Given wrong product
Terrible customer service
Went in store to purchase something and was given the wrong product and when I told them about it they wanted to charge a postage fee to send me the right product.
I dealt directly with the owner. Do yourself a favour and purchase from ebay.... Same products but cheaper

Worst Experience - Even threatened me!
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. I received a faulty product, and they made it difficult to try and get it resolved. When I spoke to one of their warehouse staff who answered the phone, he would not let me speak, patronised me and blamed the faulty product on me saying I had broke it. When I remarked that it was good he worked in the warehouse because his customer service skills were appalling, he suddenly became enraged! He called me names using the F... word and then said words to the effect that If you hang up on me, I have y...Read more
our personal details and I will call you and chase you up!! This is a direct threat which I am intending to report to the authorities. I ordered through their website and gave them my personal details in good faith only to have an employee threaten to use those details against me!! All I can say is do yourself a favour and buy off someone else. I see from similar bad reviews that their response seems to always point the finger back at the consumer....I expect this review will get exactly the same response. Nonetheless, I think consumers are smart enough to see through this and I hope I have helped you make your decisions as to whether you should buy from this company - DON'T!!Similar opinion? Do not buy from this store Avoid at all costs.
I bought a screen protector from this dtore twice in a row. First one didn't work, second one didn't work either. [name removed] who provided me with the same interaction as you have read from the countless poor reviews here. If you item does not work, prepared to have nothing done about it and you will lose your money. Avoid this shop at all costs.

Disgusting customer service
I ordered a usb converter for my new Macbook pro, it would always connect/disconnect & after about 2 weeks of having it it broke off - into my computer but managed to get it out. Emailed them for a replacement & they told me I have to send it back. Sent it back but it was lost in transit - the actual usb fell out of the envelope. They told me they could do nothing about it even through I sent them a photo of the broken product. So stupid considering it was a $14 product that they would get for about $4 cost price. 10/10 would not buy from them EVER AGAIn

Regards, SimonWhy would I pay for a tracking number & transit cover when that will cost more than the item itself??
I sent photos of the item being broken, you’d think that would be enough to proceed

Really frustrating
Bought a wireless car phone holder/ charger. My iPhone 11 Pro Max kept falling off whenever I drove over a bump. That meant pulling over every couple of minutes. Putting the car in park. Getting out of the seatbelt and diving into the passenger footwell to retrieve the phone. Obviously no good at all. So I sent it back. I even sent a short video of the issue. Then followed an ‘investigation’ in which they said they couldn’t replicate the problem. So right there I’m made to feel like my complaint is untrue. **Despite sending in the video of the...Read more
issue.** Next they said maybe the iPhone backing part needed replacement and I could buy another one. I refused to throw more money at the problem. So they asked me to post back the two plates that attach to the back of the phone. Which I did. One of them disintegrated slightly when it was peeled off the phone case. Unavoidable. That by the way revealed the problem: four tiny magnets each one about ½ centimetre in diameter. Way too tiny to hold the biggest iPhone (each one of these steps btw involved a 30 day turn around). Next I get told they’re posting everything back to me because they won’t refund me due to the (unavoidable) damage to the 1 phone backing plate and my failure to send in the box and the pamphlet it all came with. I had to get stroppy and remind them the product was not fit for purpose and breached the ACL and the Sale of Goods Act, and that sending back the box wouldn’t change that. I started the paperwork for the Minor Claims Court and Office of Fair Trading and THEN they agreed to refund me (after complaining they would be left to wear a loss on the item - which is also odd. Why would they not return it to the manufacturer and tell them the product did not perform and the manufacturer must reimburse G4G’s loss, or G4G will stop selling their products? And anyway, that’s not my problem). Throughout these interactions the staff at G4G were always polite, friendly and courteous. I readily acknowledge that. But the 30 day money back guarantee rings hollow. All told it took slightly less than 4 months from the time I posted the item back to the day I got the refund. Good service would have been a response like: “oh no. So sorry to hear our product was not satisfactory. We’ve put a reply paid envelope in the mail. Send us back whatever pieces you have. We’ll process a refund straight away”. Had they done that I’d have sourced a different brand of phone holder and had such confidence in G4G I would have gone out of my way to buy it from them. Same with the two bedside iPhone/Apple Watch/Air Pods wireless chargers I’m now searching. I’m staying well away from options when I see them on the G4G websites. Just don’t have confidence in how things will pan out if there’s an issue. I see G4G likes to have the last word on these negative reviews. Instead of doing that on this review, why not rather say to yourselves ‘we could have done better. We could have made the problem the manufacturer’s not tried to make it the customer’s. And we’d have had repeat business and a ***** review. We’ll take the learnings not try to get the last word.’1 comment

