Not impressed – This oven was recommended and purchased as part of a kitchen renovation. From day one it has been very noisy every time it is on. It sounds like a fan noise even though it’s not on fan forced setting. It cooks fine, but so frustrating with the noise. The cook top is satisfactory. Also the oven lights continually need replacing. Definitely will be replacing it with a different brand. Show details

Very Disappointed – No issues with the cook top, but the oven noise makes me hate this unit more and more by the day. Everything rattles on it and there is a nasty ringing noise anytime the oven is on. After 6 months had to replace the starter for the over, which was covered under the warranty but the service guys had no fix for the rattles. I've sent a note to F&P and they are no help, just said to get it serviced.  Show details

Just purchased pyrolytic freestanding dual fuel – Salesman at Harvey Norman said this was the oven being self cleaning. Hope it is, but not sounding good after reading the review. Worried now. Hope I can rewrite my review saying it was the best oven ever. Had a Delonghi double wall oven and wasn't that rapt in it.

Disgraceful, don't bother – I've had this oven now for three years, it cuts out at high temps, I've had to replace 4 elements with customer service obviously just a oxymoron used by fisher and paykel. priced goods. You are better of buying a $300 BBQ at bunnings, at least it works and doesn't cut out at 100 degrees or need parts replaced. Never again!

Worst ever – We bought this oven 5 years ago. After 6 months it was replaced as it was cutting out at high heats. This took much fighting with fisher paykel. Horrible customer service. Now 4.5 years later and 2 elements the element has gone again. So looking at purchasing a new oven. Ridiculous that an oven should only last that long. Obviously a faulty product and I have no recourse whatsoever now. Nothing Everything

Fantastic oven & Gas top – I have been using Fisher & Paykel for 4 years and been amazing , the oven is fantastic and over that you have the self cleaning walls and very happy with the service and the product itself. The oven galss does not heat at all it is 3 glass door. Brilliant product . i will recommend this product.

Faulty Oven – We bought this oven after having had an ILVE for many years. The ILVE was expensive and unreliable and we had it serviced on a number of occasions before deciding to get rid of it. necessarily any better than the cheaper ones. We opted for a Fisher & Paykel 90cm Freestanding oven OR90SDBGFX1 and for the first couple of weeks it was fine until, when using the fan forced oven on maximum heat, it simply cut out and turned off. We had to wait 15-20 minutes before it had cooled down, by which time the food was spoiled. Over the next 6 months this happened half a dozen times and despite several visits from the technician it has not been fixed. F&P have agreed to refund us the full cost, as they should. I could not recommend this oven to anyone. It seems to be a design fault. Looks good and the gas hob is fine Oven cuts out at high temperatures

Dud!!!! – Don't touch this oven!!! I have had my oven replaced at 6months old, It just stopped. Then replacement oven stop again right on 6 months. Fisher and Paykel admitted they have a fault now just waiting to see if they will give me a store credit to buy a different oven. Useless. Life span of 6months.
