Over it. Sick of washing things twice.
Had a 7.5kg F&P machine for about 8years. Hubby thought it was time to sell and upgrade as it was starting to go off balance frequently so he figured it was wearing out. Bought this 8.5kg, which surprisingly fits less in it (much to my adult son's disgust). At least the old machine used to wash! We are particular in NOT overloading this machine but clothes still come out with detergent stuck to them sometimes, and if doing sheets or large items you see bulk dry patches on them as you hang on the line, the water is simply not reaching throug...hout the load even though items are dropped so lightly into the machine, never squashed down and always on the fullest water level. I don't use the auto water level because I agree with other reviewers, it doesn't work. This is our 3rd Fisher&Paykel machine. When we went to buy the 2nd I said to the shop assistant "I don't want F&P because our last one was a constant fight with it spewing rubbish allover loads randomly." He said "I bet you had the 1995 model, they are so good now but." His guess shocked me because it was correct. We bought the 2nd. It was wonderful. Now the 3rd sucks. Never again. The other extremely annoying thing is you cannot just choose a spin cycle if say washing got caught in the rain or something or you just need to wring something out, it must redo the whole rinse cycle. Waste of water, time and wear.
Purchased in January 2020.
Washes nicely and is quiet but broken down with blown power board within 18 months. Warranty service is a joke! Waited 1 week for a service and then would not work 5 minutes after serviceman left. Re-booked me for another two weeks !! Service staff could not care less. Dirty clothes piling up around my family. Very very disappointed. Never buy a Fisher & Paykel again
I have had a fisher and Paykel for years and recently upgraded to the new one. Very disappointed with the amount of lint it leaves on the clothes. It has ruined black clothes
Phoned the help line a couple of times and they say to run a hot water rinse through it which I did with no difference
Never had any problems with the previous machine and have down graded to this rubbish . Don't buy it
