Ford Australia absolute joke!!
Have an Everest Titanium with 65k on the clock. The Adblue pump and heater failed (which is a super common problem) Have spent 5 mths with no loan car and no resolution from Ford Australia!
They call me every week and promise it will be fixed ASAP but it just keeps getting handballed.
No way am I paying $2000 every 60.000km to fix an issue that effects most of these models.
The most incompetent team I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.
Avoid Ford Products if you can, they will not help you!!!
Ford Australia knowingly sold me an UNSAFE CAR to make money. Disgusting!
All I can say is that I bought a Ford Fiesta Trend 2015 for $15K in the early 2017 and it had the DPS6 PowerShift transmission issue from Day 1! I am incredibly disappointed and outraged that Ford sold me this car in April 2017 fully knowing about this safety issue. Putting people's lives at risk to earn money is disgusting. Ford US and Ford Australia should be DEEPLY ASHAMED for selling faulty cars that have major safety issues - fords that were fitted with DPS6 transmissions are faulty and unsafe cars! As someone who supported and loved Ford ...cars for over 20 years, I am disgusted that the Ford Fiesta Trend 2015 was (and still is) an incredibly unsafe car that SHAKES, JERKS AND SHUDDERS while driving, and it's especially noticeable when you press down on the accelerator, and on highways with speeds over 80km/h. The very thought that Ford was aware of the safety issue and sold me an unsafe car anyway makes me feel sick and disgusted with them. People that have sold these cars should be put in jail, and the company should be heavily fined with all the cars recalled immediately - and full compensation for people affected provided PLUS compensation for the stress we endured as a result of driving this car, including all of the stress we are suffering due to current trial in Australia. Shame on you FORD! Do not buy their cars - they prioritize money over people's lives!
The X Pack Scam
I purchased the X Pack in 2012. I was told it was lifetime warranty if any damage done will be fixed. False. It's a lie. Don't buy it. Costed me $3500 and can't use it. Tried calling through many times to be ignored. Had to go in physically. This is Perth, Clarkson in Western Australia. I'd love to hear from anyone who also bought this dud package.
We purchased a “brand new” Ford Endura months ago. Upon picking it up it had chips in the paint which was supposed to have been paint protected. The car went into limp mode after driving it for 1/2 hour. We had had nothing but trouble. It’s been taken back twice the 1st time they had it for a few days. The 2nd time it’s still with them as it has multiple issues. The staff are arrogant and not at all helpful. We have asked for a new car as this one is obviously a lemon. We have now lodged a claim with the ACCC and we are going to lodge a claim w...ith the Department of Fair Trading who have advised that we are entitled to a new car. We are paying for a car now that we don’t have, we will never deal with Ford Narellan again. They are so lovely and helpful until they get your money!!! Here we are “9” months down the track and still nowhere ford are absolutely disgusting beginning from the sales people at macarthur ford to the people at for head office!!! Do not buy from ford!!! We will never again!!! They have put my husband through so much stress he is now suffering from depression!! Rude and arrogant and could not care less!!!!!! “disgusting”
Faulty car, poor service
Purchased brand new Ford Focus , has so far needed transmission repair three times and have been informed by Ford staff that this will occur again and yet Ford refuse any compensation or reimbursement even though they are aware this is an inherent problem with this vehicle.Disgusting behaviour by Ford. I would strongly advise anyone considering a Ford to look elsewhere
Ford ranger used for towing horses - engine failed one month out of warranty
Our Ford Ranger (130,000k) needs new engine. Damaged by faulty oil pump. Ford blaming engine damage on a couple of missed services. If that is true, please weigh up how fragile these cars must be before purchasing.

Dodgy used cars
Hello purchased a red Holden Cruze from ford benalla. Was told it would be serviced but wasn’t. I had to change oil then had faulty gearbox. When returning vehicle under statutory warranty was ripped off $4000 off what I paid. Had the car four weeks. Terrible customer service. Happy to discuss experience if you want to email me
Ford Care Australia
My car went in for a service at Jeff Wignall Ford Frankston. My car is under warranty still and has to be serviced every 6 months to maintain the warranty. on the 15th of December 2019 my ford Focus 2013 trend went in for its regular 6month service and they found that the coolant reservoir had split and leaked onto the front engine mount and this had perished the engine mount.
when the service department called to advise me of the problem. they told me that this was a common problem. That is a manufactures fault. the cars are made overseas and...
