not at all
I stayed there for four months. Under no circumstances would I go there again. The Ppivate space wasn't bad. However, common areas and house facilities did not work at all. In some cases the company didn't reply the emails, didn't replay the broken things, gave misleading information, etc THEY. DIDN'T GIVE THE BOND BACK!
I stayed in Brunswick Road and loved the property and the housemates. The agency is easy to book with, reception girls are nice and they try very hard to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend it and stay there again!
One of the worst experiences of my life
In just 6 weeks
- Lied to when I was viewed the place
- Serious reported problems reported days within moving in still completely unresolved
- Evicted from a room and placed in another room within the house with 3 days notice
- Unable to perform simple every day tasks every other company does without hesitation
- I live in a property with 20 other people not one person has a positive thing to say about the company.
Avoid its just not worth the hassle when there are just so many good companies that can do better
The house is at one of the best location in Melbourne and well maintained. The stay was amazing and with nice facilities. Kitchen is well equipped with utensils and with sufficient amount of storage space in cupboards and fridge. The bathrooms are fantastic.
The Melbourne CBD is within walking distance, however, if someone wants to take public transport the free tram zone is just nearby the house. Highly recommend for people who want to live in the city.
Rude and unhelpful
Tom, who answers the sales mobile phone, is possibly one of the rudest men I have ever come across and I work on reception for property management!! I never usually write reviews or share negative experiences online because I believe if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say it at all. But I was left a bit taken aback after my quick call with him today and would say that any company that has a sales person talk to people in this manner doesn't care about people so I'd stay away.
After you have signed the lease they will never help you with anything again. Very difficult to contact, often they don't answer their phones or email. Unorganized, with a tendency to blame the tenant. Avoid at all costs.
We stayed with Flexistayz for a few months and we had a good time. Initially we moved into a Brunswick property but we were relocated from work and they offered us a room in Carlton. Both properties were very well located and made us have a comfortable time. It was a nice experience and will happily stay again.
Flexistayz helped me to find a suitable acommodation for a couple of months in melbourne. The houses are lovely and well located.
Please do not use this organisation they force you into a bond then do not lodge it with the Victorian Rental Board, they then will not return your bond and spend it on themselves.
I stayed in one of their houses in Brunswick. The house was advertised as cleaned twice a week! When I commenced my stay the house was not cleaned for two weeks. It was only cleaned once a week. The place got filthy so quickly! They have 12 rooms in the house! The kitchen and bathroom were a bio hazard! Extremely unhygienic and would not pass health and safety checks! The oven doesn't work! There was not enough cutlery and the plates were ready for the tip! The rooms are ridicously over priced! You call management to complain about issues and n...othing is done! The bond is not lodged with the rental bond authority. As I called the RTBA and my name is not registered with them. They advertise their properties on Airbnb and multiple sites at different prices which is illegal! I discovered I was living with a guy on bail who has an AVO against him and another guy who is socially inept, has intellectual issues and is on the Autism spectrum! Do not stay here!
Avoid this accommodation!
Avoid!! Flexistayz blatantly lies on their website. They say the accommodation is renovated and superior. It's a dump. The kitchen is filthy with no clean area to prepare food. It's very overpriced with no value for money. Almost every tenant has a problem with the company. I feel like I have been scammed by them. Do not book with this company.
February 17th 2017 Update: A nightmare
This is my second review. I'm staying at their Rathdowne St property. There are 7 bedroom but between 12 and 15 people. There are 2 bathrooms and 1 kitchen....The kitchen is disgusting. Their website has a list of all the great kitchen equipment they supply - not true. Everything is old, broken and dirty. I took photos and sent them to Flexistayz to complain. At first they were apologetic. Then they ignored me. Then they sent an email to everyone in the house with a Notice to Vacate, citing the disgusting mess, and saying they would no longer send their cleaners. Then they sent me a separate email to tell me to stop complaining and clean the mess myself. I've received no receipts for the money I've paid. They didn't lodge my bond with the RTBA. I've just moved to Melbourne for work and this living situation has made it a nightmare.
Wonderful Place to Stay!
Stayed in this property for not a very long time but it makes me wanna stay longer
Housemates were very friendly and they're quite resposible as they keep the common places clean
Nice place and a convenient location
Stayed here recently and the staff and other guests were all really nice and friendly. The location was perfect, in the heart of Carlton, a short walk to the city and close to restaurants and cafes.
It's clean and perfect location
The apartment is clean and it has perfect location as it nears to South Yarra train station and tram station (it's around 10 minutes walking distance). The staffs are nice and kind.
Worst company I've ever been with.
After moving to Melbourne as a backpacker, we (a friend and I) found the property on Rathdowne Street. We were in a rush to move in as we had been backpacking for several months previously and we were anxious to have our own space.
Very shortly after moving in we realised what a mistake we had made.
While some staff were helpful, others were rude and pushy. The first 3 months of living in this property there were 3 forks, 2 spoons and 4 knives and plastic crockery in the kitchen despite the property constantly having 10-12 residents. This ...
