchased in for $800.
