I cant believe an expensive oven has a major component failure
When I bought my new house this Fisher and Paykel big oven was in it .The oven is a bit over 7 years old but looks like its hardly been used. From my research New it was around $2,500 . Miele sell ovens for that amount of money ! Its alot of money for an oven . Seeing most ovens sell under $1,000. You'd expect paying that sort of money it would run for at least 10 years without a problem . Recently it started playing up - it would heat up sometimes and not others . Got a technician out and he told me the power module was faulty . Cost to r...eplace over $400 dollars !!! That's Half the price of a new oven. I contacted Fisher and Paykel they wouldn't help . I even said if they supply the part I'll pay to have it installed .... Thaaaaanks for that Fisher and Paykel . Will never buy a FP product ever again if that's your attitude. Other Euro brands supply alot better service than this
