Love that Premiums remained reasonable
Policy was easy to set up and love that premiums did not escalate rapidly. This is my 3rd year with Frank Insurance after previously changing health insurance yearly due to dramatic rise in premiums

Awful customer service. Misleading claims. Member portal does not work
I have decided to purchase prescription glasses from an online retailer. But before doing so I have contacted Frank support to confirm that my extras insurance would cover purchase from this particular seller (provided a name and a link to their website), so after they have confirmed that I will receive the same benefits, I went ahead and bought it. However, a few days later when I try to claim it, I get told that they do not cover prescription lenses purchased from this retailer. The same retailer they told me I would get the same insurance co...verage at! Absolutely disgusting On top of that, they don't display member limits clearly (we have a couple's insurance). When it says under my name that I have a certain amount left from my annual limit it might be my husband's and not mine. Overall, they are doing a great job to make health insurance as confusing as possible.
Frank is the best health insurer
I have been very ill this year with cancer and Frank has been so supportive. The staff are incredibly helpful and compassionate. Thank you for your support over this last year.
The best health cover i found
I have found Frank Health Insurance to be a life saver! I've had quite a lot of dental work and it's really taken the financial pressure off! I have also been able to visit my podiatrist and chiro last minute without it breaking the bank.
The Perfect Cover.
My policy was easy to set up and covered everything i required. Have lodged a few claims in the last year and there has been no problems claiming, have been with Frank for 3 years. I am more than satisfied with the service and cover i get with my policy.
Genuine Health Insurance
I am so grateful to have health insurance with Frank. I joined in May this year and being an active sporting family, we have used Speech Pathology, Podiatry, Optical, lots of Physio and many other extras. All ancillaries received full 60% rebate with no fuss.
In addition, sadly, I had one daughter rupture her ACL in July and the other daughter ruptured hers in August this year. Both were participating in team sport and both were genuine accidents. Frank were absolutely fabulous and professional in giving clearance for both daughters to have t...heir necessary ACL reconstructions and this was done with zero excess. Frank provide excellent service, excellent support and are very good at responding to requests and providing information. I love the simplicity of Frank and the ease in understanding what Im entitled to and what the policies state. I constantly recommend Frank to my friends, colleagues and family. Im a big supporter of Frank. Please dont change who you are and what you do.
The best health fund I have been a member of yet.
Consistently exceeds expectations with the rebates I get on allied health. Have not yet used it with in patient services. Slightly disappointed when I realised there is no naturopathy cover.

My policy was set up with CS and I feel I get value for money. I have been with Frank nearly 3 years and couldn’t be happier. I have lodged claims without any problems.
Frank Minimum Working Visa (Overseas Visitor Health Cover) Does NOT exempt from Medicare Levy Surcharge
Signed up for Frank's Minimum Working Visa Insurance prior to arriving in Australia on a 482 Temporary Visa. The purchase was straight forward and it was very clear that it met the visa requirement which was my main concern at the time and it was accepted in the visa application.
We carried on paying solely because Private health insurance exempts you from paying the Medicare Levy Surcharge, an extra 1.5% of your salary on top of your 2% usual medicare tax if you earn above a certain threshold. If you earn a reasonable wage it's cheaper to pay...for insurance than pay this fee. However when it finally came to tax time it turns out that for some unknown reason Franks Minimum Working Visa cover (also called Overseas Visitor Health Cover) does *not* count as insurance that allows you to avoid the surcharge. So not only have I spent a few grand paying for glorified ambulance cover (which you can get elsewhere for $2 per week), but I can now look forward to a tax bill of a couple of thousand dollars next year. It doesn't say this on the fact sheet but you can find this nugget of valuable information 3/4 of the way down the page on https://www.frankaustralia.com.au/AustralianHealthcare/ which after spending weeks sifting through visa information on the Department of Home Affairs, is just the kind of 'slight of hand' we love to be caught out by. Bear in mind that all 'minimum level' fees advertised on these insurance fund websites explain they are basically for 'tax reduction'. So beware, this one does not.

This health insurance company is great. Customer service is friendly and efficient. They have good value for money policies and payouts when claiming are high. They pay the same no matter where you go.

Excellent private health insurance, great customer service
Great value for the policy, I have been on their extras for a couple of years now. It was easy to set up. Customer service is excellent, especially with their live chat. you can pretty much ask anything, and their staff is all very helpful and friendly (most of the time). Especially this person Shareena, she is very friendly and help me deal with what I needed.

I don't think any funds are good value but Frank softens the impact with open and friendly service. All our claims have been settled in an acceptable time.

No more frank health insurance it's cheap but they don't return your hospital expenses.
I bought visitor family health insurance 2years ago. This month first time I lodge a claim which is $500 return but they start playing games and sad bring multiple docs from hospital. I ask hospital they sad we never ever giving these forms to patients even we don't have. I have all invoices which is i already provide to insurance company but they won't help me. Before I was with allianz they bit expensive but good when ever I lodge claim they made more easier for us and return. No more Good by Frank

Policy is good, no issues so far. But only issue is we hardly use anything and pay so much every month and get nothing in return. Hope they will decrease premiums
Great service and value for money
I recently called Frank health insurance for a quote for my sons health insurance. The staff member was excellent. He took the time to get know my sons needs and the reasoning behind my choices steering me in the right direction. The price was good for the cover and waiting times are a little shorter than some companies on the market. Because of this I had 3 of my adult children sign up with them recently.

Decent offering - screwed up billing causing headaches
I have basic + simple extras on no tier (that is I make too much to receive a government rebate).
First thing that is annoying is that basic doesn't come with ambulance insurance and there isn't a simple separate ambulance cover, otherwise I would've chosen that over simple extras. I spoke to a customer support agent on the phone and they tried to seriously claim that I would be covered for ambulance in NSW/ACT for those specific states - which is completely false after calling each respective government agency (but admittedly unclear from the...respective websites). Anyway, simple covers is alright, I was able to use dental without waiting period and got an alright benefit (dental code 011 - calculus removal [i.e. hygienic clean], cost $175, benefit from frank $60.20). What annoyed me is that I changed payment details to a new credit card I received through the website, payments didn't go through for 2 weeks, and finally they sent an email saying I had to _call_ to fix a billing issue. I checked the website first and all payment details disappeared. So I called and the voice recording said I had to wait 5 minutes, but didn't speak to an operator until the 9-10 min mark. This is another annoying point of Frank - getting ahold of customer support is painful. It's not important that I speak with someone urgently but they should offer a callback service via (1) their website using the member services, this way they have the details upfront and call and (2) their on-hold music should allow you to preempt with a callback service.

Very good customer service! They go beyond to help you. I was having a dilema on my cover but they offered a solution and helped me and they covered the cost of my procedure. Happy Im with Frank!
The worst and lowest pay out for coverage
I was with frank insurance for a number of years. Paid huge amount each month and got bugger all when it was time to claim from my surgery. Was told by the medical staff / receptionist that FRANK is the lowest paying health insurance.
The staff do not properly tell you the complete cost and because they left out a few certain words like ' combined total" I was in for a rude shock when I had to pay more money than thought.
The worst health insurance ever
The worst cover I ever had. Please be aware that what you actually covered. 485 visa holders they covered pregnancy as the details but actually cover only delivery charges. This is the worst health insurance I ever had and bad customer service as well.
