DONT CONTACT service supervisor for Fugitso problems
We had our system installed while home was being built 2015 The installers did a royal mess of installing, first summer ran the system, compressor never shut off house never cooled resulted in a power bill usually round $400 belted up to over $1000 , dining room ceiling near on fell in due to faulty workmanship which resulted in a huge water leak, contacted installers who also sold us the unit, no luck there I went on to email the S/Supervisor of Fujitsu I also spoke to this dude on the phone, This bloke said he would send a tech which he did, ...the tech told me himself that the installers made a total mess of the install. to cut a very long stressful story short the Service super was supposed to send a detailed report never came, after I repeatably tried to ring and email him I was ignored this bloke promised and I quote I will not leave you hanging I will follow this problem to the end to have your unit fixed, what a load of rubbish he chickened out. Initials of this bloke are G, O I ended up threatening the installers with fair trading I told the the sellers I did not buy a unit for $13k just for show and tell if you do not fix it then legal action will take place. Whamo they finally sent a tech mind you summer was long gone, the tech had to rewire plus fix where the installers placed an outlet pipe under a beam which squashed it, had to reroute the zone wiring which is 12 zones had to pull out a huge amount of installation from the roof space, all this was done plus more faults to many to list thankfully the system is now working the way it should, I am dreading the expiry date of the warranty by reading the reviews Fujitsu ducted systems die just after the warranty runs dry. I would never recommend fujitsu to any one for the high price of these units there s*** Mind you I am still waiting on someone to finish setting up the WIFI so the unit can be switched on and of buy phone, fat chance of that ever happening.

Have been running this unit for 3 months and even after adjusting unit to economy mode it still draws between 5.5 to 6kw of power on cold cycle (temp set at 27c). Is this normal usage for this model?
Hi Ross I am not an expert , can tell you that mine is set at 24c i have energy monitoring device that tells me flat out mine uses about 4.8 kw but when the temperature is reached it goes down e.g last night it was using about a kw an hour all night cheers

The on wall remote control pad has power going to it, but the screen is just white..no information showing.
is this a major fault or can i fix easily?
Sorry i can,t answer that am not a technician you would need to get a professional in to look at that
Hey there MRMTEE, thanks for contacting us. Has the wall controller ever worked? Generally if the voltages are correct that are going to the wall controller, then the wall controller needs to be replaced. Looking at the model you provide, the unit could be within warranty so you might want to explore that option.