Poor quality product and ignored by company.
In December 2019 I purchased online a Exogear Tablet mount with Ultra Long arm with suction mount, that they said wouldn't come off under any circumstances. When I placed the product on my dashboard it looked OK, however next morning came out to car to find the mount lying on my front seat. I replaced it again, as per directions, again, overnight to find it had fallen away from the dashboard. Given that the car had been seated in the sun and it was a hot day and left overnight, I gave the item the benefit of the doubt. I went to replace its ...Read more
position and adjusted the tablet holder to have the ball mount socket break away in my hand. No force used, just broke on adjustment. Unable to be used whatsoever. So I went to ring the company, answering machine. Left message, no reply. Sent two emails with photos of the broken mount, no reply. From the above I wouldn't deal with this company as no after sales care of customers, obviously cheap Chinese plastic used for the device and once you buy a product, you are discarded by said company who cannot be bothered to return contact. Okay, today 20th January 2020, I finally received an email from Simon at Gadgets4Geeks in relation to returning said product, for their examination, which I will do at my own expense. I will wait to see what customer service the company provides and will update my original review to reflect good or bad service. OK so last month, late February, I received in the post, my product back, repaired, and appearing in good order, receiving only one email from 'Simon' to advise its repair and return which took some 2 weeks to complete. So to sum up, and to be fair, I did have the item fixed and returned after weeks of inaction and failure to communicate, apart from a reply re this review and one email. The company is very poor in its ability to fix these problems in a timely manner and with sufficient emails to keep the buyer informed. I did try one further email with an appropriate question on replacement which was just ignored by the company and 'Simon', again reinforcing a very bad customer service attitude. So I guess, Buyer Beware!1 comment

Not quite as described
I have purchased 2 x Products. The baseus 3 in 1 Charger Pad. I found this to be great Quality and my Daughter said it charges. The downfall for this product , website states this is fast charge, but it does not charge as fast as expected.
2nd product was a 2 in 1 charger pad. This product I am not at all happy with. I placed my Iwatch on the charge and when I removed it, it was burning hot and not charged. Thank heavens after cooling down I was able to charge this on the normal cord charger with no ill effect.
I had called the team [who was ...Read more

5m Wireless Endoscope WiFi Camera
All went well until I received the camera. Upon opening packet I found the plastic end cover had fallen out. I notified them the item was faulty & returned it. Australia Post confirmed they had received it on 6th August. Hearing nothing I phoned them & was told camera had been returned to manufacturer. A month later I am still waiting & have heard nothing.

Substituted the wrong product to make sale.
I ordered a Nokia 7.1 phone case .they sent me a Nokia "plus"case ( wrong size) Thought it might be a mistake untill I learnt there run out of 7.1 Rang them of course. They Said I had made the Mistake. ( I know what I ordered it was not a mistake) And more stock of the correct case will not be in stock for two weeks. So my only option was to spend my own money to return the item. Good money after Bad ? I think so.

Bad products and terrible customer service. Wasted my money
Bought a gel cover and a tempered glass screen protector for my Huawei mate 10 pro. The product description was wrong as they are not compatible with each other. The screen protector interferes with my typing. I contacted their customer service and they basically just told me to reinstall the screen protector. I've sent them pictures, as requested, I suggested that I'll send it back and pay the differencefor a suitable one but they are unhelpful and unresponsive. Terrible service and products. Avoid this company!

Sells poor/defective products with a misleading website
I purchased a (relatively expensive) screen protector from this company, specifically for a particular Nokia model. Once it arrived, (like many others who have posted reviews here) I found it doesn't even come close to fitting the phone it is supposed to (several millimetres too narrow to even cover the lcd screen: see image). I returned it immediately, and after prompting them, got the refund for the screen protector (yay for that, they get an extra star). However, they refused to refund the cost of postage saying the product was not defective...Read more
, which it obviously is (any reasonable person would consider this screen protector to have a major problem, ie - if they knew about the problem they wouldn't purchase it). The website for this product uses misleading and ambiguous terms such as 'case friendly' (the particular cases that it might be 'friendly with' were not stated) and 'reduced fit' to describe it, when what they actually mean is that this screen protector is significantly narrower than the lcd screen of the phone. None of the photos of the item on the product page show it actually fitted to a phone. Implying, but not explicitly stating or showing, the 'reduced fit' (or misfit) of this screen protector is misleading and deceptive as almost no one would expect that a screen protector specifically designed for a particular model of phone would fit so badly. I'm now out of pocket and have spent considerable time dealing with them trying to get what I'm owed. Australian Consumer law states that products that are not fit for purpose and have a major problem (I think this company would be the only one to argue this) can be returned for a refund including the cost of return postage. My experience (and other's from some of the reviews here) says volumes about their 'customer focus' that they state in their reply to the negative reviews. A truly customer focused company would make sure the web description of this product is crystal clear and unambiguous (not ambiguous and sneaky) so problems like this do not occur in the future. I should have read the online reviews of this company before shopping with them and given them a wide berth. I suggest others do the same.Similar opinion? Write a review on ProductReview.com.au!