Ford Ranger 2019 10 speed Automatic transmission failure
Purchased Ford Ranger XLT brand new in August 2019. In January 2020 the transmission failed leaving the car inoperable and having to be towed to a the local dealership. Calling complaints department is a waste time as they do not respond in the 24 hours their voice message states and they do not respond to emails. At this point in time am very disappointed with the service and still without my car:(

Dont pay for Ford services
I bought my FG XR6 new and had every service done by the selling dealer. They were forced to repay a substantial amount due to overcharging me. Then my vehicle developed a starting problem the day after a sheduled service. I returned it to them and they investigated (guessed) what was wrong. They were never able to find the problem even though I spent almost $2000 and in the end, advised me that the cylinder head was faulty and would need to be removed to investigate further, this was going to cost me $3700 with no guarantee that this was the i...ssue. They could not qualify why the head needed to be removed, they were just guessing yet again. Took the car to the REAL mechanics at the NRMA. Testing showed 2 faulty ignition coils and a faulty spark plug. Problem fixed. I no longer own a Ford and never will again, they are rude and have no idea with anything other than basic servicing.
Recall...No issue Found
We purchased a ECOLPG gas exclusive Ford XR6 in 2012 which was recalled in 2013 for an "inspection". Our car was stamped with a "7" in lieu of a "5" which was deemed to require a new head under warranty. The head on our vehicle failed at 178,000 kilometres and we were informed by the repairer that the exhaust valves fitted to our car were only suitable for petrol engines and were not designed for an exclusive gas fueled vehicle. After making enquiries with Westpoint Ford in Werribee who conducted the recall, details of the works were "unavailab...le" given the inspection was conducted some six years ago. Ford when contacted were unable to furnish these details as well and have denied any liability. We have previously purchased 8 or 9 Fords and have arrived that Fords and its Agent stand behind their product and work, a hell of a long way behind, so not only would we never buy another Ford vehicle which was probably due in 2020 but we will never buy off a Ford dealer again
Ford Fiesta Faulty Transmission
After 8 years of being stuffed around & told that the transmission on my Ford Fiesta was still being "worn in" or "the software needs to be updated" i lost trust with Ford & especially City Ford Rockdale. I have had a case opened up by Ford Australia & have dealt with a case manager for the last 2 months only for them to tell me again that there's nothing wrong with the vehicle even though the mechanic at Ford Rockdale told me the car is a lemon & Ford should be giving back everyone who purchased these cars a full refund.
I have also been told...that if i am after a payout or some sort of compensation the car would be valued as it currently is. How is that fair? When i bought the car in 2011 it was already faulty. I took it back to Ford Rockdale multiple times after i purchased it & was just turned away every time but now i'm told because i took so long to report it the car value has gone down. I lost trust in Ford Rockdale which is why i refused to to back & get the car serviced with them & just dealt with the issue as it was far easier than being treated like an idiot. Then it comes out in the media that there are issues with the cars & Ford have been lying about these issues. I was also told that a full payout would be highly unlikely as my car has only had 2 clutch replacements & owners who were getting full payouts have had 8 to 9 clutch replacements. It's a bit of a joke if you buy a brand new car & have to get 8 to 9 clutch replacements to make the car driveable. This is totally unacceptable from Ford Australia & my dealership City Ford Rockdale. As a consumer i have been sold a faulty product & have dealt with it since 2011 & now am being told "if" a payout is applicable to my case then it would be at the current value of the car. I wouldn't even be able to sell this car for more than about $1500 & it's in great condition & only done about 79,000 kms in about 8 years. I will be taking this further & i urge all affected Ford owners to contact Ford Australia & start an individual case. Don't take no for an answer & stand up for your rights. It's in Ford's best interests just to say no to everyone regardless of their individual cases but keep pushing them & opening new cases until you get a favourable result.
Questions & Answers
Does anyone else own a 2009
Ford Fiesta that has needed numerous new alternators. No reasons given from Ford, just a cost of $860 every 2 years. Think I’ll sell, no more Fords for me!!
I signed a deal with a ford car yard. I wont name and shame just yet. Took it (kugar) for a test drive drove well and negotiated a deal i think was good for myself. Vehicle was in stock have not heard anything from the salesman coming up to 7 days. Apart from the contact initiated 2 days ago asking when i could collect my new. No real answers given other than ford had to release it. How long should i have to wait is my question and am i being unreasonable to think more contact should have been made?
They have asked my wife to pickup 5:30 pm ... it was dark in AUG 2016. She couldn't check properly. When I saw the car i have notice rings have damaged badly and it was issue with front tier and also break issue (making noise) and wheel alignment require.
We took some photos and send them by email a day after.
When they have checked in workshop their mechanic told me who give this car road worthy? when i said your company they kept quiet and that mechanic never came back to us.
After 6 month still we have issue with break and it is the disk issue, also rings and tires never replaced same issue, they just did wheel alignment.
I love ford territory this is my second territory but I told every one and I recommend everybody "Never ever buy from BAYFORD IN EPPING. They are NOT trustworthy and NOT honest".
Ok. Has anyone paid for a quote on a vehicle? This would be the first. mmmmmm after reading these reviews. I feel my dad was been scammed.
Hi, You never pay for a quote on any repair on any car. You should promptly go back for a refund and report this person to fair trading. No work was undertaken so this is a con.
